The salt & pepper shrimps were so good. I loved the thick chowmein noodles. Portion was huge. I enjoyed it!

Ordered through the DoorDash app this evening for pickup (chicken chow mein, honey walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, General Tso's chicken, and wonton soup). First and foremost, the customer service was top tier. The owner chatted with me for several minutes about the business while I waited for my food, which made for a really pleasant experience--super cool guy. The restaurant itself was very clean, and they have a large menu with photos available if you choose to order at the counter. Overall, the food was pretty good. The General Tso's chicken wasn't my favorite, as it was a bit too breaded for my taste. The wonton soup had a great broth, though I wasn't too keen on the flavor of the wontons themselves. That said, the other dishes were outstanding--full of flavor and very generous portions. The total for all five items was $60 through the app for pickup, which I felt was fair considering the portion sizes. Overall, this is a great little Fremont spot. Definitely worth checking out. Sorry for not picturing my food.

Stopped in for some Chinese while blazing through town on a business trip. There's only a few tables so it seems more setup for to go orders. They were very nice though. Ordered some chicken egg rolls and sesame chicken, with fried rice. The portions are huge and it came out piping hot. It was good but not great. Not a lot of flavor in the fired rice. The chicken was good though. The egg rolls were ok and a little over cooked. Not bad if you want a quick Chinese meal to go.

If you can zoom in, you'll see in same amount of pepper and even salt on the dish. 11. Salt & Pepper Ribs And definitely, there's no ribs

Let's start by saying I only ordered their salt pepper pork. This is not my normal stomping grounds so I opened my trusty YELP app and had a look. I found this spot close by and decided that the reviews seemed to warrant it as a good choice......... WELP, that was a mistake. At first look they seemed promising. But then you bite in to your first piece and oh my God the amount of salt and pepper were so overwhelming. And yeah I know I ordered salt and pepper pork so what am I complaining about right? But no, you don't understand. It was just ridiculous. The onions and jalapeños by themselves seemed to play a bit better with all that salt and pepper. They sprinkled on it. But there wasn't enough of those to go around with the pork to save the dish. So I muscle through a few more pieces thinking I just got one off. Nope didn't matter.... It actually brought more issues to the surface with this dish. They were all tidbits and quite small, so it was hard to dig out some of the bone and cartilage that stays behind. And then I found a piece that had a decent amount of pork fat on it, you know the one that you see and you go oh man that's gonna be a great bite with all that flavor..... well the flavor that burst from it was the taste of old many day old oil. I know you never can tell actually how long the oil's been sitting but my God you could with this one it had to been at least a week. Yukkkkkk. So on that one bite, I had to stop. If I would've still been around the area, I might've even went back in and asked for my money back. That's how bad it was but I didn't. Unfortunately they made off with approximately 10+ dollars of my money For his poor execution of a dish. And I know I haven't tried all the other dishes but if you can't get this one right at a time when it was slow, so there were no distractions to execute a very good dish then you've got an issue. And I don't know how the heck they've got all those good reviews they do have because This is just crazy..... I'd say pick the next joint down the street if you're looking for Chinese food and give them a try before trying this one.

Food from eastern winds always hits the spot! The owner is super cool and down to earth and he's so generous with portion sizes. Always gotta grab extra sweet and sour sauce. My husband got dinner tonight and I'm super excited to dig in! This is exactly how to wind in on a Friday night.

It was made so fresh and flavorful. God bless America this is the only place in the world you find orange chicken and beef chow mein this good!!!! This is the best Chinese food I've had in my life hands down!!!!

My boyfriend found this spot because I was craving egg flower soup so we decided to give it a try. It's more of a take out spot but they have a few tables inside to eat there. The man who took our order was fun to talk to. He's quite a character. We spoke with another customer who did nothing but praise this spot and said once you come here, you won't stop coming back. He's right. The egg flower soup was so soothing and was exactly what I remembered it to taste like. Their beef chow fun was the best. The beef wasn't overly chewy & with the noodles it just hit the spot. I'll definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu.

Though I prefer my food a little bit more flavorful, Ping's Bistro really shot every single flavor up. The Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables was served first, and without a doubt, is one of the spiciest. It's a good size for sharing, but the preserved vegetables on the bottom was mushy and came in a very small portion. Though supposed to be a part of the dish, seemed to be thrown in just for some extra flavor. Though I selected mild spiciness for the Spicy Boiled Fish, it was still REALLY spicy. Maybe it's my spice intolerance, but this dish lights a fire in your mouth. Also, this dish is mala, so it numbs your mouth. Some people may enjoy this sensation, but it's a pass for me. The fish was really soft and tender though. The fish was my favorite part of the Spicy Boiled Fish. Not only there is fish underneath, it was surprising to see other ingredients like lotus, vermicelli noodles, and much more. The salted egg covered pork was extremely salty and oily. I was surprised to know it was boneless, and I felt like the salted egg crust is too thin, which let the taste of the pork overthrow any type of salted egg taste. The Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus was again one of my preferred dishes, though it was extremely oily. I really liked the egg, black fungus, and bell peppers in this dish. The eggs and black fungus were soaked with flavor and the bell peppers balanced out the heaviness. The pork was also alright, but more on the tougher side. If you were to come to Ping's Bistro, I would advise you to order the Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus. The floors were really sticky, but other than that, everything was alright. The water was poured messily, but I guess it's no big thing. The staff were really quiet and avoided interaction. When they serve your dish, they never wait an extra second before they leave for any questions or requests. They just drop the dish and zoom away. From my review, just remember: saltiness. I'm not convinced that I'll come back again, but I'm glad I tried it out.

When you enter and get seated, you will be prompted to go on the url code at the table to pick your items. While I understand that this is the new way for restaurants to serve guests post-covid, the vast menu items you have to scroll through makes me long for physical menus of the past - but that's just my boomer take for the day. There were a bunch of other items like rice and noodle dishes that looked interesting to pair with the meats, but we were only craving bbq so we skipped out on the carbs. We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Paired with the Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil, they were super delectable. My personal favorites were the pork belly, chicken skin, and beef. We had some leftovers to go and the staff provided us some extra sauce to go so that's a big plus. Great food here and definitely will be back to try more of the other menu items for the full experience.

They also respected my comment for mild spicy, and it was one of the only times I drank almost all the soup since I did not taste artificial powders or too much white pepper. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table.
