I love Thai food. I also like spice, but at a proportion that I can still feel my mouth and not have to cry. With that being said, I got a huge portion of the Thai Spicy Prawn and a side of white rice for about $10, and although I didn't get sick from it, the spice level was too much for me and they didn't specify how spicy I wanted it. My new favorite Chinese / Thai restaurant. The food here is made fresh, and taste so healthy good, not greasy just yummy. This place is halal which means the meat they use is of a higher quality and standard similar if not better than organic. Love the sweet and sour chicken its just so crispy even after the 20 minute drive back to San Jose. I have to say I enjoy the Chinese food here more than the Thai food.The staff is friendly and pack the dishes with diligence. This is horrible Thai food. Most of the menu is Chinese food so I didn't have high expectations. We ordered black pepper fish, general chicken, red curry chicken, and shrimp pad Thai. The general chicken and black pepper fish were the best dishes but they weren't Thai. The pad Thai was edible but not very traditional. The red curry chicken had lots of vegetables and was cooked nicely but was too salty and tasted like they used soy sauce instead of fish sauce. I had lunch here last week with several of my coworkers. We had to get back to a meeting in 35 minutes. We typically would have gotten it delivered, but really had to get out for some air. One of my buddies told me that there was some quick service Thai place down the street. When we got there, they were just replacing freshly cooked items, but weren't fully done transferring the new stuff from the kitchen. We told the woman in the front that we were in a time crunch and she wrote down all of our orders and went into the back personally got all of our food. Probably the best treatment I've ever gotten from a small restaurant like this. The food was amazing, The flavor was great, and the service was the best. I'll be coming here more often. read more

We get take outs from here about once a month. Yes, some of the dishes are salty BUT they are still very tasty. My fav is the chicken red curry, pad Thai with chicken or shrimp and the fried rice. Their food is very consistent. You will definitely have leftovers. Regarding customer service, depends on which lady you run into. One is calm and easy going and the other is a bit too forceful and can be defensive but not unbearable. I still will recommend this restaurant. read more

I have been here several times and enjoyed the food each and every trip. I usually get the chicken chow mein, and kung pao chicken.(occassionally other orders have been the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken) The chicken chow mein does not have a lot of vegetables, but I like it like that. I order it extra done. Comes out perfect for me. I get the kung pao chicken extra well done with extra sauce. Some white rice helps soak up that extra sauce. Mmmmm...I want to go back already. Food comes out fast and hot. The prices have gone up over the past couple years, but not too crazy. Still a good deal in my eyes. Average about $10 per dish, but each dish is large. The only couple of suggestions I would offer are 1) better utensils (forks especially) to eat with. The ones given while dining in are a bit small and weak for the type and size of food. 2) the option for half orders would be nice. They give large portions. I like so many different items, that half orders would be a better option for me. Or a medley tray of some sorts. Either way, I'm a repeat customer for many years, and as long as there are no dramatic changes for the worse, I will continue to be. read more

My red curry chicken had some raw chicken pieces. I've been ordering for years from this place and overall always had a good experience but was not at all satisfied in my last visit . The boxes were not secured properly and the sauce from the prawn dish spilled on some of the other boxes. The red curry chicken dish had several raw pieces of chicken which made it difficult to eat and threw it away so that no one gets sick from food poisoning . Called the restaurant back to let them know and they simply asked for my number and said they can offer a replacement which does not help me since I live 20 minutes away . Will change review if the owner fixes this issue and ensure it doesn't happen again . Otherwise this will most likely be my last time coming here . read more

I went to this restaurant several months ago and the service there was horrible. They call themselves a halal restaurant - what a shame! Soon as I walk in I noticed a younger lady sitting on a chair filing her finger nails in the kitchen area, and the older lady at the register treated me in a strange behavior that resonates with hate/ discrimination. Instantly she was talking to me rudely as if to say I don't belong there. None of these people I saw had any signs of them being Muslim so it can be questionable as to their menu being halal or not. So for you people at this restaurant I give you all a horrible fat FFF- ! I decided to try this place just for the hec of it, and I must say that I like it. It is pretty reasonably priced for Thai food. I usually order three entrees to go and the price range is not that bad. They give you alot of meat as well so it is not full of vegetables. My favorite are the black pepper chicken, and the thai spicy chicken. The mean is also prepared "hala" I didn't understand what that meant at first but it is the way in which an animal is killed for religious reasons. They prepare it special way too according to the manager. If you are into spicy food you will like this place. It is worth a try. read more

This place is a true dump. I wish I could say something positive, but nothing comes to mind. When I arrived, there was some guy picking his nose outside that followed me in. Once inside, he went around the counter and walked into the kitchen. Does NOT wash his hands, picked his ear with his other hand, and then back to cooking. The floors are sticky, and had a faint urine smell inside. I never even got to ordering food, I found myself without an appetite and went back to work. YUCK. read more
