For my 1st time and on Mother's day kudos to my son and girlfriend . Just opened and I must say, the ambiance is like a cool breeze very cool! Food is very tasty, delicious...leaving you with "next time I'll try this.." I enjoyed their mexi-cal skillet and my son Chilaquiles verde sauce and gf a kimchi, egg w/chicken burrito they loved it. Give it a try!

Jo-ah-yo - Korean Loaded, Spanish Omelet, and Banana Espresso

We came here for brunch, which is served from 8-12 (the rest of the menu can only be preferred after 12). There's a long bar inside and nice booth seating, and the windows let in a nice amount of natural lighting. Service did take a little while, especially for how empty the place was when we arrived. We ordered the Banana Espresso, the Korean Loaded skillet, and a Spanish Omelette. The Banana Espresso was very nice, with a clear espresso flavor that wasn't overpowered with sweetness that other places might do. The Spanish Omelette was refreshing as well. It's made of egg whites and some veggies, so I wouldn't expect something like a Spanish tortilla. But the egg white omelette is a light flavor, and the fresh jalapeños layered on top add a nice kick of spice. The Loaded Korean skillet was interesting, but as a breakfast food for me it was heavier than I'd personally like. Two sunny-side up fried eggs layered on top of mini-pancakes, Korean fried chicken, kimchi, American cheese, and a bed of tatter tots sounds like a good time, but I felt like the flavors didn't mesh as well as I'd like when put all together. We asked for ketchup and hot sauce, which arrived in separate small trays. The hot sauce was gochujang, and wasn't as spicy as I'd like.

Don't be fooled by the exterior.

We needed a place like this one! The ambiance, the service, and the food were fantastic. We went here for brunch and it did not disappoint. Our server, Joy, was attentive, made great recommendations, and had a fun personality. The menu is well-rounded with flavors that can satisfy all walks of life in the Tri-City area. I started with an iced banana foam espresso followed by an order of Chiliquiles. My husband had the Ultimate Skillet with pork belly that melted in your mouth! Chef Edward is kind and after we complimented his cooking, he shared that he has experience working at Michelin Star restaurants. No wonder the food was so delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out. You won't regret it! We will definitely be back for dinner and cocktails!

Indian, Korean and Mexican fusion spot and WOW what a treat it was to dine there! The decor is nice and inviting, the food is amazing, the drinks are off the hook but the friendly staff made it PERFECT! Upon entering we were greeted by a gentleman with a great smile who took us to our table. Then came Joy to take our orders. She suggested a cocktail called Beullubeli which has vodka and their house made blueberry syrup -- DEEEELISH!! I wanted to have more but didn't. Hubby had the Spicy Margarita and he ordered a second and asked for a bigger glass LOL. He loved it! For appetizers, we ordered the Elote and shrimp ceviche - both went so good together! For mains, I got the Bombay Sliders which were lamb and it was very tasty. Hubby got wings....you MUST have the wings, it's sooooo good! Tender & juicy on the inside; crispy and flavorful on the outside. Throughout the entire time, Joy checked up on us. She was super friendly and enlightened our experience. Thank you Joy - can't wait to see you again! YES, we will be back cause I wanna try the butter chicken tacos!

I am so ecstatic about this new spot! Newark really needed a place like this. The food was great, the full bar was amazing, and the music created such a fun vibe. I can already see myself spending a lot of time here and I can't wait to work my way through the entire menu. Our bartender Sergio was fantastic and made the experience even better. I'm already looking forward to bringing all my friends here. Definitely a new favorite!

Ok this place just opened officially a week ago, but the soft launch was 3 weeks ago. Anyway, we came for brunch. We were excited to try a number of items on their menu. However, when we arrived there we were told we could only order off the brunch menu. Apparently on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8a-12p they only serve food off the brunch menu. After 12p you can order off the full menu. So basically your brunch options are limited and there are no appetizers/starters or wing options. They have pages of food items before you even get to the brunch menu. Apparently there was another group that came and waited at their table for 45mins until it was noon so they could prefer off the full menu. The place was fairly empty when we arrived at 10:30a and by the time we left more folks were coming in. So they probably knew at noon is when the full menu was available. The place in general was clean and the bar area was nice. Plenty of tables and booths. Restrooms seemed clean and nice. The servers were friendly. The food was ok but didn't knock my socks off. I wasn't blown away by flavors either. For what we were expecting it was just fair. We ordered KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) & Waffles, mexi-cali skillet, and citrus refresher (mocktail). The mocktail probably had the most flavor out of everything we ordered. The waffles already had the syrup on it, which was surprising. We would have thought they would have put that on the side for us to pour over ourselves, but nope. The skillet came out and was not really hot at all. We were honestly disappointed that you can't order other items off the menu during brunch. I'd recommend only giving a brunch menu than the whole menu to see dying brunch times. I'm not sure any of us would rush back. If we did return we will be sure to come when a full menu is available.

I really liked the variety on both the food and drink menus--lots of options to choose from. I tried the BBQ chicken, Crunch Pork, Elote, and the Bombay Slider, and everything came out well-cooked and flavorful. Service was also great. My server was very attentive and genuinely caring. You could tell they were a little nervous since it's a soft opening, but they still did a great job and made sure we were taken care of. Looking forward to coming back soon to try more of the menu!

The appetizers came out at a perfect time before the entree. The food was delicious. The desserts were delicious and the ube cheesecake is very innovative. The service was outstanding, the waiter refilled our waters without having to ask, the manager came to see how our table was doing and he could be seen on the floor attending the other guest and overall it was a great experience. The ambiance isn't too much, the volume of the background music is just right. It has a great vibe whether you are on a date, with family or whatever the occasion may be.

Oaxaca Old Fashioned and Spicy Margarita

Awesome drinks. Jonathan made a killer spicy margarita- just the right amount of spice and everything else. And a perfect Oaxaca Old Fashioned. The cauliflower ceviche was interesting. Pork Belly Bao Buns had a taste that matched the presentation- beautiful. Love the ambience. The staff were friendly. Newark so badly needed a place like this. I can see us becoming regulars here.

Once you enter in the bar, go to the right, they'll give you a stamp on your hand, and then you can head downstairs. There are many lounge areas, and small tables & chairs to sit and drink at. There are also pool tables to use for free! There's also a DJ that plays GOOD r&b, hip hop, pop, and even some throwbacks too! The DJ that night took song requests and even gave a shoutout to the birthday girl in our group too. The cocktails were good, and I'm sad I didn't take pictures of it (had too much fun). The waitress will come to your table and you can order there OR you can also order at the bar. When I ordered at the bar, the waitress was so nice and helped me bring the drinks over to our table. I also had a taste of the fries, and the cups and guac and it was tasty too! There's some parking right infront or a parking lot behind the bar. I will definitely come back!

They were about 10-15 other guests but the places so big and spacious that it almost felt like we had a place to ourselves. There's a spot for a DJ/music and I can only imagine that they have some great shows here. The bartender was attentive, and while they weren't very personable you could tell that they knew several of the regulars. I didn't drink anything fancy, bourbon neat, but it was a fair pour. You order food separately. We are fish tacos, wings & nachos. The fish was fried and coleslaw had a touch of mayonnaise but not too much. This was my favorite dish. The wings of the nachos or what you expect, definitely flavorful and cooked well. We liked the crowd and will definitely be back to listen to some music and check out the lounge downstairs.

As a speakeasy enthusiast myself I definitely agree to the fact that it is "hidden" but also it does kinda give corporate vibes a little bit - maybe we can say they "gentrified" the speakeasy experience which is honestly so funny for Palo Alto. But anyways I don't think a classification should stop you from visiting it. The food is actually surprisingly really good. We came with a pescatarian and honestly while the offerings for snacks were a bit slim, every option was really good. I feel like this was the first time where I understood the price even the the quantity is no where close to be desired. One shrimp is like $6 and I was like whoah. Service is definitely more laid back and it's overall just like a more chill atmosphere. I'm fortunate to work nearby so I'll definitely visit this place a few times after work to blow off some steam... And the drinks! Yes they are good! They are also quite strong! Would come back again but also if you're conscious of budget then I'm not sure if you'll find the same value proposition.

Food: 3 / 5 Service: 3 / 5…read more Ambiance: 2 / 5 Let's start off by making sure that we're all on the same page... This is NOT a speakeasy. Using that language sets up an expectation that neither the ambiance nor the vibe is able to live up to. I can only assume that those reviews that commend this place as a speakeasy have never actually been to a real speakeasy and are more accustomed to box restaurants and bars. I sat at the bar and ordered a bourbon neat with a water back. There were three staff members behind the bar, none of them were particularly friendly or outgoing, which as someone who worked in the industry for years is surprising as a new establishment. Even though it was happy hour time, it was a Wednesday the place was less than half full and good servers /bartenders normally add to the experience and help creat a customer base of regulars to sustain business after the "come see" crowd is over. I ordered d' nuts as a snack and they weren't very special, even a bit overcooked / burnt. Maybe this place is exciting for a Palo Alto crowd that doesn't get out much, especially on the stretch of California given the lack of competition. My guess is that after a few months they will be hard-pressed to find a steady crowd.
