It's a large, beautiful, and very accommodating restaurant located in the shopping center, with plenty of indoor seating, booths, tables, a bar area, and a lovely outdoor patio. We were told they're known for their breakfast, we ordered breakfast while I went with lunch and both meals were delicious! Everything came out quickly, fresh, and tasted great. The service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive, and the manager even stopped by to check on us. We also had several team members checking in, refilling our drinks, and making sure everything was good throughout our meal. You could really tell they cared about providing a great experience. I had a noticeably so great day and it was 105° in livermore so I was not about to cook when I got home. Decided to give jacks a try. And SOOO happy I did! There was no host when I arrived, so I had to wait five minutes for a server to arrive to be seated. Nick the server was friendly and kind to take my orders and offered water. I got the Farmers Market Frittata with a side of hash browns and an English muffin. The frittata was made out of egg whites and filled with lots of feta cheese, yet smaller than the hash browns since the frittata was thin. I ended up with one spinach leaf and the rest are flavorful with mushrooms and onions. I expected the main dish to be bigger, but it's giving inflation plate. I also got a short stack of Swedish pancakes as a morning dessert. It's just flat pancakes made like crepe style with a dollop of butter mixed with lingonberries. I expected to have lingonberries mixed in the pancake batter, but ended up flat. I didn't need much warm syrup since it came with powdered sugar. Still good to finish the whole meal. Overall, I saved nearly $6 with that 20% breakfast coupon from the mail. Tips start at 18%. Not crowded to dine in on a weekday morning and more quiet than weekend brunch. I finished it quick and was still hungry so I ordered some Hot Wings since it was happy hour price. I like the Hot wings more than my steak and I asked for no blue cheese. The issue I had while dining here was it took three attempts and 3 different people at the restaurant to finally get a refill on my soda. Eats: *Calamari *Catfish Po' Boy + mixed green salad & ranch *Tuna Melt + fries *Patty Melt + fries I was debating between the first two and chose the po' boy-- best decision ever! Huge filet of panko crusted catfish, chilled cole slaw, and ciabatta bun toasted to perfection. Salad was a refreshing addition after the indulgent crispy calamari! Our sick kid wanted comfort food and when he thought of mac & cheese, he immediately thought of Jack's. He really likes their bacon mac & cheese. She immediately offered thoughtful suggestions for both drinks and meals, was knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient throughout the entire experience. I can't believe we've been coming here for three years now! It's become a staple on our Sunday afternoon restaurant list. We had never been for breakfast before, but this past Saturday my son had an early basketball game and didn't have time to eat beforehand. We got there around 11 a.m. and were seated right away. She had to go on break, and another server took over. We'd actually had him the Sunday before for lunch -- his service is a bit standoffish, and he seems like he doesn't really enjoy helping guests. Tuna melt bread had a soft butter crispy crust and the flavor of the tuna was perfect . I enjoyed the onion rings especially with the dipping sauce . For starters we had the Beef and barely soup and that's when I knew I was going to like this place . I could have just ate the soup and would have been satisfied.. the soup was very tasty . My only complaint would be that the meatloaf sandwich could have used some cheese and a little mayo but other than that it was good . So I thought I was finished eating but my server Alysa somehow convinced us to order dessert lol . I had a really good experience, I have no complaints other than I had to unbutton my pants when I got in the car .
