Such a fun little breakfast diner! The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The wait staff is super friendly. They were a little slow on the coffee refills but otherwise it was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back.

This was a really nice breakfast spot. I'm new to the area and came across this place on Yelp. There's decent parking available on the lot. The interior was bright, clean, and the staff actually greeted you. They got the table ready while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Against the wall is a circle chair/bench for photo ops, not to sit and wait for your table. Their menu is extensive and has several options for everyone. The drink menu is also impressive. The breakfast boards are perfect for two people. I got the California Benedict with the iced banana latte. Both were delicious and filling. The iced banana latte wasn't syrupy or tasted too artificial. Our orders came out at a decent time, everyone got to eat together.
Lovely space and wonderful service. I ordered a single pancake and machaca with fries. Traditionally, machaca is prepared with rehydrated jerky-like beef that softens in the juices of tomatoes and onions and is then fried with eggs. Most places now make it with just stewed shredded beef, but here it was prepared with chopped up thin slices of beef, and lacked seasoning. However, the twice-fried French fries were some of the best I've ever had. Worth the upgrade. Pancake was a generous size, but had a gluey texture. I had a few bites but left most of it. Think I need to order some of their more popular dishes next time I visit.
I've been here a handful of times now but after today, it cementede opinion of this place for breakfast. This place is among the best breakfast spots in the area. I'm a big country gravy guy and always felt like their gravy was special. I found out today that their gravy is homemade, which explained why it tasted so good. Add that stuff on anything and it will be delicious. Gravy love, aside, there menu is pretty expansive but not overwhelming. You'll get your usual stuff like pancakes, waffles, Benedicts, omlette, and. scrambles. They cover a lot of items and I'll definitely be back to try more, especially their crab cake Benedict and patty melt. I'm particularly mad that I forgot my server's name, I do remember she had teal streaks in her hair. She was probably one of the nicest servers I have ever met. She was helpful with explaining the menu, made sure we were good on condiments and refills, and was the perfect amount of fun and professionalism. Breakfast spots but seem like a dime a dozen but in this economy, you gotta set yourself apart from the rest and this place definitely does just that with their food and service.
Cute little restaurant in Newark, looks family owned. Walked in on a Tuesday morning with my momma. Got sat down right away. Servers were really polite and friendly I got vanilla latte and was really good. My breakfast was good I got simple bacon and eggs. Mom got chilaquiles and said they were really good too. A friend and I were looking to meet for brunch in the Fremont area, and found this place on Yelp. This place is in a big complex of other businesses, and they just have a small sign in front, so it was a little bit hard to find! The parking lot seemed pretty busy on a Sunday morning, but not impossible to find a spot. I walked in and saw people waiting, but we were able to get a seat right away. They have a large menu of breakfast and lunch options. I got the Santa Cruz Scramble which was pretty good. I like how you can get a pancake on the side instead of toast. The breakfast boards looked interesting, enough for a couple people. They were good about bringing more coffee and water. I did feel like they were trying to rush us out a bit after awhile though I get this is a busy place.
I came by this spot because my friend was next door. The outside of the building looks small, but when I stepped in, it's actually pretty roomy. The lady who greeted me was super nice and energetic. I ordered their banana cream matcha and their strawberry cream matcha. The banana was really good. Not too strong or overpowering, just a nice hint of banana. The strawberry though was a bit of a disappointment. The strawberry flavor overpowered the matcha and it tasted a little too artificial for me. But the food looked really good. I'll have to come back to try some next time I'm in town.
Our first time here. Friday lunchtime was a 15 minute wait for a table. We ordered and were told it would likely be a 30 minute wait for food as the kitchen was backed up. (Probably should have led with that info before ordering) We ordered breakfast foods, but the server failed to anticipate us needing ketchup, hot sauce, or jam for our meals. Our food was delivered without condiments and without our toast. We had to wait and wait for those and when the toast did arrive, it was under toasted and over buttered. I suspect David, our server, is either new to serving or not properly trained since he presented three packets of jam in his hand for the toast. Please bring them on a plate, in a basket, or other another appetizing presentation in the future. Food was okay, but not worth going back for. I left feeling like I'm just too old for this place. (I'm 52) The photo spot for social media, music selection, and inexperienced staff were not my vibe.
If you're looking for a brunch spot that expands on breakfast standards and has a great caffeine bar, then this is the spot. You'll find the inside of the restaurant pretty unassuming, with a little photo op area, with the seating area not being anything too fancy or upscale. I had croissant French toast, and chipotle breakfast skillet, a banana matcha and an ube latte. The drinks were very good, with the matcha being just gentle enough to play well with the banana cream. (Although this matcha might not be great for those true matcha fans who enjoy strong matcha) The ube latte was all very good but definitely on the sweeter side. I also found it very odd that when you get the ube latte, you are asked if you want espresso in it? (Latte: a traditional Italian drink made with espresso and large quantity of milk) As for the food, the quantities are all a good enough size to fill up most peoples appetite. The croissant French toast was amazing! It really is a one of a kind experience. The chipotle skillet was also very good, it didn't feel too heavy or greasy, which is always a concern with dishes like that. The only gripe I had was that you had to wait a while to get seated and then depending on your server, it may take another while for them to get through all the tables ahead of you. So be prepared to wait if you go on the weekends. Still, this cafe is definitely worth the try once! And maybe you'll find something on the menu that will make you want to come back again and again. Like the croissant French toast ;)
One of my favorite brunch spots to go to in Fremont! They always have the best drinks - we got one of everything for us all four to try. The even have champagne but we did not get that today. I got spicy chilaquiles with eggs and it was great. I wouldn't mind if it was spicier! The service was quick and they have a cute photo spot too!
Their orange juice is extremely delicious! Loved their pancakes and country potatoes. First come first serve, and food did take time to come, so plan a little bit for the visit. Staff were really helpful to keep us posted on the order along the way! Good ambience & can click some great pics.
Came at 10 am on a Wednesday, had a random 2 hour long lunch break, so decided to come to breeze not only because of the reviews but I was in the mood for some brunch. The restaurant itself is in a nice plaza with plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean and looks like they had bar seating as well. On their special menu they had their strawberry matcha which I'm already a fan of, but this strawberry matcha is my favorite in all the area so far. The avocado toast was also very good, the red onion on top paired well with the avocado and cherry tomato, the fact it came with 2 eggs as well also justifies it as a meal in itself. I also ordered the half order or at this restaurant "fun" size I think Is what it said on the menu, of the tres leches French toast. It's also my favorite French toast because it's not overly sweet like some other tres leches' that I've had, the strawberries tasted very fresh too. The side sausage and bacon were good also however, the side link sausage it's not as greasy or salty as other places which I enjoyed a lot, because although it seems like hearty food it didn't feel heavy at all. Hope that Breeze Cafe stays around, bring everyone here. TLDR; awesome food, great service, try the strawberry matcha, and tres leches French toast

Hands down, one of the best spots in town. The menu is creative and has variety, The drinks are more my wife's "cup of tea" as I am a black coffee drinker, but she tells me they are amazing. Can get busy at times, so I suggest planning for a bit of a wait time in the morning, specially if you are going there on special events such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc..... The joint is vibrant, and busy. If you are expecting a quiet library, please go to a Library. read more
Was in the area for an errand & came across this rad place! Glad I walked into these doors, because they did not disappoint whatsoever! Highly highly recommend this place & highly recommend The Breeze Breakfast Board & upgrade the waffles to Ube - 100% worth it & I washed it all down with a Chamomile Hot Tea. For a long minute I thought my server was the owner with her superb work, ethics, and customer service, thank you Arianna R, & thank you for telling me about the other location closer to me in Campbell - believe that's what you said since I am in Santa Cruz. Told my family about the location since they are in Willow Glenn. As for the ambiance it's cute, clean, & has a little photo-op. Will be back for sure with more family & friends to share it with. P.S. Their menu is MASSIVE & so many choices to go back again & again to try. read more

We came in on Thursday morning. I've been here a couple of times before, and their staff and service are always excellent. They weren't busy yet during our visit, so we were seated quickly. We ordered chicken 'n waffle, steak & eggs, and iced mocha. The portions were generous. The food was delicious and filling. I was craving chicken and waffles, and their chicken 'n waffle definitely hit the spot. The chicken had great flavor, crispy, and was seasoned perfectly. The iced mocha was okay. It needed more coffee flavor, but it was a great partner to the waffles. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to The Breeze Cafe. Inside was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Great lively place to have brunch after Church. We drove from Hayward to eat. This Place was busy on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. Food came out fast and looking amazing! Taste was lacking though IMO. I ordered their Spicy Chilaquiles with $7 upgrade tri tip. Food was plenty of Tortilla and black beans. Not spicy at all. 3/5 Wife ordered Crab Cake benedict. I didn't get to try it. Sad face Daughter ordered Cornbeef hash benedict 3/5 She also wanted to try the bread pudding French Toast. 3/5 My mom and son ordered the breeze breakfast board. It had everything. Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles, fruits, bacon, ham and bacon. 4/5 I wish I ordered my usual go to at breakfast spot. Which is Chicken fried steak. Came with a friend on Friday morning. It was a little crowded but we were able to get seated pretty quickly. I ordered the Chipotle Skillet. The tri-tip had good flavor and was tender, and the onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers added good flavor and texture. It was topped with an egg and there were hash browns underneath, though I wish they had been more crispy. Overall a satisfying breakfast! The breeze Café was hopping on a Saturday morning! We put our names down on the waitlist and waited about 1520 minutes for a table. The menu is extensive with lots of options and they let you customize with your preferences. They brought our food and it looked delicious but it took a while for them to bring us a fork and knife. I really enjoyed the orange juice. It must be freshly squeezed. My veggie skillet was stuffed with beautiful vegetables and nicely seasoned. It came with crispy hashbrowns and one toast. The parking lot is small and crowded. We had to park a few plazas away and walk over. There's only one bathroom so a line may form. read more

Still one of my favorite brunch places. So happy to live close by. Ordered crab cake benedict, one of my favorite items, and this place made it amazingly. Even it was crowded, the employees tried their best to serve us. Ube latte with espresso is not on the menu, but I knew this from on of the employees, when it was my first time coming here. Tasty brunch option with lots of options for foods and drinks. I had a delicious veggie omelette and my friend had the crab egg Benedict and enjoyed it. I want to come back and try their pancakes. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and kept my coffee filled. The restruant was clean and bright. When we got there we were seated right away. The menu is extensive. Everything sounded good so it was difficult to choose. We settled on the tres leche French toast and the cinnamon roll French toast with a side of sausages. The Tres leches was good as long as there was sauce. However, the sauce did not cover the bread so it was dry. The cinnamon roll French toast was over cooked and dry. Only the center portion of the role tasted like cinnamon. The sausages were good. If we ever back in the area, the eggs, Benedict options looked really good as we saw plates going by. An excellent breakfast cafe. Have been here several times and each time, their breakfast items are excellent. Went with a friend and shared their Monkey waffles and their Corned Beef Benedict with Country Potatoes. Good sized portions and both very tasty. Very nice interior for families, business meeting or even a date. They have a unique seating area for couples that you will see in my pictures. Staff was excellent. Parking is free. A great breakfast place for you to try. read more
The Breeze Cafe is located in the Cedar Springs Plaza. [Disclaimer taken from the web] "Cozy breakfast and lunch eatery offering boards, waffles, and coffee, plus beer and cocktails." Upon walking in, this popular Cafe was crowded! The parking is decent though can get challenging during peak hours. The Cafe is simplistic in decor with house music. There is only one unisex restroom which is unfortunate for this busy cafe. When I saw this drink, Iced Banana Cream Matcha Latte, on the special menu i definitely wanted to order it. Though, he brought me out a Strawberry Macha Latte instead. When I asked if this was the correct Banana Cream, he said I ordered the Strawberry and insisted that was my order. He did offer to add banana foam to it, though much much later when he had time to think about it. Breakfast Classics: served with choice of hash browns or country potatoes & choice of toast, tortillas, or add pancake +$2 *Corned Beef Hash & Eggs: corned beef hash & 2 eggs any style. Before ordering, I asked if this was fresh or canned corned beef. He said it was fresh in house-made corned beef with potatoes. When my breakfast came, it looked and tasted like canned to me. I was looking for shredded chunks or cubed corned beef. Nonetheless, it was a good breakfast. The service was polite and attentive. Best of luck to this business. read more

Location - easy to find off Cedar in Newark, same lot as 7-11, parking can be a little tricky on busy weekends, but be patient, doesn't take too long. Service/Ambiance - service is excellent from check in to departure! Host taking names was fast and friendly. Waitress was prompt, patient and thoughtful when some of my family was being indecisive, even offered a small sample do the ube drink! Get crowded so sometimes a little loud. Food - AWESOME! Fresh, fluffy and delicious. Fruit was perfectly ripe, pancakes & waffles were perfect. Portions were generous. You can't go wrong! Try it out! read more

The Breeze Cafe is located in a strip mall just outside of Newpark Mall. There's plenty of parking in the surface lot and although the lot is shared with a number of other businesses, I have yet to see it even half full. The service here is great - all of the staff are helpful and accommodating, however, during the breakfast rush, the food can come out quite slowly so I definitely don't recommend stopping by if you're in a hurry. The menu here is massive - there is something for everyone - and overall, the food is quite solid. I had the Mexican scramble, which had scrambled eggs and chorizo, as well as a side of hash browns. I wish they included the tortillas since I can't think of any other way to eat chorizo and eggs but to wrap it in a corn tortilla, but alas, they are an extra $3 for 3 tortillas, which is pretty skimpy. Also, they don't have any spicy homemade salsa and they'll just bring you tabasco, Tapatio, or Cholula if you ask for it. If you don't mind sharing, the breakfast platter is quite substantial and could easily feed 3 very hungry people. The avocado toast looked pretty skimpy to me - a single slice of supermarket bread (about 5" squared) topped with sliced avocado and I'm pretty sure just everything bagel seasoning. Other entrees looked much more substantial in comparison, but I suppose it's good if you're a lighter eater and don't mind paying the same price as someone else at your table that will easily have twice the food. Overall, it's a nice place for grab breakfast or brunch. read more

Overall - 6/10 Breeze Cafe was overall a pretty mediocre experience. On paper, a lot of the menu items sound really good and make you excited to order, but once the food actually comes out, it just doesn't hit the way you expect. Everything looked solid, but the flavors were pretty underwhelming--nothing was bad, just kind of lacking that punch you hope for. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was the fresh orange juice machine being out of oranges. It's a small detail, but when you're expecting something fresh and they can't deliver, it takes away from the experience a bit. That said, I'll give them credit where it's due--the cafe was decorated for Easter, and you can tell they put effort into creating a festive atmosphere. It added a nice touch and showed some spirit, even if the food didn't fully match the vibe. Overall, not a terrible spot, but not one I'd go out of my way to revisit either. read more

The breakfast is served here with a big smile and friendliness ! The tables are a little too cozy but I got over it once the food arrived. Ambience was clean and cheerful The Breeze Benedict wax was cooked to perfection and very filling and the hash browns were extra extra crispy just as I love them! The OJ was so. Fresh and refreshing! We will be back soon! read more

i asked the same thing, and they said they have salads, and they can modify any dish on the menu for you, but i believe they said they don't have any gluten-free dishes

No they don't. After 9 am, the place gets busy until after lunch
Can they accommodate a party of 6?
Yes. Our party was 3 but the table next to us had 6 people and babies.
Do they accommodate vegetarians for their breakfast boards?
They do! I would ask them beforehand though, by calling in or asking upon request for alternate options :)
