    Chicken fried steak benedict

*** Update*** Went back today to try something different and so glad I did. The restaurant is decorated with the Christmas spirit, super cute. Osvaldo was amazing and very attentive. I ordered the French toast with fresh berries and walnuts. I have to say...the French toast was DELISH. The bread they used is amazing! Kind of like Japanese bread. The berries and walnuts make a yummy addition. I had eggs and extra crispy bacon on the side and they did it to perfection. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich to go. This was also yummy but would be perfect with a pickle on the side. I will definitely go back again and bring the fam. Please go and check it out if you have time....oh and they take reservations!

It has the old school dining vibe. It's right next to the Home Depot. You know this is good service when I ask for the coffee and the waiter brings in the coffee and a glass of iced water without me asking. The ultimate omelette is excellent. It's delicious and the ingredients are fresh.

I go here with my boyfriend almost every weekend. We just love the service and the food. We always sit at the same spot. It's spacious and there's hardly any wait to sit. Our food also arrives pretty fast. The server is always kind and attentive. They even bring out other options for us to try - this is in terms of the salsas and drinks. The food portions are great. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone that loves a great breakfast and service.

This was my first visit, and it's hands-down the best breakfast I've ever had. Everything was incredible--from the amazing food to the exceptional service. The fresh orange juice is a must-try! I recommend this place 200%. I'm sad I didn't think of taking a picture of my food but my daughter took a picture of my grandson's.

We ate at My Cafe on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was very busy, but there's plenty of seating so we didn't have to wait very long. Service was decent for it being so busy. We both got All American Classics (breakfast) which is meat, eggs and 2 sides. I got a pancake and breakfast potatoes. My food was lukewarm but the pancake was good albeit a little hard to cut, probably because it was lukewarm. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes because they were cut too large and there was some seasoning on them I didn't much care for. All in all, it was a solid "it's okay" but not a place I'd go out of the way for.

Literally live less than 5 minutes away from here but have never tried it. Finally got our chance to taste their food and it was decent. Major take on everything primarily needed a bit more salt and pepper. I know some places just don't season their food that great but a bit more goes a long way. No complaints on the service and staff. Super friendly and attentive. Since there's only a 5 star rating on yelp id have to be right at the middle of anything. Nothing really stood out from what we ordered. Decent food with great service. Old diner feel and not too busy. If you're looking to try them out please give them a try!

Cute little diner. Very nice menu and also cozy. Vegetarian options. Hot chocolate with whipped cream is my constant every visit. Order the seasoned potatoes. Very quick and friendly service. Oh!! And the churro waffles!!

During a recent trip to Newark to visit a family member, I decided to go out for brunch on a Saturday. I found the perfect place! My Cafe has a cozy, homey vibe and friendly service--which is always important to me--and the food was fantastic! The most challenging part was deciding which dish to order. I finally went with the Country Fried Steak Benedict. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture before I ate it all! But I did manage to snap a photo of my Mimosa. Next time you're searching for a cozy spot to enjoy a delightful family-friendly brunch with tasty food and a refreshing mimosa, be sure to visit My Cafe in Newark. I wish I lived closer so I could stop by more often!

The food came in what felt like a few minutes after we ordered and everything was hot and comforting. I ordered the country fried steak which comes with toast, potatoes and eggs your way. The gravy was so smooth and done well, the potatoes are sweetened which was interesting. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star for me was the country fried steak wasn't the tastiest, it was okay but the best that I've had in terms of texture and seasoning. I am very opened to returning to try their omelette. Portions are big here.

step foot in country way and you'll have your patriotism (or any remainder of it after the past…read moreyear) tested. it reeks of cigarettes and buttcheeks and the dishes presented look like all american slop. does it taste good? no! but in some ways you'll rediscover your love of america right in this little establishment. it's the place of memories, whether you want to reminisce or create new ones. this is the place you go when you're hungover, or when you're a broke teenager looking for a place to loiter with your massive friend group (there's only two girls, you have a crush on one of them, she's probably gay), or when you come back from a trip abroad in a country that does not have enough grease in their local cooking. you come to celebrate your 95 year old grandma's birthday (by the way she doesn't remember your name), and to go out with your football team (apparently your team has done well this season; coach naively offers to treat, so everyone except coach orders three dishes each and complains of hunger an hour after eating), and to meet up with random friends of your parents (you didn't even know they existed, and they spend an hour commenting on the following: your height, love life, and college applications). either way you want some cheap, easy, horrible food. you choke down your dish that's got oil puddles on the side and mysterious radioactive sauces because the portions are huge and binge eating is nigh. you save half, or a quarter, or maybe none of your dish for later, knowing that you will most definitely forget about the leftovers and trash them when they turn moldy. this is a true diner - arguably one of the most waffle house-esque establishments in fremont, and thus a quintessential american experience. you have to live it to understand it all: the questionably quick service, the servers stacking full plates on one arm, the pile of smuckers jam on every table, the chattering in multiple languages, and most importantly the trashy food. so would i encourage you to come here? ideally not at all! you will be disappointed beyond measure. but if you're like me and disillusioned with your american-ness you can come here and renew your patriotism. 3 stars for the experience.

Immediately upon entry, you can see the huge display of neatly arranged donuts, malasadas, and pastries and they all look amazing! So many flavors to choose from that it was a little overwhelming. Parking is maximum 3 hours and there are some tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy your goodies. Overall, I think I'm still going to stay loyal to Doughweime in Union City, but these malasadas do live up to the hype. Everything bagel malasada: Surprisingly really good, a light cream cheese filling with everything bagel seasoning on the outside. And the texture of the savory donut was crispy and airy. 9/10 Strawberry cream malasada: Kind of plain, would've been good with strawberry bits inside. 7/10 Biscoff cream malasada: You can taste the real Biscoff crackers in the filling. 7.5/10
