I can only speak of the salads here. My friend has been bringing "Joe's Salad creations" from here to our Friday potluck. Fresh ingredients, ripe sweet fruit, and creamy delicious dressings.

This is for the Chinese chicken salad. The vegetables are fresh and battered chicken are very tasty but the sesame powder (?) and dressing doesn't match the salad. I will be back to try the soup and sandwiches

    A great egg salad sandwich!

This place is further from where I work than I typically go for lunch, but I was up in the area for an errand, and decided to try it. Glad I did. An egg salad sandwich is an egg salad sandwich? Not quite. a) lots of egg salad, cool. b) *green* lettuce, cool. c) a pickle, very cool. There's a place right around the corner that used to give pickle slices with their lunches, and when covid hit they stopped, and never started back up again. Don't think I didn't notice that! I'll be back to Vince's ...

    Veggie sandwich It's not good.

I got a veggie sandwich. It's really bad. Would not recommend if you're looking for vegan friendly options. The bread is tough and soggy. The veggies are all dipped in pickle juice so it was so wet. And slimy juice was dripping off. Overall terrible.

First time trying this place and it's only down the street from my job so I was really hoping to like it. The service was like no other I have seen. I came right at the lunch rush and I waited in line less than 2 min with 3 people ahead of me. I ordered their salmon day special. It was a pasta with salmon and cauliflower. I liked it but nothing too memorable. The side options were a soup or salad. I went with the soup and it took the show! I never thought a chicken tortilla soup needed cheese but I've been missing out all my life. It added a saltiness and gooeyness that I've never had before. Once ordered I waited maybe 5 mins. They had about 10-15 people working at once. You can see right into their kitchen and it was a well oiled machine. Really happy I found this place. I'll be back to try their Sanwhiches or any other specials they might have.

Vince Cafe has been in Southern Fremont for years, as this is a very popular place to grab lunch from the local businesses. They are very spacious inside and they have outdoor seating too, with plenty of parking. They have a wide range of fresh items, such as cold & hot sandwiches, burgers, fries, soups & salads & even pasta. Their menu does change, but their cold sandwiches are pretty consistent. Because all of their items are freshly made, it can take a while for your food to be prepared, so you should only come here if you have a longer lunch break. Also if you come here during the peak lunch hour, they can be very crowded. If you want to pay with your credit card, the minimum purchase is $10. As for the food, they're good & fresh, and worth the price that you pay for; and you're supporting a local business.

Vince's is a go to for the businesses in the area so it gets busy during the lunchtime hour. Pictures one of their specials 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 salad. I've gotten their California turkey before but pictured is their Club sandwich. It does the trick for a quick close spot during the work day but overall the sandwiches are average. My personal preference is warmed bread and cheese but this is your average cold cut sandwich. Their croutons in the salad are delicious though! They taste like they are freshly made. I will probably come back due to convince

I've honestly only come here for lunch and always want to try their specials or burgers - BUT can't stop getting my fave sandwich every time I walk out of this damn place... This is a legit hole in wall, mom & pop owned shop serving a mix mash of different foods, anything from short ribs on mashed potatoes TO honey walnut prawns TO sandwiches & burgers...YES it's weird, but it somehow freakn works.... Super fast service, you look at the menu - order - pay - get a number - find a seat or wait for your to go. Line looks long but will move fast. Food will also come out fast which is always a plus, if you get a sandwich (to go) it'll pretty much be ready when you get to the register to pay. I always get the California turkey sandwich which comes on a YUMMY Dutch crunch bread that just does wonders + Generous amount of turkey + lettuce + avocado...then I add sprouts AND a cup of soup which can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the soup is good, but most of the time it can be a little too watery - def. made in house if that tells you anything...all in all - the sandwich alone makes me happy!

Location is near the Mirchi cafe on Fremont Blvd in the plaza right next to Wonderland smoke shop. There is plenty of parking. Staff was super nice and helped me open the stuck door that you have to pull really hard on to get in. The market is small but curated and I was drawn to the imported potato chips. I picked up a bag of Lay's Masala chips I haven't had since I was in Mumbai, excited to eat it with my sandwich. The sandwich took about 10 minutes to make and panini-press and smelled delicious. However, when I got home I immediately noticed the color and thought they had mistakenly used roast beef. I looked at some of the other reviews and their doordash image and I'm confused on what I got. The pastrami was missing the distinct reddish-pink color from brining and black bark from smoking, I'm not sure how it was prepped in-house but it tasted like roast beef. I did enjoy the blueberry jam and pepperoncini combo.

I walked into this deli today hungry and wanting something very simple: a turkey sandwich on whole wheat. Instead of being greeted by a person behind the counter, I was directed to a kiosk. The kiosk was surprisingly limited and frustrating to use. I could not find an option for a basic turkey sandwich without scrolling through a long list of pre-built combinations that did not work for me. There was no easy way to customize and no visible option to simply order something straightforward. What made it worse was the complete absence of human interaction. There was no opportunity to ask a question or clarify an order. It felt transactional in the worst way. I was not alone. The couple next to me also gave up and left without ordering. We all walked out without ever speaking to a single person. If you are going to replace staff with kiosks, at least make the system intuitive and flexible. Sometimes people just want a simple sandwich and a quick, human exchange. I ended up leaving hungry and disappointed..

Portions are huge and one sandwich is plentiful which can be easily shared among two people for sure. Nowadays, the experiences aren't the same anymore and perhaps, it's been under new people management or something. It's been lacking some logistics and sometimes, it's difficult to hear the order being called out while lots of customers are inside. I told the front staffs that I wanted my portobello chicken sandwich $15.99 and the watermelon beverage $7.99 for here/dine-in. I even left them over $3.50 tips here. While everyone else picked up their orders very fast, mine was stuck somewhere in between others. They all got table numbers except me. I even asked if I needed a table number since I was planning to dine-in, but nobody answered or wanted to respond. They were too busy preparing sandwiches. Wait time to receive order was a bit over 15 minutes. I ended up standing around waiting and waiting, thinking about why I even tipped the place when my anxiety levels were escalating. Without a table number, how would they even know which table outside to deliver my orders to? Portobello chicken sandwich was very good though. Ingredients are full. Ciabatta bread was huge. This thick sandwich can definitely feed two people. Watermelon beverage tasted good too. Tables weren't all wiped down outside, but I can see the few employees hustling and bustling. It's still a strange feeling to not have a table number assigned to me while others did have one. Overall, sandwiches are still good and portions are generous. People love coming here. I think the staffs need more management briefing. They are all hardworking, but the front counter service leaves an impression and feeling about the overall experiences here.
