When you walk in...you see nice modern decore and immediately get the cool vibe warm hang out feeling. Soon as I got to the counter I saw the round crepe grill, so that pretty much made my decision of what I wanted to order. Fresh ordered crepes! I ordered the "Triple Chocolate Drizzle Sensation" Mix of white, dark and milk chocolate drizzle (added fruit) Omg.. it was sooo satisfying to watch how my crepe was made fresh from start to finish. I am willing to cut some slack for the location that this cafe is located in (sketchy from having been run down for years after Cloverleaf closed). The interior was bright and well lit, too, and the employees that work there are friendly. That's as far as I can go with the good things to say about this place, though. Right off the bat after we received our food, we realized that this place was egregiously overpriced. Not even the standard overhyped Bay Area overpriced, either, but prices that genuinely make you wonder if the place is a money laundering scheme. We paid $16 for the Kinder Bueno mini pancakes, and what we received was twelve coin-sized pancakes made with cheap store-bought mix and saturated with toppings. Needless to say, the quality of the food did not meet the outrageous price that was being charged for it. I needed to use the bathroom during my visit, and as soon as I entered, I noticed that the floor was covered with roaches, both dead and alive. I made sure to make my bathroom break as quick as possible. Other reviewers have expressed concern that certain reviews may have been fabricated (and have since been deleted, seeing that I cannot find them anywhere). This includes the use of fake accounts, AI-generated profile pictures, and likely fabricated favorable reviews. This goes beyond criticizing the quality of the food and atmosphere, but the integrity of the restaurant and its owners. Hopefully they can improve the quality of their food, maintain better hygiene, and charge more reasonable prices starting from here. The food is ok, though might be a bit too "indulgent" for my taste. They're called Melt N DRIZZLE, but the waffle and crepes just had a ton of toppings dumped onto it like gravy on a Thanksgiving turkey. Waffle itself was pretty hard and stale, so I'm guessing it's just reheated from frozen rather than made from scratch. Drinks were really good, though, and the one person they have behind the counter was really nice. I complimented them on their plating, and they seemed very appreciative. Interior is also very clean, though I'd hope so considering how empty they seem to be whenever I pass by on my way to the cafe around the corner. I do, however, love their branding and design. With all of that said, the most sketch part about this business is the location: It's located in the old Cloverleaf plaza where there's a lot of closed storefronts and a bunch of shady, dirty-looking characters walking nearby (or trying to walk around while shouting at invisible people before doing the fenty fold). In fact, while I was leaving, there were two homeless people with shopping carts right in front of the business, trying to take parts off a car in the parking lot -- in the middle of the day! Then there's all the trash nearby: glass bottles rolling around, random pieces of paper just laying on the floor, and plastic bags drifting through the wind, wanting to start again -- you know the deal. It just doesn't feel safe, and I hope no one gets hurt. Came around 12:30pm on a Tuesday and it was completely empty. Definitely a place for after dinner or a weekend treat. Only one worker at the time, but she was nice and helpful. Clean decor and they have games available to play. Food was plated nicely, but too sweet for me. I felt like I was going to get diabetes lol! If I were to go again I would either get just a dessert or just a drink to avoid a sugar overload. I couldn't do both at the same time. I got the Biscoff Matcha and wished they had drizzled the biscoff spread around the cup instead of plopping a scoop at the bottom. At the end of my drink I was literally just drinking the spread lol! Be sure to mix it well if you get it! Only weird thing I noticed is the chocolate fountain. We came 30 minutes after they opened and it had dried chocolate all over it already. It made me wonder if they leave it overnight and reuse it or if they change it out daily. Located in a deserted strip mall, there was plenty of parking available on Sunday around opening time, and the interior of this dessert shop was quite pleasant. A clean setting with ample seating and a few board games available for guests. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a chocolate milkshake with a chocolate cracking glass. Looking at my receipt, I guess she gave me the "midnight shake" since the cracking glass is apparently not available with classic shakes. It costed $2 more for the cracking glass (not $1) since I was charged for a signature dessert shake, though what I got was basically a classic chocolate shake. Not sure the difference. The cracking glass seemed to be made with milk chocolate, a bit too sweet for my taste. I'd much prefer dark chocolate. I was excited that this former cloverleaf strip mall was getting new life but this place was massively disappointing. there was silence as i entered and left the cafe. it felt lifeless, which was exacerbated by the fact it was 9 pm. theres no music playing - i could hear the conversation of everyone around me and the sound of the air conditioning. The staff was nice though. I came here twice. First for the banana shake and didn't enjoy it. Wanted to give them a second chance, so I went again for a waffle. That was a mistake. Banana shake 2/5 - i was super excited for this one, but extremely disappointed once i had some. i didnt taste much banana from it, tasted mostly like milk. The consistency was good, very creamy, but just needed more banana to be perfect Pistachio pleasure waffle 1/5 - quite expensive for a waffle of that size. Me and my gf decided that this was one of the worst waffles we've had in a long time. the waffle tasted stale.. lowkey the bran taste was strong? They used pistachio syrup that was not too sweet by itself, but they layered on a very thick layer which caused it all to become goop. Theres is not enough pistachios on top for a texture difference either. there was so much syrup that the waffle would stick to my teeth and gums. more like syrup and powdered pistachio with waffle on the side. read more

Went around 9:15 pm on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty with maybe 3 small groups plus my wife and I. Very clean and nice decor for the shop. It is in the strip mall in the old Cloverleaf bowling alley lot and it's one of the only businesses there. They did a nice job with decor and lighting bringing a little life to this dead strip mall. They did menu has a lot of options from crepes to waffles or mini pancakes. There is a good selection of coffee and they have some to go single serve cakes. Employee was super friendly and tended to us throughout. I think he is very excited to have a business and really wants to go above and beyond to build their clients/customers. It was a nice touch with so many businesses losing the personal customer service model. We went with the brownie bite crepe which is full of brownie pieces and whip cream while being covered in 3 kinds of chocolate. Additionally, we got a triple chocolate waffle with some fruit on the plate. We asked if sharing one was ok and he was unsure but unless you are a very hearty eater or more than two people, the portions were plenty to share just one. Our 22 year old didn't mind us bringing home about half of each for him. They were both very good. He came and apologized that their strawberries were not great and he supplemented some extra banana and kiwi in their place. The fruit was delicious. The crepe consistency was excellent and the whip cream and chocolate were delicious. I definitely favored the crepe over the waffle but really liked the fruit on the waffle plate. We'd like to go back and try the pancakes in the future. Would really like to see a small business do well as there are limited fun dessert spots in Fremont and this place is a little unique. Melt n Drizzle has recently opened close to a very empty parking. I found them from social media and it seems that not a lot of people know about it since they're very new. They should somehow promote their place to get more attention online. Place looks very nice inside especially with calm music playing on the background. Similarly, not many people I see when I walked in but perhaps give them a few months. I also really like when they displayed chocolate fountains. Basically it's a dessert cafe that serves pancakes, crepes, waffles, milkshakes, and other beverages. I'm not really hungry since I ate. So I decided to try one of their milkshakes called Velvet Vanilla, which I usually see from their posts online. Really sweet and flavorful though, but I prefer to drink it from in a slightly thicker straw since milkshakes tend to be hard to drink due to its high viscosity. I wonder what's behind that Velvet Vanilla. Maybe something to do with how strong the vanilla flavor is? It may be too early for me to draw a conclusion to this cafe since I haven't tried their foods like pancakes and waffles yet, but hopefully, they're as good as the shake I had. Such a stunning new spot! Melt n Drizzle has a beautiful ambience and charming decor that makes it the perfect place to sit down and indulge. On top of that, customer service was a total 10/10! I tried the Pistachio Crepe, and it was phenomenal. The crepe itself was incredibly thin and delicate. The pistachio filling was velvety and rich and the best being not overly sugary, carrying an authentic, nutty depth. The desserts and milkshake we shared were not only tasty but picture-perfect! They have a variety of treats: crepes, waffles, little pancakes, and milkshakes as well as lots of coffee drinks, all with the latest hot flavors (Dubai chocolate, biscoff, kinder bueno...). I mean, it's a dessert cafe, two of my favorite things! We had the kinder bueno crepe, a chocolate and fruit crepe, and a chocolate shake. While we waited for the beautiful desserts to be carefully prepared, we played Jenga and checkers (they have other games you can play, too.) I will definitely be back to try the coffee drinks. Wanted to love this place because it's new and all the reviews are 5 stars, but our experience was kind of mixed. My husband and I stopped by around 8:30 PM and ordered the chocolate waffle drizzle, crepe drizzle, strawberry banana milkshake, and brownie milkshake for takeout. Total was about $60 including tip. The good: the chocolate was AMAZING. Both milkshakes were also really good. The strawberry banana milkshake was my favorite, and the brownie milkshake was delicious too (although it tasted more like cookies and cream than brownie). I'd give both drinks 5/5. The disappointing part was the waffle and crepe. We ate these as soon as we got in the car but the waffle tasted stale, and the crepe had a rubbery texture that made it seem like it wasn't freshly made. I'd honestly rate both the waffle and crepe around 1-2/5. Maybe we came too close to closing or caught them on an off night, because I don't understand how all the reviews are so positive compared to what we experienced. The chocolate and milkshakes were definitely the highlight, and I'd be willing to give them another shot in the future.
