I am continually being mistreated by management at this facility. He will not return emails requesting assistance nor will he do anything to help when I walk in the office. I tried to link my accounts into the app they make you use but then dont assist any further instead he tells me they don't do that and haven't done it for a year. When using the app it says go into the office to ask for assistance. I called customer service and they said I'd have to go into the office. This is the kind of run around I get just to access my account. Yet he had no issue sending me an email to tell me my card on file expires in a month or my bill is past due by a day or no problem taking money from the card on file when I did not set up autopay (since I still can't even access the account) just so he can charge me an extra $50 for staying 15 minutes past 8pm. I am still having issues with what I was told at sign up 3 months ago and what is actually allowed at this facility. I would avoid this place at all cost! It's going to cost me an extra 1k due to there lack of concern and lies for their customers. I have no idea if the owner is telling management to breach the contract or if management is being petty on their own without the owner knowing since I haven't heard from him yet either. Would love to get this all resolved amicably before I get another month of fees here. read more

Rented at 7x7 for over 10 years - went to close it and clean out my things and there was rat shit everywhere. The got into all my items and even ate through my punching bag. Told management that after being a loyal customer and paid 166.00 a month for this unit that I deserved a refund. Not only that but this unit is advertising for 70.00 and I paid 166.00. So outrageous and to have all my items destroyed when you state that you keep the units clean. Not happy whatsoever with this service. read more

We have had a storage unit here for years for our business. The past few months it has gotten rats in it. The rats are nibbling on the furniture and our furniture pads that is stored in the unit. We have talked to management and they put some glue traps in our unit which has done nothing. Beware of renting here because of the vermin. read more

I recently moved into the area, and needed a storage unit for some random furniture that wouldn't fit into my new place. I was having trouble finding the rite size for what I needed, and didn't want to get one too big and too expensive, but I also didn't want to get one too small either. I called A Storage place, and a man named Tommy answered the phone. He was very polite, and helpful, and he really went above and beyond to help me find out exactly what size unit I needed. Their pricing was less expensive than other places I called, and their customer service over the phone was WAY better than any other place I called. After speaking with him over the phone, and reserving my unit, I went to the property the next day to check it out in person. My fiancée had had his storage unit here for sometime now; 8 years I think. Today, spur of the moment, we decided to clear it out and cancel his storage unit in order to get rid of a bill we didn't really need to be paying. I had visited his storage unit on several occasions, and every time we have been greeted with polite, friendly and helpful service. They are very clear on what they can do for you here and will work with you gladly through any complications you may have. The woman behind the desk is so kind and she really values the happiness of her customers and expects full professionalism from the staff. Even though we gave no notice, which we were supposed to give a 15 day notice, she said there would be no problem and she completely understood why we wanted to cancel. Unfortunately, we have to pay one more bill this month because we failed to give the 15 day notice, but we really didn't mind, it was on us. We really appreciated how much the woman helping us wanted to do something bout that but we kept waving it off, not even wanting or needing any kind of fee waver. The serves here was so great and helpful we will defiantly be recommending people here and gladly return if we ever are in need of a storage unit again! read more

The couple managing the place is friendly. They were upfront with the promotions available or discounts on a lock I needed. When I come to unload they are usually helpful, for example one day I needed to know if it's going to rain that evening, so I don't get caught with my stuff wet - they happily looked it up for me on the web. Another time I missed the dead line for evening gate lock-down by a few minutes, they had opened it for me without charging penalty that is in the contract. Unfortunately, recently they have not very kindly. It was a hot noon of a May day, another couple has emptied their cell into the corridor blocking the isles up and down to both exits and blocking access to other's storage cells including my own. Left with no option but to work outdoors, I stretched a tarp over my head so I don't burn, dehydrate or get a sun stroke and worked on sorting my stuff. Then came the facility manager and instead of apologizing for the situation started yelling at me 'I try to run a business and you are creating a mess' they ordered me to stop organizing, pack and leave. A month later I am still waiting for a reasonable apology. In general they have mostly been welcoming and cooperative. I hope they're good on the long term customer service as they are about sales. read more

This is the filthiest storage rental facility I've ever rented from. For months I'd been complaining to management about their bird feather problem. Every time their response was "we're working on it". Clearly they haven't done anything about it because it's only continued to get worse. The only action management has taken is raising their rental fees. A few weeks ago I gave notice and filled out the paperwork stating that I would be removing my property. When I went to do so a few days later I noticed, in addition to all of the bird feathers, rodent feces all over my property. I went into the office and informed the employee about it, and told him that for safety reasons I would need to come back with a respirator, gloves, Lysol, etc. I have asthma and other health issues and I'm not going to put myself at risk for something like Hantavirus which is a potentially life-threatening disease carried by rodents. The following day I called and spoke with one of the managers and politely explained the situation. He expressed no amount of concern, and sounded as if he were bothered speaking with me. I asked if he would grant me a little longer to retrieve my property without charging me again. He had agreed, but just four days later I was charged anyway. Unless you have no concern for your property or your health, I'd highly advise you to find another storage facility. read more

We shopped high and low throughout Colton, Loma Linda, Redlands, and Yucaipa for a storage unit for our things. Tony and Belinda were extremely accommodating, offered an extension on one of the company's promotions, let us know every way we could save money, and were very quick with getting the paperwork together when we decided to go with them. The storage units all have epoxy floors, good cross ventilation, and the grounds are very clean. Seriously the cleanest storage place I have ever experienced. I had belongings there for 2 years that I rarely accessed and there was not a single cobweb or even much dust. I always felt very safe at any hour and never had any concerns for my stuff. The staff is very friendly and the option to pay online is beyond convenient. Had a great experience last time time so returned this time. Uhaul took it upon themselves to borrow the van and not return it. I arrived 20 minutes past my pick up time and had to wait another 30 minutes till it was returned messing up my whole schedule for the day. No phone calls, text or warning by email. I have called several locations and when I called A storage place the gentleman tomas or thomas ( well can't say gentleman ) was very rude and short it was like he did not want to be bothered.
