What stood out: Service: The woman taking orders was attentive with answering our questions and making recommendations. Our two crunchwraps took around 25 minutes before our buzzer rang and we went to pick it up. Product/Food: I ordered the buffalo chik'n crunchwrap and my boyfriend ordered the nacho cheeze crunchwrap. As someone who despises eating lettuce, the way the cold and warm ingredients are intentionally layered throughout the crunchwrap is beyond delicious. I ate my crunchwrap within minutes of it being hitting the table. The tortilla was perfectly flaky, the homemade ranch was an amazing texture, and the chick'n was seasoned to perfection. Ambiance: Toasty is a small food trunk in the Podski food truck pod complex. It is incredibly busy and it can be difficult to find a seat. And we stayed the night AFTER the show instead of driving back to Beaverton. SO the next day we had brunch at Fix & Repeat. She was wearing her AJR shirt and hat, and she was HAPPY and still bubbling over the show. We were talking about the show and received our food - we both ordered the Spiced Burrito. Let me tell you - this place is PLANT Based. So it's not FAKE meat. It's walnut meat which takes a lot of effort and knowing how to flavor and season. Because it's just mashed walnuts otherwise. We got the burrito and used the Campfire Hot sauce (which is SO delicious and flavorful - and local to Bend!) And my daughter said she felt like Angels had made and delivered her burrito as it was THE BEST THING SHE'D EVER EATEN. It had such great flavor. It was phenomenal. I love a hearty breakfast burrito and man it was delicious. Then after we were drooling over the food we had JUST eaten, we went back to talking about the concert. There were two openers - one that we shall not mention and Izzy Escobar. The manager or owner, who was there working started talking to the staff about the concert and we said OMG you were there too?!?! And mentioned WOW was Izzy Escobar amazing or what?! And she said yes and we were bubbling over talking about HOW incredible she is and one of the staff members said "UM - that's her isn't it?!" And we looked behind us and Izzy and her band were SITTING ON THE PATIO!!! She is vegan so they popped in for breakfast too!! And also kept saying how AMAZING the food was. Our food and drinks also came in a timing manner. I really appreciated that we could see all the way back into the kitchen and there was transparency between the kitchen and the consumers. The bar looked gorgeous and I would definetly like to sit there next time for the vibes. I also loved that they provided self-serve boxes, napkins, and utensils but still had a sign asking patrons to be concious of how much they're using. I was seated quickly at a small table near the front of the restaurant by a friendly host. The restaurant itself is so fun and quirky, with colorful decor and roses covering the ceiling. It has such a cheerful, playful atmosphere that immediately puts you in a good mood. A cheerful waitress came over shortly after to take my order. I ordered the Butterflies--wontons filled with Dungeness crab, garlic, cream cheese, and green onions, served with a sweet chili dipping sauce--and the Curry Basil Noodles. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous. Despite having a couple of large parties in the restaurant, I didn't feel like I waited long for my food. I had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later, which is always a bonus! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to enjoy another meal here the next time I'm in town.

As a major Thai food fan having eaten in Thailand, specifically Chiang Mai several times, I was eager to try the Northern Thai spot. We had spent the whole day hiking and were excited to grub. The only redeeming factor was that there's no wait (which should be a red flag more than anything). We got the vegetarian papaya salad, tom kha, and curry noodles. Service started off great with waters and quick attention. However, the food was beyond disappointing. The papaya salad was artificially sweetened, with some odd sweet syrup poured over the combination of papaya and one sole tomato slice. No citrus or spice could be tasted. The tom kha was also not well made, with it being sweet more than anything and the tofu tasting like it has been cut up and tossed in the soup 1 minute before service. The curry noodles started off strong with a nice spice level with tofu well cooked but then chunks of the curry powder with heavy turmeric were not cooked in so landed heavy in the mouth. The combination of the three dishes as one would expect was disappointing. Dishes seemed to be rushed out of the kitchen before ending service for the night. I think unfortunately the service was the most disappointing. Had they been slightly more understanding I would have not been inclined to leave this review. However, there was instant dismissal of our disappointment with our food with an assumption that we just didn't want to pay for the meal, which was far from the truth. Would definitely not return here and would not recommend this restaurant. I am saddened to hear that this is touted as one of the better Thai restaurants in Bend. If only fellow travelers and the great people of Bend knew.

Got a quick pic before the next group was seated. Cute decor.
