My move involved loading a truck with my stuff, driving the truck to a uhaul warehouse, and loading one of those pods for long distance moves. My movers Barry and Troy were AMAZING. So kind with positive energy. They did a fantastic job getting all my stuff wrapped and into the truck quickly. They treated my items with respect and care. When we got to the uhaul warehouse, they worked very quickly to unload everything into the pod perfectly!! They made it all fit! I'm so grateful for their help. I recently used Anytime for my move in the city and I was extremely pleased with their service. I was set up for an early afternoon move, but their crew was so fast in their previous job they were able to get to my place several hours early. It was great because we got the move finished much sooner than I anticipated. The moving crew was friendly, professional, and knocked the whole process out in about the time it would have taken me to move a car load of stuff. The movers showed up on time and ready to start! I moved from a 1 bedroom apt to a single family house. I had them move everything into the basement and sunroom because my wood floors weren't done yet. They stacked everything so neatly. I had a huge sofa and chair that needed to go into the basement but I didn't think they would fit through the narrow doors. Boy was I wrong! The movers did their thing and managed to get them in with zero damage and i was so pleased!! The guys were very professional and personable. I highly recommend this moving company!! We hired Anytime Movers to load a moving truck for an out-of-state move in mid-January 2022, and I was extremely happy with their services. I would definitely hire them again. The movers - I think the names of two of the movers were Shaka and Kelvin - were very professional and had great attitudes. They also wore their masks the whole time they were inside our apartment. They were diligent and steadily worked the entire move. What I appreciated the most was how careful and conscientious they were in packing our boxes and items into the truck in a way to prevent damage to our items, aware that our belongings would be traveling for hundreds of miles across the country and needed to be secure to prevent damage. We had a number of large plants that needed to be loaded, and they did a great job of using plastic wrap to prevent harm to the plants. We also had a large painting that means a lot to me, and when I told that to one of the movers, he took a lot of care in very carefully wrapping it to prevent damage. The pricing was very reasonable as well in comparison to other companies in the area. There was also an issue with the move - two movers showed up when we had requested three - but their customer service resolved the issue promptly. A third mover showed up within an hour and they immediately offered to adjust the price to account for this. I was very happy that they were very responsive in immediately addressing the issue and fair with adjusting the cost of the move. I would highly recommend this moving company. read more

Amazing moving service! I had a different moving service cancel on me the day of. Anytime movers was super responsive and able to schedule me for a move that same afternoon. They didn't charge me any extra for a day of move and had very competitive rates. The movers were very friendly and extremely efficient. GREAT moving company!!!! I used A Anytime Movers just a few weeks ago to move from Washington, DC to my new place in Arlington, VA. I do not have enough great things to say about this company. They were easy to book, really great price and even better the day of! It was a three team crew (Chaka-the lead, Calvin and Andrew) and they all were excellent. I had noted in some emails before the move that I had very precious artwork and a brand new TV that I wanted extra special attention to- and they did just that. I had wrapped all of my artwork, but they double wrapped them all! They shrink-wrapped all items before using furniture pads as I asked and did a wonderful and quick job taking apart my bed- then putting it back together! I recently moved into a new apartment and needed to pick up items from one apartment and a storage unit and drop off to the ultimate destination. The movers were a little late arriving the morning of, but I did receive a text message. Upon arrival, I was very impressed with the service. They navigated a giant moving truck through a tiny alley, and three movers proceeded to rapidly handled my move. Maybe my expectations were too low, but this trio were in and out at least an hour or more quicker than I expected. They were friendly, efficient, and nothing broke. Anytime had good rates, and that's what attracted me to them (and the 5 star rating they had here). The truck showed up at 9AM on the dot! There was a car parked in the truck's way that didn't move, but the guys were really nice about it and worked around the parked car. I would recommend this company anytime. They were professional, efficient and thorough. I couldn't believe how hard they worked. Our move was successful because of these guys. They wrapped all of our furniture so it wouldn't break and so the walls wouldn't get scratched. Nothing was broken, nothing even nicked. Next time I'll hire them to pack me up and unpack me. I would trust them with heirlooms and china. They showed up on time, and finished within 30 minutes of what they expected...probably moving from one story to 4 caused the delay. I used Anytime Movers this week to move from a 1 bedroom apartment to a storage unit 15 minutes away. Anytime Movers were great - I had to change my location last minute from another apartment to a storage unit and they handled it no problem and showed up with the appropriate materials to wrap all of my furniture before it went into storage. The move took longer than quoted (3.5 hours compared to the quoted 2), but that's likely because the time to wrap things to go to storage and drive to the storage unit was not originally included in the quote. The only thing that could be improved was that the movers showed up and started to unload the truck while not wearing their masks; however, they did put them on and leave them on the rest of the time once I mentioned it. read more

We looked at 5+ companies for our move of our 1bed + den 6 miles away to our new home. Anytime's quote was by far the lowest and the reviews were good. They confirmed right away and had a good chart to fill out to make sure our quote was accurate. They showed up on time and were efficient, even while navigating a very slow elevator. They got everything in the house in about an hour and 15 min and even moved a couch the prior owners had left behind and a very heavy grill that we had only gotten as far as inside the door ourselves. Very fast responses via email and excellent communication from their office. I had a morning move, and the movers arrived early. They were very efficient and it was clear that they've done this many times before. They put protective wrap and padding on all the furniture that needed it. When the movers arrived at the destination, some other unauthorized truck was occupying the loading dock that I had booked, so the movers worked with the apartment management to deal with the situation on my behalf. The first time I hired Anytime Movers was back in early 2017. The moving itself was not very smooth, but I gave them 5 stars because of the customer service experience I had got after complaining about a couple of incidents. Chris went above and beyond to make sure our experience become an exceptional one. So last November, when we were planning to move again, I called Chris without shopping around. He promised to send me his best team and making sure this time I will get a superb service. Which I did indeed. The team was professional, polite and fast. Whole moving from Kensington to Gaithersburg took less than 3 hours considering we had 3 bedrooms and lots of outdoor stuff. I initially asked for a truck and 3 movers, but Chris sent 2 trucks with 4 staff which made the process whole easier and faster. He did not charge me for that extra truck and staff, in fact, offered me a $50 discount which I did not ask for. So, here it is, my second 5 star for Anytime Movers. Like everybody else, after any moving, I tell myself that "I am not gonna do this at least for next 10 years", (so far happened every 2 years over last 10 years), but if this is meant to be my bi-annual routine, at least I can be assured of having a reliable moving company around the corner. read more

The movers went above and beyond to get my sleeper sofa in this very very small space of a townhouse. My lease is 10 months and if it can be shorter I will be contacting you guys for our next move. We have more stuff sorry but i know you guys can handle it. I also saved by using the Yelp coupon paying $40 for a $55 savings. I always check Yelp before I do anything major. Moving is generally horrible, but if you want a smooth experience go with A Anytime Movers! I researched TONS of different companies and even got multiple quotes - this one was the most affordable, provided both an hourly estimate and an in-home flat rate estimate, is licensed/insured, and had all the equipment we needed! It's a professional service and even offers packing supplies beforehand if you need (which we unfortunately didn't use but should have, paid 3x as much for boxes & bubble wrap at a home improvement store - and they deliver!). They even supplied wardrobe boxes (for purchase or rent) the day of our move so I didn't have to pack up the closets! And of course, the best part - the gentlemen that provided our moving services were super professional, polite, and unbelievably hard and fast working. They did such an awesome job. They were there early, packed up quicker then I thought, and wasted no time with the unloading either! They dismantled our ikea bed and bookshelves, and packed everything up so well that needed it, like our flat-screen TV. Not a single scratch on anything. Had all the equipment needed. If you feel like you need to do a ton of research and get multiple quotes, I understand. BUT -- consider saving your time, because I did it for you, and this IS the best moving company in DC. The movers were covid complaint, beyond helpful even taking spare boxes and materials to the trash and offering advice for a tight space to maximize. They were so friendly and helpful. I was moving out of my house after having lived their for 3 years and taking all of my stuff to store in a garage about 6 miles away while I am in between homes - A Anytime Movers made this incredibly easy. I booked through Yelp and Sonja - the customer service agent - was quick to respond with availability and an estimate for how much my move would cost - about half of what I had gotten from other local moving companies. I had all of the boxes packed ahead of time, but they wrapped all my larger furniture to prevent damage. Hi again! I just had to write an updated review. If I could give 100 stars I would!! This time I moved my items from a storage unit to my "forever home" and let's just say I was and still am AMAZED!! So after writing the first review I sent an email to Shanise asking for availability for my final move. I get a call from Chris, who I later found out was the owner. Chris is extremely professional and really cares about you as a customer and your overall satisfaction. I noted that I needed to move around Easter weekend, but he only had availability on Thursday. I agreed and expressed that I had to go to work the next day and with a window of 2-4pm, I didn't want to spend all night moving my items. When Chris mentioned taking care of me, he definitely delivered! Chris sent three of the fastest movers I'd ever seen!! LOL The three young men cleaned my entire 10 x 15 ft storage unit in 30 minutes. Not only that, they unpacked the truck, placed all items in my home, setup my bed, placed my dresser and unwrapped all items that included padding in 45 minutes. They also protected my hardwood floors and wore booties as I just had my carpets cleaned. I've since unpacked all of my glass, mirrors and fragile items and not one item was scratched, chipped or broken. LOL, these guys made moving EASY!! Not only were these guys AMAZING at their jobs, but they were SUPER professional, friendly, good company and didn't mind me talking their ears off the whole time. Very impressed and grateful for Anytime Movers. I had them load a pod for a cross country move and was so impressed that upon my pod's arrival to the west coast, nothing shifted whatsoever during the long journey. It was truly packed perfectly. After having my pod unloaded and inspecting all of my things on my own, including the furniture and boxes, nothing was damaged or broken which was an ENORMOUS relief since that was my biggest fear during this very long distance move. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because I had an issue with the movers but when I reached out to management, they were prompt in getting back to me and incredibly apologetic, courteous and professional throughout in trying to rectify the problem, which they did. These guys were fantastic. Super responsive customer service from start to finish, starting with Shanise, my move coordinator, who was so quick to answer my questions and very up front about any additional charges, etc. I just really appreciated how transparent they were about all fees and expenses associated with the moving process, and I feel they go out of their way to make sure that the customer has no surprises when it comes time to pay the bill. Our moving team the day of were great - super friendly, professional and PROMPT. They were very careful with all of our furniture, etc. One of my dresser drawer handles accidentally fell off during the move, and our guy searched the packing materials in the truck at the end of the move to find it, and we were able to recover it. They just made the stressful and daunting experience that can be having to move apartments easier and worry-free, and my roommate and I were so grateful for that. At the end of the move, they laid out exactly what we were being charged for, and there were absolutely no surprises...I think that was my biggest concern, it being my first time hiring movers as an adult. I spoke with Chris the next day who is so pleasant and friendly about my experience. Wow! Our four-man crew worked super fast! They completed our move (two different apartments into one townhouse) in 3 hours. This move was full of stairs and lots of bulky items, yet they were very efficient. They broke down and rebuilt all our furniture (which did not cost anything extra). After some research for DC movers, we decided on A Anytime Movers. The initial response to my pricing inquiry was fast, it was complete and laid out the rates and charges, and the booking process was simple. We booked our move for an afternoon slot, and I was told the movers would arrive between 2 and 4 p.m., depending upon the morning's move. Well, they arrived at 2:15, right on time. The movers worked quickly but safely, wrapping our furniture in pads and plastic to ensure safe transport. We have a 1-bedroom apartment, and they loaded, drove (just a few blocks) and unloaded in less than two hours. We also had some jerks who didn't move their cars from in front of the emergency no parking signs. The guys never complained and got right to work, working around the inconvenient cars. They didn't let this slow them down. Also, I missed the Yelp voucher deal, and even after the fact they offered us a credit on our card.
