Expectations were high with the Oceanaire connections and great space. Multiple menus online were confusing but the actual restaurant site is unfortunately the accurate and limited one.
Everything about our dinner was just "meh". Oysters were good but pomegranate minionette was weirdly sweet sauce. Octopus was cooked well but overall dish was lacking. Crudo's just didn't have elevated flavor. "Lump" crab cake was far from...shredded crab and extra filler with boring sauce.
Party of 12 covered most of the mains and none impressed. Miso fish, salmon, filet, strip, all underwhelmed and missed the mark for one reason or another.
Tried all sides and lobster rice was good but rest fell flat.
Desserts were also fine but again nothing to return for. Even house wine selections fell behind the most basic local choices...
Near empty restaurant for a Friday, 150% cost compared with other steakhouse/fish options in town, and across the board poor execution on nearly every dish. It was a fine meal with fine service but WAY overpriced to value compared to other hi-end TC restaurants.
