Situated on the roof top of the Meridian Hotel, this is a great place to hang out with friends and relax after a day out. The team working here are all very friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Great view of the Colorado Rockies too (weather permitting). We tried several drinks from the classic but elevated old fashion to the more elaborate drinks Inspired by the Colorado mountains and Denver. His drinks are master pieces. Very Balanced, no overly sweet or overwhelmed by one note or just pure liquor( Don't get me wrong you get your moneys worth)., but the right amount of every ingredient . 10/10. Highest rooftop in Denver, this spot sits on the top floor of Le Meridien. Stopped by twice during my hotel stay and it was cute and vibey. Small bites offered and it gets busy so expect to wait a bit. But still very worth it for the vibes and views alone! read more

Great place to grab drinks and soak in the view! The bartender made a bespoke mocktail for my wife and she loved it. It was a really cute bar & the views were great however when you get to the hotel, you check in & they make you wait to go upstairs & when you get up there that's when you have to find your own seating which is kind of weird because they make you wait downstairs even though it's first come first served. No they don't take rsvp & the drinks were honestly not that bad! I got a pina colada drink that was frozen and was super delicious! We went to get some nice shots but the place was really over priced and the drinks had more ice than anything else. It's on the smaller size but the fire pits are a nice touch. A drink we cost you $16+. Hot chocolate was $15!! No way. We both got drinks and it was $36 with tax, not including tax. I'm not cheap but I think the glass needs to atleast be a bit bigger for a drink to cost me that much. I had the hibiscus one and it was good. Jordan is an awesome server and team member, he really went above and beyond to ensure a positive customer experience. Arrived around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon dodging thunderstorms around Denver. Was promptly greeted and sat in a pair of large cozy grey chairs. Views are abundant in Denver's tallest rooftop bar. I ordered the Palisade Mule which was tasty but the Cold Brew really was a step above. Enjoyed sitting and enjoying the weather, and the company of some folks who sat across from us. It was a low key afternoon to enjoy some cocktails and the view before it got crowded and loud as it does on the weekends. Need to know: there are heaters above the seating arrangements and fire pits for heat if needed. Just ask the servers who are happy to assist! Light snacks are served but I wouldn't come super hungry especially if you're hitting the shots or cocktails hard. Attire: mid afternoon is pretty casual but after about 6pm, dispense with the athleisure and dress smartly. Good views, good vibes, good drinks. Mid afternoon is great for groups and later in the day (around sunset) would be good for a date. Enjoy your visit! read more

Qualified statement: I have zero need for pretentious establishments that move my party around because they "think" someone more important is coming. The college boys that were mistaken for NFL players over the phone should not have bumped my people, regardless. There are beautiful views and great drinks around town that treat all patrons well. Went here a few years ago and absolutely loved it, so when we were in the area for a date night, looking for a post dinner drink, naturally, I threw it out as an option. Wait time to get on the roof was 15 minutes- no big deal.. but when we were sent up to the roof, it was.. empty? And in spite of there being NO ONE THERE on this particular Wednesday night, the hostess then asks who we are and says we aren't able to get in. We tell her that the guy downstairs had literally JUST sent us up, and she scrambles to check her tablet or whatever and then just wandered off. So weird. I am from Chicago and familiar with the whole "there's a line" concept that businesses use, but this is Denver and we all know the covid capacity limits aren't even a thing anymore.. so why was there a wait time at all?? We took the hostess wandering off as indication that it was probably fine to venture forward to this nearly empty rooftop.. and I go to the bar to order the drink I had gotten last time (a maple old fashioned) that I loved and then went for another one with honey and bourbon that looked nice. Bartender makes one drink and then gives us the other cocktail from a tap.. and I am super confused. Like is this drink ordered so much that they had it on tap?? No idea, but it wasn't good at all and I didn't drink it. Other drink that I got for my partner was still delicious, but left me with the additional wonderment of if I just lucked out on my last visit and ordered the best drink on their menu. View was fine.. fires and ambiance was very cozy. Overall, I was way less impressed than my last visit. Maybe this place is just quiet on weeknights.. but the energy on my last visit (pre-pandemic) was very different. Wow this place was seriously over hyped. I came here with two of my girlfriends as we wanted to go to a nice rooftop bar. However this was open seating and we couldn't find any table/chairs. We were not the only ones, many people were just standing around like hyenas staring people down for a seats/tables. Being the scavenger I was able to get two chairs to share between three girls. Also the 90 min rule was def not enforced! I wish it was nicer the feel and the ambiance was not nice gave me more a not nice and way way to many people feel. We got the drinks which were overpriced, the cold brew martini was delicious though. We also got a meat & cheese board, for 25$. I don't think it was worth it at all. Had finally made it out to my 4th rooftop bar. This one I was way too excited for but as most things we get excited for they are typically let downs. The area was vastly overcrowded and seating was very limited. They had an event going on that took up about half the space, so people were circling like vultures when trying to find a seat. There are no barstools at the bar but to be honest they probably wouldn't fit because of how small the bar area is and the need for walking space right behind. The food was good we had hummus and pita with a lemonade concoction the bartender hooked me up with. I don't know what it was but it was amazing, had about 4 of them. read more

Lovely view. Worth one drink. Service was spotty - both in attention and speed in delivering orders. Watch your check at the end of the evening. They add a 22% 'Open Check Service Charge' which seems counterintuitive. They should have explained that handing over my card would illicit a 22% charge on the total bill when I gave them my card. Otherwise I would have just paid for every round individually. Of course then there might have been a differently titled service charge. Denver establishments are really making it tough to enjoy a night out. We loved the view but won't be back and won't recommend it to visitors. Had a better time and view (albeit not an outside rooftop) at Peaks Lounge across the street at the Hyatt at the end of our evening out. read more

Electric rooftop bar with a nice view of the mountains and city and great drinks to cool off from a long workweek. They have a lot of seating, but they're also very popular so you'll want to head there somewhat early, unless you don't mind standing by the bar. You'll also want to check in with the cart downstairs, pictured below. They have an indoor section, firepit tables, and an outdoor section. They feature a lot of fun cocktails. I've tried the Elevated Old Fashioned, Red Rocks (especially good), Cold Brew Sunset, French54 (my favorite), and Summer Crush. Every drink was really good, only complaint is that the old fashioned is a little *too* sweet. The bartenders are very friendly and despite the bustle were quick to fill orders. Overall, great bar with great views and great drinks. I'll stop by again next time I'm in Denver! read more

We visited 54thirty, as it was recommended by our Lyft driver when he learned we were visiting from out of ton, so wanted to find a rooftop bar that had great views of Denver. He mentioned 54thirty as the number one spot in Denver for just that. Located in the Le Meridien hotel, once you enter the hotel there's a clear sign for the rooftop bar where an employee uses their key card in the elevator to get you up. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon. All of the seats were taken and the bar was crowded. But it's popular for a reason. We ordered a frose and found some space on the couch to share with all the others. The frose was good, as they use Tito's vodka. I also liked the lime with, adding some citrus flavor. The copper mug that it came in also helped to keep the frose frozen. They say this is where the best views of Denver are. You can see the mountains and the growing skyline with the surrounding skyscrapers. The ambiance is 50/50. Some peeps were dressed up while others had on NFL jerseys and jeans. I like that for how popular and trendy this rooftop bar is, the vibe is still chill, which is mostly what makes me a fan of 54thirty. Glad my friend and I checked it out while in the area. read more

My only qualm is that seating here is self-serve and it's definitely hard to find. Amazing experience! We came here for a night cap since it was right across the street from our hotel and we had been wanting to go all weekend. We were a little concerned walking into the hotel lobby as it said it was closed for the night due to capacity limits but we found our way up the elevator and had no problem getting in. I went here on a Saturday night and it was packed. There are many fire heaters with chairs, if you're lucky to find a space. From the rooftop bar, you can view Downtown Denver. Their drinks are on the pricier side, but I would say that I would recommend their Old Fashioned cocktails here. Tip: Check in downstairs to put your name in. I made the mistake of taking the elevator up with my friends, only to be turned away because we didn't check-in on the bottom floor, since we were not hotel guests. read more

Fun rooftop! I came here with some girlfriends for a night out. There aren't a lot of places like this in Denver, so I'll give it props for the great views & the unique nature of the space. However, the drinks are expensive and it felt clubby. The cocktails sounded unique on the menu, but the place was so crowded & busy, I could tell they weren't taking the time to artfully craft each one. Honestly, they were just "fine". Again, vibe is pretty clubby. Dark lighting, loud music. If that's you're thing, awesome. For me, there's a time & place for it... but that time & place is rare.
