If you're lucky and get a table, this is a pretty cool place with cool views. However, they let a lot of people up and you have to fight for a spot at which to sit and enjoy your drinks and food. The drinks were good, but nothing spectacular. Same with the food, it was a bit elevated but also rushed. Service was atrocious with tiny table stacked with dirty plates and glassware. And servers barely stopped by so if someone new appeared and wanted a drink or some food, it was a long wait.
On top of a luxury hotel is a fun rooftop bar. It has a wonderful view of the mountains, tasty snacks, and delightful drinks!
On the rooftop of Le Méridien hotel, 54thirty sits at 5,430 feet in downtown Denver. With excellent views of the city and the Rocky Mountains, it is a great place to grab a cocktail. Seating is first-come, first-served and is usually very busy. We were lucky to grab a small table on a lovely, sunny afternoon. 54thirty offers seasonal cocktails, but I was craving a slightly dirty vodka martini, so that was my drink of choice. Our server was friendly and kept checking in. On this day, they had brand ambassadors for Tito's Vodka/Vodka for Dog People. They were handing out merch for pets and making customized pet tags. We even got to pet some dogs in the hotel lobby that were up for adoption. Sadly, my pup is a one-person, one-dog kinda gal, but she did score some swag. Love that 54thirty provided such a fun opportunity, an amazing view, and a refreshing martini!
This bar is decent. The views are cool and the cocktails are good. The drinks are a bit pricey but for the views and ambiance, it's worth it. We also stayed in this hotel so it was convenient to check out. The service from the staff was nice as well.
54thirty is definitely a spot you go for the experience and views. The drinks are well made, but they are definitely on the expensive side. You're paying a little more for the rooftop atmosphere and the views of Denver. That being said, it's a fun place to bring people who are visiting or for a special occasion. The views are hard to beat, and it's a great spot to enjoy a drink while taking in the city. I wouldn't say it's an everyday bar for me because of the prices, but it's worth checking out for the rooftop experience.
Extremely busy. Don't plan on coming here after a concert at the Ball Arena (without a reservation) if you want a place to sit. However, the atmosphere is spectacular. Wonderful breeze on the rooftop and a good selection of wines + full bar. Casual, but nice attire. Note: their kitchen closes around 11pm on Saturdays. Great vibe but have a "plan B"/ backup bar picked out in advance.
Drinks Atmosphere Servers and Service Not too loud Not messy People come, have their drinks and dip. It's a good place to add to a bar hop.
Located on the rooftop of Le Meridien in downtown Denver. They have their own desk in the lobby where you can check in show your ID and then get sent up the elevator to the 20th floor. Great views of the mountains and Denver here. They had lots of blankets and heaters to make sure that everyone could stay warm even in the winter time. It took a while for someone to come to where we were sitting. We were about to go up to the bar and order when our server finally showed up. None of the drinks on their menu were speaking to me so I just got a classic cosmopolitan. Our server messed up my husband's order. He asked for a Manhattan and she brought back a rye whiskey on the rocks. I'd try out another rooftop bar before heading back here, but if someone has not been before I'd still tell them it's worth checking out.
54thirty Rooftop in downtown Denver delivers on both atmosphere and food. A refined perch atop Le Méridien Denver Downtown, 54thirty is Denver's highest open-air rooftop bar. Their focus is on unique, hand-crafted cocktails and globally inspired bites. Named for its elevation of 5,430 feet, 54thirty Rooftop Bar in Denver is at a whole new level. After 6pm, entry is restricted to guests 21 and over. The rooftop views are amazing, it is a great spot to relax, especially around sunset. The vibe is lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation. There is plenty of seating but it was crowded when we arrived but we were able to find some seats close to a fire pit to stay warm. They offer a menu of shareable bites with a global spin. We ordered the chips and guacamole made with avocado and fresh made tortilla chips. We split the braised short rib tacos with avocado, cojita and radish that came with three tacos per order. The steak tacos were very tender and plentiful with toppings. We also tried a variety of cocktails from their bar. Their winter drink menu that highlights warm and spiced cocktails, a curated wine bottle list, and a spectrum of Denver's favorite craft beers. I tried the mezcal hot chocolate that was served with toasted marshmallows on top. Also tried a peach mocktail and asked them to add mezcal. Both cocktails were elevated and hand crafted. Other people in my party tried the Elevated Old Fashioned with Brush creek strait bourbon, angostura amaro, dry curacao, honey. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly. It's a great spot for drinks with a view, light bites, or for a fun night on the town.
This rooftop bar is a great place to grab a drink with a view. There is cozy seating with fire pits. I went in January so it was chilly but they provided blankets. I got a hot drink which was a little on the sweet side for me but still enjoyable. I also got a small bite of grilled cheese a side soup which was enjoyable. The service was prompt and friendly. The view is the star for sure though.
Such a nice atmosphere and vibe. Chloe is the best! Great service and recommendations! She was also so attentive and never made us feel rushed! First time and can't wait to come back! The views are clearly incredible and they have plenty of fireplaces and heat lamps around bar to make it enjoyable to sit outside on the rooftop in any temperature! Drinks were excellent! Highly recommend if both local or a tourist in the area!
Loved the drinks. Prices are comparable to other options in the area and ambiance was great. Nicely lit at night with fire pits if the weather gets chilly. The chicken skewers were good as a snack and the server was nice and attentive. Definitely recommend!
I saw other reviews on Yelp showing how nice this place looked, and that really drew me here! It is located on the rooftop of the Meridian hotel. It was difficult to get up there since we weren't staying there and needed a room key to have the elevator move. Maybe there was a different way up and it was our error, but we had to stop at the 17th floor and walk the rest of the way up. We went at sunset, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I got tons of great pictures and had a great drink as well. I got the guava daiquiri, which was delicious, but expensive at $16, although that is what you can expect for such a nice place. My boyfriend had the elevated old fashioned, which he enjoyed. I noticed people with charcuterie boards as well, but we did not eat anything. Nice place for relaxing and socializing.

Jill, thank you for sharing this — we’re genuinely sorry for how this…
I had many questions about this place. Where was it? Was the food good? How big was it? Was there an inside? How fancy? If you're like me and have a lot of questions -- I'm here to answer them. 54Thirty is at the rooftop of the Le Meridian hotel in downtown. We paid to park next to the bubba gump -- so worth it for the short walk. You walk inside a fancy hotel sort of lobby. There's a seating area and a check in counter and a restaurant and a seemingly busy entry - and then someone tells you to stand over "there" for the bar. We make our way to the hostesses who take our names and inform of us the 45 min wait. We walked around the town - no complaints over here. When it was our time we promptly hoped on the elevator that took us to the bar. It was pretty crowded and we immediately knew we were going to have a hard time finding seats. Nonetheless we ordered our drinks. I had the aperol spritz, not memorable but still tasty! There was food being passed around and people sort of waiting on you. The staff was so nice and we're great at their job. However, I wished they had sat you at an area upon entrance. Especially because it feels so much like an almost restaurant, the fact that you have to poke around for seating felt a bit odd. All in all, a nice place for a drink with a view. I imagine this place is lovely in the morning if you take baileys with your coffee. I would come back during an off hour to really enjoy the space! read more
Such a cute rooftop bar! I've been wanting to come here for over a year now and I finally was able to bring one of my friends from out of town here! 54thirty is on the 20th floor roof of the Le Meridien hotel. There are signs in the hotel that made it easy for me to locate the bar and the staff was super friendly and directed us right to the elevators. The bar is a first come first serve with seating. There were lounge chairs as well as high top tables that were available for anyone to sit at. It was pretty crowded for a Sunday evening but we were lucky enough to find a high top to sit at. My friend and I both got the chi chi which was a frozen mixed drink and it was very tasty! The bar had beautiful views of the mountains which is why it's so popular. Overall I would come back again on a Sunday night or maybe a weeknight but not on a Friday or Saturday because I've heard it gets super packed. read more

Nice ambiance but the service is lacking. The bar was slow, the servers never came to me when I was sitting, it left a lot to be desired. I may give it another shot during my trip but not too sure yet. read more

This is a trendy, fun rooftop bar with a loungey feeling. They play loud edm music that I liked. The views are gorgeous, the atmosphere is fun and laid back. There's a mixed bag of people that go - young and older. Some people hearsay wear anything and others wear a hat and sweats. We ordered a bottle of Moet for $88, which I thought was affordable. Seating is first come first serve. We didn't order food, but it didn't look that great. Their drinks looked delicious. read more

Wow! I am very happy I bookmarked this place in advance! I'm staying at the Hyatt and it's conveniently located across the street inside the Le Meridien hotel. We came in after attending the CBC welcome reception at the nearby convention center. We waited about 15 minutes but it was totally worth it. Located on the 20th floor of the Le Meridien, I loved the view of the city and the mountains. Though it is a little smokey right now, the view was still very awesome. I had a Red Rocks cocktail, which consisted of vodka, aperol, lemons, and bubbles. This cocktail was the best one I've had during my stay in Denver so far. It was so good that I had two of them. Originally, I wanted a frozen lemonade, but unfortunately they were all out of drinks that were frozen related. Still, five stars. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the nice views and the awesome drinks. read more

The view was beautiful. The reason I give this place 3 stars was due to service. First of all the bartenders were really helpful and nice. We got up there and they told us its first come first serve and there was no where to sit so we were standing the whole time. Which normally I wouldn't mind but since I took my parents with us it was a little uncomfortable for them. We finally got seats and we ordered some apps. The food tasted pretty good however I got up to take a photo and my dad said a server came and took our food and drinks which we weren't done with and that made us pretty disappointed. The server didn't even ask if we were done they just took it. It wasn't out initial server because our server was great the whole time. The drinks were alright they werent anything to special but they werent bad either. Im glad I came and got to see the views but I dont know if it is worth coming back to. read more
Love this place! Drinks are good, the view is nice, and it is affordable (compared to bay area prices!) Add your name to the list inside the hotel lobby. There is a cart with someone there. They will take you up to the rooftop. Once there, you get a view of the mountains in the background. Ordered their Mez Tai meets the Sky and the Peppered Paloma for our first round. I really enjoyed both. The Mez Tai was unique with the passion fruit foam. For our second round, we got another Mez Tai meets the Sky and the Hibiscus Margarita. My boyfriend also tried their Elevated Old Fashion. I'm a huge fan of passion fruit, therefore my favorite was the Mez Tai meets the Sky. All the drinks were delicious though and very affordable! Definitely will be back to enjoy more drinks and the view, especially at night time since we went during the day and it was hottttttttt. At least there were several areas that had shade. read more
Want to dress us and feel like you're on top of the world in the new big city. Go here, the espresso Martini is the best here I think maybe in all of Denver. The service is quick and snappy and the bartender are all competent don't wait for your drink to come to you go and get it at the bar! Bring friends. Have fun. Get a bike ride through the city after if you're going at night! read more

Located on the rooftop of Le Meridien, 54thirty is the perfect spot to enjoy amazing views and vibes. We came here on the first night of our stay at the hotel for drinks and it was awesome. They do not take reservations, so on a nice day plan for the wait to be a bit long. There is a hostess stand at the lobby of the hotel where you can put your name on the list to be seated. We waited about an hour on a Friday around 4 pm for a party of 4. OK now on to the good stuff. Ashley was our server and we LOVED her as much as she loves Bad Bunny. She was awesome, attentive, gave good drink recs and friendly service. We opted for a meat and cheese plate which came with Texas toast that was divine and also got an order of guac. We were all drinking the City Peaks cocktail which I first tried in the lobby. It has gin, honey, lemon, blackberry and bubbles. I will say that the lobby version was better as the ones at 54thirty seemed like maybe the bubbles were a bit flat but I was so happy to be on vacation that it didn't bother me! If you are visiting Denver I would definitely add this to your list of places to see. I'd suggest arriving a bit before sunset to put your name on the waitlist and enjoy some gorgeous views with a side of cocktails and conversation. read more

When visiting Denver recently some family suggested that we go to this spot for some afternoon drinks and appetizers. This place was AWESOME! It was a beautiful day in Denver the sun was shining and it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We got to try numerous holiday cocktails and we each ordered food items to share. I wish I knew our servers name because she was SPOT ON with everything she recommended. Even when I was questioning it I trusted her and it was always amazing. If I lived here this would be a total go to spot with the stunning views and incredible food and drink there's not much more you could ask for read more
Drinks were all delicious! My friends and I tried the froze, cherry limeade, and cold brew martinis. We enjoyed them all. A bit on the pricier side but usual I feel like for nice mixed cocktails these days. Appetizers were tasty but nothing extraordinary. View was nice as the sun set. Quick and attentive service. Seating is first come, first serve and once it got closer to sunset, it did start to get crowded and there were a lot of people standing around. read more

Loved the views! Loved the atmosphere! Loved the drinks! I would love to come here again the next time I come to Denver. This was a short but great stop to our girls trip weekend. Giving 4 stars because service was awesome but they could use more bartenders and we had to clear our own table. It's first come first serve. Disclaimer: I visited this location 1/2022 read more
Great ambience and drinks! Came in on a Saturday night and was put on the waitlist for about 15 minutes. Once they were ready the hostess let me up to the rooftop bar and informed me that seats were first come first serve. When i got to the top i was able to find a seat with a front view of the city skyline. The lady seated next to me also graciously gave me one of her blankets (they also offer blankets upon request) i ordered a lemon drop with tequila and it was soo good i enjoyed my drink and the views on one of there cozy chairs under the blanket as the temperature began to drop. Overall it was such a vibe. Definitely recommend checking this place out. read more
Kevin and the team were a lot of fun. The girls and I stopped in on a Saturday evening. There were other patrons hanging out by the fireplace as we walked up to the bar to order our drinks. As recommended by our awesome bartender, I ended up trying the Cincoro Anejo -- and while pricey, it was smooth and a perfect drink to end the night. Because of the weather conditions, the rooftop bar was closed off. This spot is known for the breathtaking rooftop views so we asked if we could check it out -- even if it were just for a few minutes. Kevin agreed and we were escorted by another staff member to the rooftop bar -- magnificent. I can only imagine how much we would've enjoyed hanging out while soaking in the gorgeous lights of the city. I bet it looks spectacular during the day also. Nonetheless, my girls and I had a great time. If we're ever in the area again -- 54thirty would make it to the top of our list of places to hit up for a great night out! Kudos to the entire team for making a great first impression and for the excellent hospitality. read more

I was staying at Le Meridien for a work trip and visited 54thirty twice, once with a smaller group and another time with a large group as a happy hour after a conference downstairs. On both visits, I really enjoyed my drinks and thought they were well-made. The view is beautiful, and you can easily enjoy the space in all seasons. With the firepits and heaters, it was very comfortable, even on a cold winter night. There is no seating at the bar, so you can go up and order and stand there or get your drink and go elsewhere. There are some tables and lots of small areas with couches, chairs, and firepits, which have table service. The bartenders are friendly and at the couches the first night the server was attentive, though the drink service was a little slow. This is a great space for groups of all sizes to get together, or getting a drink with a date or friend. The drinks were a bit pricey, but is to be expected in Denver and at a rooftop bar such as this one. Just a warning to groups- if you go with a group and do table service, they can only split the tab between max two cards and prefer it on one (or can charge it to a room downstairs). If you go with a larger group and want to pay separately, definitely order at the bar. The food menu sounds good, but I unfortunately did not get a chance to try any. If you're staying at Le Meridien or in the area and want to visit a fun rooftop bar, definitely check this place out! read more

Loved this rooftop, we came here twice on our visit. The drinks were delicious and the service was great. It can be hard to find a place to sit because it's busy, but we were patient and eventually got places to sit. We tried several different drinks, including verano corazon old fashion, cold brew sunset, m+m, guava daiquiri, red rocks, and margarita over our visits. All were delicious. We will definitely return next time we are in Denver. read more

During our staycation at Le Méridien Denver, we had a nightcap at Le Méridien's rooftop bar, 54thirty. 54thirty is Denver's highest open-air rooftop bar. 54thirty welcomes guests on a first-come, first-serve basis and guests can be put on the wait list via the 54thirty host in the lobby of Le Meridien Hotel. We arrived at 54thirty and were seated out on the balcony in the open-air lounge. 54thirty was a vibe - the music was bumping (GOOD music), drinks were flowing and guests were having a blast. There were panoramic views of the mountains and grey patio chairs for us to kick back & relax in. The hostess Maria & our serve Brittany were dolls; both of them made sure we had everything we needed during our time at 54thirty. The place was super busy and Brittany was taking care of all of her tables with a smile & speedy service. We started off our night with Craft Cocktails. I had the Hibiscus Sunrise and the Rooftop Garden. The Hibiscus Sunrise is made with tequila, hibiscus reduction, lemon & orange essence. This cocktail had a floral essence from the hibiscus that sat soft on the tongue while the citrus of the lemon & orange essence brought acidity and tartness to the drink. This was a refreshing cocktail over all. The Rooftop Garden is made with gunpowder gin, genepi, matcha, lime & celery shrub. I really liked this sophisticated cocktail. The gunpowder gin was thick on the palate with herbaceous flavor notes while a touch of unexpected savory brine was brought on from the celery shrub (it lingered on the tongue). For Savory Shares we had the Wagyu Short Rib Tacos and the Guacamole & Chips. The Wagyu Short Rib Tacos are made with ancho chile, pickled onion, & cotija. Talk about a boujee taco, these were amazing. The shredded wagyu short rib meat was rich in flavor. The cool cotija cheese highlighted the meatiness of the juicy, seasoned wagyu. The Guacamole & Chips are served with House ancho-chili salsa (we added queso to our chips order). For Sweet Shares we had the Key Lime Pie. The Key Lime Pie had a cold, creamy filling & a crumbly graham cracker crust; the perfect summer night treat. read more
