I would recommend this business with some cautions. First, let me say the end product came out well. The installers did a very good job and picked up all debris prior to departure. In looking for new floors for about 1500 sf of space, we looked at reviews regarding our different options in our area. When we settled on 50 Floors, they had a representative come out and show us various materials. I think she was very knowledgeable and listened to our needs. Especially the fact that we have 4 dogs that own the house/floors. We settled on a vinyl floor. I don't think the samples were a clear representation of what we got. The samples are on some hardback backing and the actual material is thin. Our material removed was more thicker and now the vinyl appears as if we are walking on an actual cement floor. The scheduling went well and the installers arrived on time. Installation began Monday the 19th of December. That first day, the installer told me, that he doubted there was enough material because lots of it was damaged. I asked if he had shared this with his office and he said yes. Fortunately, the first day was really about removing the existing laminate and tile. That was lots of work in itself. I was expecting everything to be covered, but they did not cover fully. We have lots of bookshelves. We did lots of prep work ourselves removing all our art work and major electronics to ensure there was no accidents. When all was said and done, there was major clean up. And strongly recommend for homeowners to check there HVAC filters. On the second day as the install went as far as it could, the installer confirmed he had reached the end based on damaged product. He suggested I call the office and advise since they were not paying attention to him. I spoke to the office and they acted as if this was the first heard. Now they had to order and it was a few days before Christmas. I explained they had to do what they had to do because we had family coming over for the holidays and could not have bare floors. Fortunately we had a good install team that managed to work with some of the material and get things done enough so all we had to do is close off one area until the new material came. The material came a couple of weeks later. It was installed. We had found a few things that needed attention and they got on them. Again installation with right material went well. They gave us two extra boxes, as most flooring normally does. They were closed, but I noted the other day as I was putting it away that pieces fell out, so I suspect it is some of the damaged material. I can't say where the material damage went wrong, but I can advise that the quality assurance of product MUST be checked before scheduling with a customer. And I suggest bigger pieces be provided during demonstration so customer can have an actual look of the material they are getting. And perhaps tell them that the samples are on backings that are just to demo, the material is not actually that thick. My cautions to prospective Customers: - Consider 50 Floors - a good option. - Look and understand the material you have choosen. - Verify with Customer Service that all material is available and has been checked for quality. - Hope you get a good install team as I did - don't hesitate to give them a punch list of any findings you are not happy with. A good team such as the ones we had will take pride and ensure you are satisfied.

50 Floors delivered!! Came out on Tues with flooring samples and I chose my flooring for two (2) bedrooms and closets. Installation was for Thurs but Installers called Tues afternoon to see if they could install Wednesday--next day!!! Installers, Alex and Jose, arrived at 1pm and were done in three (3) hours. They moved furniture out, pulled old carpets and installed new carpets and put furniture back in rooms. All within 3 hours. I was amazed, thrilled and very pleased with their courteous, professional performance. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend 50 Floors and their installers, Alex and Jose. Good job guys!!!

We visited several locations, but this place was already following a mask-on policy (COVID time... yay) and offered a large variety of flooring options. In my tour around Austin, I not only noticed how many different businesses were not following any kind of norms in regards to social distancing and masks which concerned me. The moment I step into their showroom we were greeted by Todd. He was kind, funny and honest. I remember that I called earlier and he asked me to come by the showroom and I was horrified to leave the house. Visiting the store felt safe and I do not even buy groceries at the store now... so that says a lot. Once I chose my color, we got our estimates. Everything looked on schedule until I changed my mind about the color of the floor (I blame the color deal on the pregnancy because I am not insecure in those types of decisions). I remember how I called Rhonda about to cry because I changed my mind. We needed to keep the timeline because of the baby and things in Austin were just getting worst with COVID. I can share with you that they made my floors happen in the original timeline. I am not sure how it happened, but they made it all work and I am now very in love with my floors. The installation crew was very polite and fast. The installation had a lot of attention to detail and the work was neat and clean. I can tell you that I felt safe in every step of the process and they were A+. I am already making plans for the future and they will be in those plans. This company rocks and please do not hesitate to use them.

I worked with Cody Dorris for some flooring I ordered over $5500.00 worth of product…read more Before ordering I was told the items would arrive the next day if ordered before 3PM. So, it was ordered in the early AM well the next day nothing, the 2nd day nothing. Finally, the order came in and moved to the install location. Boxes were inspected and damaged items came from the warehouse. The warehouse just taped up the boxes and sent them out anyway with damaged product. To top that all off the Pflugerville office would only refund a complete box and not the individual planks (yes, the charged me for damaged product) As far as Cody Dorris, seemed like he would say (lie) anything to make the sale. Also, the order was not delivered 100% 18 days later still no answer form the warehouse as to the remaining order, nor will they refund the for the late product. NOTE make sure you order what you need and not over order, they do not refund the returns. This is not my go-to store, I found better service and product elsewhere.

Bellus Flooring

I hired Bellus to install vinyl flooring over my tile about a year ago. I love the Kardean product…read moreI bought from them. It's really easy to maintain, resists water and normal wear with proper upkeep. While I liked my salesperson, the rest of the experience bordered on surreal. The first and second days I had a crew of about 12 people working in my house for about 14 hours each day. The crew left the second day and reported they were done. However, they had damaged my flooring during the install in several places, improperly installed bowed molding in a few more, had inconsistent molding cuts in the doorways, among other installation issues. I've included just a few pictures to highlight their work. There were many instances of each example. I think I had them out 4 times to replace flooring the installers damaged and fix improperly installed molding. There are other smaller issues I won't go into detail about that revolve around excessive use of caulk and not cleaning up after themselves. The salesperson asked me to write lists of what I needed addressed, which I did, several more times over a week or so. One of the things that was a challenge for me was knowing what the new flooring should look like and dealing with installers who had mysogenistic attitudes towards a female when I'd correct their work, as the salesperson asked me to do. They even had the audacity to curse me in Spanish, thinking I wouldn't know the word they were using. I was dismayed to find such a lack of support from the company's representatives, and the lack of respect and workmanship of their installers. We eventually got the flooring done. I decided I preferred to have a few issues I had to fix myself rather than have their workers in my house again. I was also tired of having to clean up after their workers. Every time they came into my house I had to dust, vacume, and mop. It was comical watching them trying to vacume the carpets in an adjacent room with a vacume cleaner that was overfilled with dust from another job. The workers didn't bother to try and contain the mess, even when I provided plastic sheeting to them. I provided them a bill for the services I'd provided that they'd promised and not provided, and was compensated. I wouldn't say don't use this company, they offer very competitive rates. If you don't live in the building they're working on, they'd probably do fine. If you don't mind having to do reiterative quality checks, great. If you're planning on doing your own clean up, even better. If you're one of the people who's moved here from the NE, you'll enjoy the opportunity to get into heated arguments with the installers every day.

TOWN SQUARE FLOORS. - LAWSUIT We contracted with Town Square…read moreFloors in Georgetown, Texas to install tile on our patio and front porch. About 2 years later we discovered dozens of loose and some broken tiles. Mr Bizzell (owner) came out this one and only time and tried to convince us that the ice storm was the cause. Being naive we originally accepted this, later discovering that this was not true. Over the next couple of years the problem got much worse. Tiles on the steps leading to the front door and back door came loose and broke. A painter stepped on another edge tile and it broke and caused him to take a painful fall. During this time my wife underwent several serious surgeries each requiring a wheelchair, walker or cane. It was far too risky for her to use either the front or back door as she would have had to walk across all the loose and broken tiles, then step off where the tiles were completely loose and broken. We live in Sun City, and her senior friends were apprehensive about coming over to visit and assist her during rehab. As the tile and health issues continued to deteriorate we both called Mr Bizzell numerous times seeking help. He refused every time. Our last call was from my wife while she was using a walker, and Mr Bizzell refused to even talk to her. We then gave him written notice of the hazard and he still failed to respond. Reluctantly we went to Small Claims Court. Mr Bizzell employed a Legal Firm dealing in Construction Law. Despite the huge disparity in legal expertise facts are facts. The Judge ruled against Town Square Floors and awarded me 100% of the repairs and 100% of my court costs. As of this Review, Town Square Floors has ignored our request to honor the judges decision, and continue to blow us off as they have from the very beginning. It makes us wonder how a company that is so clearly responsible (and confirmed by the Judge) for the defect has no problem, just walking away and leaving the customer holding the bag. Maybe even worse is how Town Square Floors appears to have no remorse for their treatment of a 75 year old severely handicapped woman. What are the priorities, ethics and moral values of those operating Town Square Floors?

The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted.
