We recently moved to the area and needed some carpet ripped up and vinyl plank floors installed. We got several quotes from other companies and Town Square had the best quality product for the price. They were able to schedule our installation for two weeks away and their crew knocked it out in a mere 2 days! I was very impressed, the floors look stunning and everyone at Town Square was incredibly helpful each time we called. read more

TOWN SQUARE FLOORS. - LAWSUIT We contracted with Town Square Floors in Georgetown, Texas to install tile on our patio and front porch. About 2 years later we discovered dozens of loose and some broken tiles. Mr Bizzell (owner) came out this one and only time and tried to convince us that the ice storm was the cause. Being naive we originally accepted this, later discovering that this was not true. Over the next couple of years the problem got much worse. Tiles on the steps leading to the front door and back door came loose and broke. A painter stepped on another edge tile and it broke and caused him to take a painful fall. During this time my wife underwent several serious surgeries each requiring a wheelchair, walker or cane. It was far too risky for her to use either the front or back door as she would have had to walk across all the loose and broken tiles, then step off where the tiles were completely loose and broken. We live in Sun City, and her senior friends were apprehensive about coming over to visit and assist her during rehab. As the tile and health issues continued to deteriorate we both called Mr Bizzell numerous times seeking help. He refused every time. Our last call was from my wife while she was using a walker, and Mr Bizzell refused to even talk to her. We then gave him written notice of the hazard and he still failed to respond. Reluctantly we went to Small Claims Court. Mr Bizzell employed a Legal Firm dealing in Construction Law. Despite the huge disparity in legal expertise facts are facts. The Judge ruled against Town Square Floors and awarded me 100% of the repairs and 100% of my court costs. As of this Review, Town Square Floors has ignored our request to honor the judges decision, and continue to blow us off as they have from the very beginning. It makes us wonder how a company that is so clearly responsible (and confirmed by the Judge) for the defect has no problem, just walking away and leaving the customer holding the bag. Maybe even worse is how Town Square Floors appears to have no remorse for their treatment of a 75 year old severely handicapped woman. What are the priorities, ethics and moral values of those operating Town Square Floors? read more

My refrigerator leaked overnight and ruined a house full of hardwood floors. The kind folks at Town Square Floors helped me with obtaining a quote and once I received my insurance settlement, I had them tile everything except two bedrooms. They made everything easy from the tile selection, to the installation, moving furniture and appliances. This is a family owned local business a I recommend them to anyone who needs flooring. They do a great job. read more

I went to Town Square Floors to pick out new carpet for two large bedrooms. The showroom lady was so great in helping me pick out a carpet and pad. Ray came out to measure, and he ordered the carpet. His crew came out and removed the old pad and carpet, installed the new pad and carpet, vacuumed it, placed the heavy furniture back where I wanted it, and hauled off the old carpet and pad. The showroom staff, and Ray, and the installers were so personable and helpful, and I highly recommend them. read more

Poor customer service. Town Square came out to measure our home twice, yet their team did not order enough wood for our stairs. The installers brought this to our attention, no one from TS called us. I called the store and I was told we'd have to wait at least four days for more wood to come in. We are hosting a birthday party with half completed stairs. It seemed obvious that the owners of TS could not care less. We pay you thousands of dollars and you do not measure correctly and offer poor customer service? Crazy. read more

It has been 17+ months since we met Philip of TOWN SQUARE FLOORS and his talented floor installer team! My husband and I wanted to share that we are more thrilled now than when the floors were initially installed throughout our home in 2015! Thank goodness we listened and learned and then followed your guidance Philip, on floor choice and color! Also, it's been fun watching and listening as visitors to our home ooh and aah about our beautiful wood floors! In addition to the pleasure we experience with our magnificent floors, we are now enjoying the beautiful wood floors TOWN SQUARE FLOORS, with your guidance, recently installed in my sister and her husband's home! Great selection and workmanship resulted in a remarkable transition to their home! read more

After looking at afew different flooring stores for wood look tile and not finding the tile I wanted, a friend mentioned Town Square Floors. I had no idea they were there. Ray came out and measured the rooms. I was very pleased with the wood look tile choices they had over the other stores. Everyone in the store was very friendly and helpful. I found a tile that had the wood look and color I wanted. The installers moved the furniture and were very professional. My floors look great! So happy I found Town Square Floors and will definitely use them again. read more

As part of getting three quotes on redoing the carpet in our house in Georgetown, we went into Town Square carpets. When you walk in, there's a large showroom and at the back, there's a counter area where several people are sitting. As we entered, we stood there at the entrance for a little bit (we were the only customers), expecting someone to come over to assist us or at least one of the ladies sitting behind the counter to ask if they could help. No one came over and the ladies just stared at us. We almost left at that time because it was kinda creeping us out but my wife said, let's look at what they have. So, we wandered up and down the aisles, pulling samples and comparing them for about 10-15 minutes and finally I went to the desk to ask if there was someone who could help us. They never said a word, just stared at me as I approached and when I finally said "Hello, is there someone here that can help", one of the ladies said that the gentleman in the office could. More staring. I actually had to ask her to ask him to come out. Anyway, he comes out, seems pleasant enough, and we discuss carpet for a bit and arrange for him to come out and measure for an estimate. He comes out, measures and the following day emails me an estimate. Turns out, he's the low bidder. We decided to go with another guy, Quality Carpets on Williams Dr., simply because the guy's crews had been with him longer and and his laid back personality. I called the other two vendors to thank them for their estimates and to let them know that we had gone with another vendor, so that they didn't have to wait and wonder. One vendor said thanks for calling and keep us in mind for any future needs. The guy from Town Square started out like that until he found out that he was the low bidder (he asked) and still didn't get the job. He demanded to know why he wasn't chosen. I didn't have a hard and fast reason and didn't want to say that I just liked the other guy better, so I just said that's they're the one we picked and thank you for your bid. Well, he ain't having none of that! He wants to know; Do I think he low balled the bid to get the job? (didn't think of that), Do I think he's a crook? (don't know you, but since you mentioned the low bidding...), Do I think he's off his rocker? (yes). (He didn't actually ask the last one.) But, he's yelling at me like I kicked his dog My wife who was half-heartedly listening to me talking to the other vendor and then she began staring at me as the T/S guy began screaming. She could hear him from across the room as I was holding the phone away from my ear. I finally got off the phone and in response to her quizzical look, I said, "I think we ducked a bullet here." I don't know if they do good work or not. Never will. read more

I am surprised at some of the poor reviews. We have used Town Square Floors (dealing with Philip) for 13 years, and have used them on a new home, a major remodel, and several smaller projects. Virtually every transaction has been flawless. They don't always have the lowest price, but their workmanship has been good. The reason I keep coming back, however, is their service after the job is done. We wouldn't think of calling anyone else for floor and tile work. read more

I have just finished buying flooring and tile from Town Square and could not disagree more with Deanna. They were more than helpful in picking out my flooring and tile. They also refunded me 100% for the excess tile (from their on hand stock) as well as the glue saving me several hundreds of dollars. They are local people and many of my friends in Sun City swear by them. I do too. read more

I find it hard to believe that anyone could give TOWN SQUARE a bad review. From my own experience I find them exceptional. Honest. Reasonable pricing. And just all around good people. If I ever have any future flooring needs, I won't use any place else. They have done tile installation for me --- outstanding job. And they recently corrected and completed hardwood flooring installation (which FLOORING WAREHOUSE who had done the original installation refused to do -- even though they had been paid to do so. Believe me don't use FIOORING WAREHOUSE ---- DISREPUTABLE). Ray is awesome and I am very grateful to TOWN SQUARE for getting me out of my nightmare with FLOORING WAREHOUSE. read more

I went into the store looking for laminate flooring because I "inherited" two dogs. They would sell me the laminate, but recommended that based on the value of my home and our type of dogs, that we look at wood floors and/or tile. I appreciate that they are looking at what is best for me, not just what they can easily sell. This is the second time I have used Town Square Floors in 15 years. I am still very happy with them - the service, quality of products, and helpfulness. I recommend Town Square Floors to anyone wanting new flooring. read more

If you are interested in: 1) a company who hires carpet installers who do not know how to install carpet, 2) company reps who tell you it is installed well when it is clearly a total and comprehensive mess, and 3) a company who will then pull up and re-install the very same carpet and make it stretch to cover the job by cutting and re-installing it like an ugly patchwork quilt...this is your company! Five years ago I purchased about $5000 worth of wide plank vinyl flooring. B4 purchase I asked if I could clean w/vinegar as I am chemically sensitive. They said yes. They installed. It looked lumpy. I called them back. They said there wasn't anything they could do about it. I also used vinegar. Bad move! Mfg. says do NOT use anything acid, must use their product. I made many many calls to mfg. hoping they would come out with new cleaning supply. Mfg. rep was supposed to come out in Aug. 09. I called almost weekly for 5 months. He finally showed up in Feb. Said he had to get independent inspector. Another 2 months. Inspector filed report, refused to give me a copy, but between the two visits, it turns out the floor was laid wrong to begin with, and the product was shrinking put wide spaces where there should be any. Since then,--late Feb.,-I have called the mfg. Karndean Flooring, almost every week, and get their area rep who said the report was in and would be forwarded to Town Square and Town Square should be calling me. Town Square has never called, Karndean's rep has never called back, only taken my calls and made more promises. I told him, based on prior association, that Town Square would not call back, and he said, well they have to. When he finally figured out they weren't going to, he said he had never run into this before, and would have to check with the CEO of Karndean who was out of the country. Three weeks later I again called, and yes the CEO was back in, and I really hadn't heard from Town Square and he would check and let me know. That was two weeks ago. I'll be filing a Better Business Bureau report, but other than, as I am apparently not able to get/entitled to the independent report, and forcing compiance from Town Square would need an attorney and I don't see one working for 1/3 of $5000, I'm probably going to have to live with it. But Town Square (the son-in-law who runs it) basically told me an untruth instead of checking out my initial question on the cleaning, well, there's even more to that story, but suffice it to say,...my take is, if you are a big contractor or go to their church, they'll probably do you good. If not, stay away and find a similar product somewhere else, beause I DO love the wide plank vinyl flooring, even as bad as it looks for spacing, lumps and bumps, and not very clean. . read more

I called to get the unit price per square ft for hardwood floors for 3 rooms in my house. I knew the product name and had all pertinent information to obtain a quote for the price per sq. ft. I had called other places and asked the same and quickly got a quote. Then I arranged for the low bidder to measure. I was surprised that the man at Town Square refused to give me a quote for materials unless he had measured the rooms. I simply wanted the price of the product first. Long story short , after he informed me that I was going about this all wrong and that he knew he would be the low bidder after he came and did the measuring, I told him that I did not think we could do business if he would not answer the simple question of how much the wood would cost per square foot. After all what is the big secret? I'll do business with someone else. read more

Their the best. After dealing with Ray & his team I would highly recommend them to anyone. They replaced 3 rooms of carpet & the rest of my house with hardwood floors. The work was done on time, professional & has left my house looking brand new. Their prices are responsible & they almost make you feel like family. After all work was performed they recommend Mothers Touch Cleaning who came in & swept down the walls & completely cleaned my house from all dust & dirt created by floor removal. What a great experience it was working with these folks. Use them you won't be sorry, their the best! 5 STARS!!!! read more

We had carpeting and tile removed and new flooring installed by Town Square. Dealing with Town Square employees and owner Ray was one of the easiest transactions we have had in years. Their team was very helpful and more than just knowledgeable they are on top of everything. Now, let me talk about the installation. Paco and his crew were on time and stayed late until the job was done in a most professional way. They swept the floor and cleaned up every tiny piece of flooring. These guys were some of the most meticulous workers we have had do work for us. I have one regret and that is I wish I had more work for them. read more

Three years ago we hired Town Square Floors to install new wood floors and carpet in our home. They did an exceptional job and we loved the floors and carpet. We just moved into a new home and hired them again. Frankly we didn't consider anyone else. The new home presented some challenges -- strange angles and multiple transitions to tiled areas -- but once again Philip and his team did an outstanding job. We've been juggling quite a few contractors the past few months and we've had several let-downs. Missed appointments, defective products, scheduling delays, etc. But Town Square has been our bright spot. They show up when you say they will, they finish when expected, and they do beautiful work. read more
