Summary: I would NEVER use this contractor again. I purchased my flooring from Floor & Decor and was STRONGLY encouraged to use their contractors - Installation Made Easy - which turned to be Angel Superior Flooring (ASF). The estimator, Rosie, said we had just over 1,000 sq ft and the installers would do 200-300 sq ft per day so we estimated 5 days. We planned to be out of town for a week starting April 17. We discovered that ASF would not paint the molding - we paid them to move all of the furniture (about $700) and put it all back when they were done, but that would leave us with heavy furniture against a wall that would need to be moved again for the painter. Grrr. We decided that ASF would leave the furniture away from the walls and then the painter would come in, paint the molding, and put the furniture back. It's heavy wood furniture and we're too old to be dealing with it. We scheduled all of the material to be delivered from F&D for April 16. On the morning of April 16, one of the ASF installers showed up ready to start work. We sent him away since we had no material and he was a day early. F&D delivered the material shortly before noon on the 16th. The missed the shoe molding required for this project so I phoned and had it scheduled for the next day. The next day, the molding showed up before ASF did so we were back on track. The shopping list that ASF gave us was for 255' of shoe molding. It comes in 16' pieces so F&D sold us 16 pieces. We left on our trip. I discovered on my trip that my Internet went out. It acted like the T-Mobile gateway was unplugged. I had left explicit instructions for them not to unplug it because we have things that need Internet (like our irrigation system). I texted ASF on Monday morning asking them to plug it back in again when they got and was told the job was already completed - they went for speed and not quality. They said they didn't touch the gateway. They lied - it was unplugged at the gateway end so they likely knocked it off the shelf, it became unplugged, they put it back and didn't say anything. That was the least of our problems... The painter showed up the Friday while we were gone to finish painting the shoe molding. He texts me pictures showing scuff marks all over the floor - he noticed this before he even started painting. So I texted ASF and they said they'd send somebody over on Saturday to clean them up. We got home from our trip 2 days early on Saturday night. I see scuff marks all over a filthy floor. I pulled the electronic door lock logs and see that they were here for 6 minutes. So they walked in, looked around blindly, and didn't do a darn thing and left. My wife spent a good part of Sunday vacuuming and mopping the floor. We then spent time with postit notes beside every scuff mark and a couple of dents on the floor and told them to come back and fix them. We also emptied out the cardboard from our garbage can and put it in the recycle can, and we finished picking up the garbage that they left outside. Our neighbor had already picked some off the driveway and some out of our garden. The painter immediately noticed that there was a mixture of shoe molding and quarter-round used for the project. One of the closets didn't have either shoe molding or quarter-round! I asked ASF and they said they ran out of shoe molding. Their supervisor, Ivan, said they only used quarter-round in the closets where it wouldn't be noticeable. I pointed out that part of the master bedroom had shoe molding and part had quarter-round. The hallway also had a mix facing each other. They matched the corner joints by slathering silicone over them. Ivan said they used 50-60' of quarter-round so they either missed the estimate by over 20% or F&D didn't deliver what I paid for. I'll never know which it was. The supervisor offered to replace the quarter-round with shoe molding. However, it would be OUR expense to buy the shoe molding, and OUR expense to have it repainted. I told him we weren't going to do that but I wasn't happy about it. When they came today, they cleaned up all of the marks with acetone, did a nice job on the shoe molding in the closet (they were struggling to get around shelving in there), and ended up replacing 1 tile that was dented. Ivan tried to say that it wasn't dented at all and it was my imagination, and the flooring guy today tried to say somebody else must have dented it - but there was nobody home between the time they left and when it was found. He then said it must have come that way from F&D and that it wasn't noticed during the install. ASF opened the packages and ASF put the flooring down. They need to pay attention to what they're installing. The master bedroom closet had a larger dent but to fix it would have meant removing and replacing the molding so we left it. Again, why did they install a dented piece in the corner of a closet? Overall, we have a new floor and we've made our final payment. But I can't say we're happy. read more

TL;DR: Do not use this company. Literally, the dumbest, worst experience I've ever had with any kind of home renovation/remodel/repair. My sister needed the flooring replaced in her kitchen, living room, and bathrooms and I handled the project for her. We contracted ASF through Floor & Decor. The initial visit for the estimate was totally fine. I was told the project would take 2 days and I scheduled them for August 9 as my sister was going to be out of her house that week. At the time I scheduled, it was about 2 months out from August 9. In the time between scheduling the install and the start date, I received two different concerning emails asking me if I was planning to schedule. Each time I reminded them that I had already scheduled for August 9. I was assured they had us scheduled and would begin work on August 9. This was a red flag, but I proceeded because I am a gullible idiot. ASF also required that I purchase all of the materials for the project myself. In the past when I've hired for other remodeling projects, I have just purchased the main item (ex: wood, tile, bathtub, fixtures) and the cost of the other materials needed has been rolled into the overall cost (ex: grout, waterproofing material, etc.). Now, I am not a flooring installer, so I was fairly confused about what I was meant to buy and ended up purchasing incorrect materials despite trying to verify via email that I was purchasing the correct items. Another red flag, but I proceeded forward. On Friday prior to my scheduled Monday date, I got a request to pay a deposit. No problem, I did that. However, I was then informed that they could not start the work on Monday because the flooring was not at my house. I had confirmed earlier that ASF would pick up and deliver the flooring. They told me on Friday that they could not deliver the material and start the install on the same day. Which, ok? Why in the world wasn't I informed ahead of time? They pushed the installation to Tuesday. On Monday the delivery person was unable to pick up and deliver the flooring due to a personal issue. OK, no problem, my sister is out of the house all week and it turns out that ASF CAN deliver material and start the installation on the same day, so the delivery will just take place on Tuesday and they'll begin the install on the same day. Seems a little fishy since I had been told not even a week prior that they wouldn't do this, but whatever. On Tuesday the material was delivered! And then the installation team got into a car accident and wasn't able to start the installation. OK, things happen, my sister is still out of the house all week, so it is fine to push the installation to Wednesday since this is a two-day project. On Wednesday they begin the install! They also work on Thursday and Friday. My sister returns to her house on Saturday annnnd the work is not finished. They did not install all of the quarter round and the installation in one of the bathrooms is incorrect. I call to find out what's going on and am told that "sometimes people are confused and think there should be quarter round where there isn't supposed to be quarter round". Please see the photos I've attached - this is pretty obviously missing. The installers had not finished installing the quarter round because they ran out (I purchased the amount listed on the estimate) and we need more quarter round. Why wasn't I told on Friday that they hadn't been able to finish? Why did I have to discover it for myself? I'm also told that it is our fault that the work in the bathroom wasn't done because we weren't there to supervise. WTF? The work in the bathroom is clearly outlined in the estimate. Oh, the installers aren't given the estimate. WTF? HOW DO THEY KNOW WHERE TO INSTALL THE FLOORING? I then waited until August 24 for the installers to return to finish the work. They did not complete the work that day because they did not have enough flooring (again, I purchased more than the amount listed on the estimate). Also, they did not have enough flooring because they had to rip up flooring they'd already put down because they didn't install it in the correct area - I'm pretty sure that if they'd done it correctly to begin with we would have had enough flooring. I then had to order more flooring (no discount from ASF for this $250 expense). The additional flooring arrived on September 2. You'll recall that this project was meant to begin on August 9. The flooring was delivered that day and the work was FINALLY completed on the afternoon of September 6. On the morning of September 8, ASF contacted me and let me know I needed to pay ASAP as the work had been completed for "quite a while". It had been less than 48 hours since the completion of the work. This is after I waited for nearly a month for a "2-day" project to be completed. Their excuse: Our contract says there are some things that "may not be included" in the estimate... I will never use Angel Superior Flooring again and cannot recommend them. They do not stand behind the quality of their work. My employer sent me on assignment to Pennsylvania. The renters living in my house destroyed the floor so I contacted Angel Superior Flooring to install the flooring I purchased from Floor Décor. The renters sent me pictures and told me everything was fine with the floor. I wasn't able to see the floor until I had moved back to Texas which was after the warranty period had expired. The day I saw the floor, it was obvious that the installers had put down a board in the middle of the kitchen with a rock under it. I contacted Angel Superior Flooring and asked them to please come look at the floor and provide a quote to fix the kitchen and two other areas in the house where the floor had been scratched. I was told that the floor was no longer under warranty. All that I asked for was a break in the repair cost for the one board that had the rock under it but instead, they quoted me more to fix that one board than the two boards in the middle of the living room and the two boards in the bed room. I sent them an email again asking them if they would give me some sort of break on repairing the kitchen floor because it was clearly an error caused by the installer. I have had several jobs done by Angel Superior Flooring and the end result everything was done where I am happy & satisfied with their work. I understand that in the construction bussiness there will be surprises; that the installer might have missed a nail or forgot to caulk somewhere. I just needed to call them and they sent the installer back ASAP. I did not have to keep calling them. They actually followed up with me to make sure everything got taken care of. If something new came up that needed to be added to the estimate, they would call me to ask if we wanted to add it or discuss options. The good thing about this company is not only do they change the estimate Several times for me because I was undecided which flooring I wanted; But they also sent a List of the Materials I needed to buy. They communicated with me via Text, email and over the phone. They always responded back to me quickly. Now I'm not asking for perfection when I need a job done and I know that nowadays for any little thing wrong people want to put in a bad review. The consumer also does not write what went wrong on their part. I know I was late in opening the door for the installer. I was not there all day when they had questions. Because of the fact my mother was asking for proof of insurance, (which shouldn't ever be an issue when having work done on your house) she insinuated that she was a "picky customer", and practically said they would just rather not work with us on this job because of that. I'm not going to go into all the ins and outs. Our downstairs flooring tile install required 3 trips with leftover glue and caulking needs. Our quarter round looks terrible. "We don't install at door jambs". Our stairs are not done because the wrong part was ordered. Installer didn't speak English and sent me the part but his boss ordered the wrong one as she said she would handle it. I am having to pay for shoddy work or they have threatened to put a lien on my house. I don't want them to come back even though they offered to fix it. We had water damage to our wood floors from an air conditioning pan, and NOBODY wanted to repair them--only replace. Then I found Angel Superior Flooring from Floor and Decor. Rosie came out, and felt very certain they could repair our floors with our leftover original wood. The price she quoted was very reasonable. The installers were at our house ON TIME, and repaired the floors more quickly than anticipated. THE FLOORS LOOK AMAZING! THEY ARE PERFECT! Nobody would ever know they'd been repaired. After seeing the beautiful job at my parents' house, I recently hired ASF several times for multiple flooring projects. As far as contractors go, these guys are great. That means a lot in a town like Austin where there is a lot of construction, a lot of labor and a lot of rip-offs. There are a few reasons why Angel's Super Flooring (we call them ASF) is great, but we'll get to that in a moment. Let's talk about me. I should explain that I did not procure their services, my girlfriend Emilee did. I was there though and I was impressed. I should also point out that Emilee is not really my girlfriend. She was, but it ended. I will write a review about her later. All you need to know is that we still look out for each other because she is soft like a butterfly and I am strong and potent. First, they gave Emilee a lot of time up front and did not charge for it. They came to her place for the estimate and did not charge. They seemed to do a variety of things that we expected to pay for, but did not have to, including meeting Emilee for materials selection late in the evening after a long day of work. They did not rush her; they were very kind and helpful. Second, ASF was on time and did the job when they said they would. Have you ever had a contractor promise you a time-frame only to find out they stacked like 9 other jobs when they were going to do yours? I have. All of them, except Angel's. They were there for us and came back to finish when they said they would. In fact, they were early. Third, ASF treated us like we were the only customer in the whole world. Now, when I say "we" I mean her. But I was there. So they were nice to me too. ASF was available by phone to answer questions and texted updates too. Even though they are running a business and clearly have other things to do beside tend to my ex and her amazing condo (with a really nice view of downtown - but don't stalk her. I'm just saying) they still always answered their phone and made sure they were available. Fourth, Rosie. Who is Rosie? Rosie is Oscar's wife. Who is Angel then? Hey, don't ask, don't tell. But that's not your business. You need to know that Rosie is super sweet. You should also know that my ex-girlfriend is hot and Rosie was not catty with her at all (you know how women are catty toward other attractive women? Not Rosie and not my ex girlfriend). Rosie is so professional and so kind. She also did a quality check on the floor to make sure it looked nice from a woman's point of view (which I have come to understand is a good thing). Also, Rosie is bilingual, fully fluent in English and Spanish and fully awesome in any language. So is Oscar, but this paragraph is a celebration of Rosie. I should also add that Emilee's HOA has their preferred contractors (did I tell you she lives in a swanky condo?), and any contractor who is not one of their preferred one has to fill out all sorts of forms to be eligible to even bid. Rosie was all over it. She did not flinch. She filled out all the forms quickly and accurately and provided insurance documents which the HOA had asked for. Remember when service providers tried to earn our business by showing us they cared? I don't. I have only seen it in the movies, and in Rosie and the team. Fifth, the floors were great. We love them. Well, I love them when I am over. But that's another story. They are laid down perfectly. There are no weird seams or embarrassing gaps which other contractors blame on crooked walls. Nope. These guys actually know geometry and make it work for floor layout. And it worked. The quarter round was laid down nicely as well. No scratches anywhere. Sixth, Emilee did not expect them to move her furniture in and out of the bedroom. She has this huge heavy wardrobe and she guilts me into moving her heavy stuff usually. But ASF did that too. They would not let us even try. They put soft blankets down on the floor and made sure not to scratch anything. So I give my thumbs up for Angel's Superior Flooring. Give this company your business, you will be happy you did. read more

The reason I ended up working with Angel Superior Flooring is that the contractor who installed my granite counter tops seemed nervous about the marble subway tiles because the stone cracks easily. He tried to steer me toward porcelain tile so I lost confidence that he could do a good job and started looking for another contractor. My first impression of this company was positive because Rosie was professional on the phone and provided a quote within 24 hours, as promised. Rosie's quote was competitive and she assured me the installer was experienced and would have no problem installing the marble subway tiles in the pattern I requested. I was a little nervous about using them because I hadn't seen their work and didn't know anyone for whom they had installed tile. The majority of the reviews were positive so decided to take a chance. I purchased the material myself at a discount store and Rosie was very helpful in providing a list of items that would be needed to complete the job. The back splash was installed in one day and looks great! Rosie came by to inspect and answer any questions. I wouldn't recommend this company for multiple reasons. First of all, we were told this would take 2-3 days. So we each took a day off(My Mother, Father, and I). I had Monday, my Father had Tuesday, and my Mother had Wednesday. Now that you know that, Monday, when the guys showed up they were asking me if they were doing the bathroom, the hallway, and the laundry room. I said no to the bathroom but let me call mother for the other 2; who is at work mind you. I called and she asked "Do they have the sheet?"(The sheet is the paper that had the measurements of all the areas of the house we were getting done ). I asked them and they said "We have nothing". So my mother said to show them ours. I gave them the sheet, the older gentleman took a picture of it with his ph one, gave it back, and started working. Zandaia (who was polite by the way) reassured my mother that she didn't have to be there for the install(remember that for later) and that the guys got it. Rosie (who was also polite) asked if she(my mother) was sure that the guys weren't just confirming with me in which my mom replied that they didn't even have a sheet to compare with ours to confirm anything. Fast forwarding to the end, they've laid the tile of half the hallway and part of the living room and Monday is done. A little confusion in the beginning but were good. The floor looked nice and we were excited to get it finished. *TL:DR(Too Long; Didn't Read): It was a bit unorganized in the beginning but overall we were happy Tuesday, was great! Although, my father wasn't really monitoring them. So as far as I know everything went smoothly. All the tile had be laid down, carpet had been tucked and all that was left was for them to do was the grout which they were saving for Wednesday. Here's where it all went down hill. Wednesday(Today), guys show up at 8am as normal and the older gentleman let's my father know before he leaves for work that it will take them 3 hours. He heads to work and my mother is left to make sure everything goes the way she wants. As time goes on the guys have done the hallway and then the older guy leaves for what my mom assumes is lunch, but he never came back. So the younger one is left to finish what was supposed to take them 3 hours, but it had already been 4 at this point. To continue, the younger one had began working again and started throwing all the used items we bought in the back of the truck. We all had told them that my mother wants to keep all her trash so that she can account for all the things she bought. So my mother politely goes out there to tell him that she's keeping all her stuff and realizes that he can't speak english. So my mother calls Zendaia and she lets him know what's going on. He begins taking everything off the truck and my mother then realizes it's taking him to long to get the stuff off the truck. So she handles that and lets him know he can go finish the floor. Later on my my mom notices on the camera's that the guy walked two buckets of grout to the truck. She goes and looks to see them in the floor of his car. She tries to get him to admit that 2 of her buckets are missing but he acts like he doesn't know what he is talking about. She then gets straight to the point and tells him to get her grout out of his truck. He gets them out and places them where they were and my mother gets on the phone with Zandaia to let her know what has transpired. Zandaia replied that people that steal must be fired but she would have to talk to him first to get his side; which is understandable. My mother wasn't trying to get him fired, but she wanted them to know what was going on. My mother awkwardly lets the guy continue working so he can finish the flooring and the whole process will be done. Now that that is known, they didn't finish the floor and we have it scheduled for Friday when we were told that it would be done in 3 days(Monday,Tuesday, and Wednesday). My mother tried to get them to get someone back out here to finish; hoping that they would try everything they could knowing that one of their employees just attempted to steal from her, but to no avail. So here I am writing this review in an attempt to save somebody else the time and money. TL:DR: Floor is not finished, my mothers inconvenienced with having to take another day off and one of the two guys tried to steal from us and the company did nothing to compensate for that. read more

When we called them on a Sunday night (after the previous contractor bailed on us) she said she would have someone there the next morning. I Got 3 bids for a hardwoods installation project for our second home in Cedar Park. I chose this company not only for their reasonable prices, but for their excellent customer service as well. The moment I initiated inquiries via phone, I noticed that they returned calls and emails promptly and for any questions I had(which were a lot as I am a picky customer), the owner Rosie would answer in detail. My project was done November 2015 and everything went really smooth. We have done a lot of remodels on several homes that we have lived in at various states and I must say that this company is by far one of the easiest contractors to deal with. They were prompt, courteous and competitive. I must also add that when I went to buy the materials at a floor supplier , I noticed that their name was on the list of highly recommended installers.
