I worked with Cody Dorris for some flooring I ordered over $5500.00 worth of product. Before ordering I was told the items would arrive the next day if ordered before 3PM. So, it was ordered in the early AM well the next day nothing, the 2nd day nothing. Finally, the order came in and moved to the install location. Boxes were inspected and damaged items came from the warehouse. The warehouse just taped up the boxes and sent them out anyway with damaged product. To top that all off the Pflugerville office would only refund a complete box and not the individual planks (yes, the charged me for damaged product) As far as Cody Dorris, seemed like he would say (lie) anything to make the sale. Also, the order was not delivered 100% 18 days later still no answer form the warehouse as to the remaining order, nor will they refund the for the late product. NOTE make sure you order what you need and not over order, they do not refund the returns. This is not my go-to store, I found better service and product elsewhere. read more

Todd and Rhonda are very sweet and helpful but the installation process has been an utter nightmare. Almost 9 months later and our floors are still not done - there are holes, gaps, and they tiled our stairs incorrectly. We are still waiting on having everything done properly and scheduling has been terrible with same day cancellations and a lack of responsiveness. i have been working with Rhonda and Todd since 2020. Due to Covid prices went up and the project was delayed. They've been trying to help me find the right flooring for quite some time. An updated model of flooring came in at a lower price and they let me know in 2023. A three year waiting period. They removed most of the ceramic tile (definitely use the dustless option) and installed all new LVT through the first floor. They laid floor leveling compound throughout, and did a great job with the installation. My father, who has a couple decades of experience in custom home building of higher-end homes was completely impressed with their installation process and quality. I would definitely recommend. They helped me choose a few options at their store and gave me some samples to take home to help decide which would look best. We have a baby on the way and we wanted to replace the carpet in our first floor because we have pets and it was just nasty. We visited several locations, but this place was already following a mask-on policy (COVID time... yay) and offered a large variety of flooring options. In my tour around Austin, I not only noticed how many different businesses were not following any kind of norms in regards to social distancing and masks which concerned me. The moment I step into their showroom we were greeted by Todd. He was kind, funny and honest. I remember that I called earlier and he asked me to come by the showroom and I was horrified to leave the house. Visiting the store felt safe and I do not even buy groceries at the store now... so that says a lot. Once I chose my color, we got our estimates. Everything looked on schedule until I changed my mind about the color of the floor (I blame the color deal on the pregnancy because I am not insecure in those types of decisions). I remember how I called Rhonda about to cry because I changed my mind. We needed to keep the timeline because of the baby and things in Austin were just getting worst with COVID. I can share with you that they made my floors happen in the original timeline. I am not sure how it happened, but they made it all work and I am now very in love with my floors. The installation crew was very polite and fast. The installation had a lot of attention to detail and the work was neat and clean. I can tell you that I felt safe in every step of the process and they were A+. I am already making plans for the future and they will be in those plans. We just bought a house in Austin that we love but it had old yucky carpets. Working with Todd and Rhonda at Flooring Warehouse was a total joy. After Todd came out to the house to measure, he was always easy to reach by phone with questions. We thought we wanted tile but at the store, Rhonda showed us other options and we ended up with a beautiful wood look vinyl. She listened to what we wanted and never once tried to steer us to more expensive choices. Installation took a day and was a breeze. Tim kept in touch, sent his workers as promised who did a great job. It is such a relief to have awesome flooring and no more nasty stinky carpet. Thank you Todd and Rhonda! We had our living room and master bedroom floors replaced in December 2018, and Flooring Warehouse did a great job. They were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. We purchased a home that needed a complete flooring renovation (previous owners had pets that totally destroyed the old tile and carpet). We knew it was going to be an expensive project. We wanted real wood for most of the house and realized we may not be able to afford it. Luckily, we read about Flooring Warehouse and went to their Pflugerville location and met with Rhonda and Todd. Quite frankly some of the sweetest, most caring, and knowledgeable people we've met in any business. Rhonda was in the showroom and ready to show us all sorts of carpet, wood, and tile options, and she has a keen eye about what looks great together. Once we arrived at a few options, they offered to bring all the samples to our house so we could see what it would look like in our home. That was so important as the home had a significant mixture of paints and colors and trying to figure it out in the showroom would have been a roll of the dice. Todd came out and spent lots of time walking us through the sample selection, the process to demolish the old tile, carpet replacement, and every other detail. We never felt rushed and he answered every question patiently and thoroughly. Knowing we were working within a budget, Todd and Rhonda were willing to find creative solutions for keeping us in line. We were also in a bit of a time crunch due to a situation with the sellers, and they worked us into the schedule and got everything completely done before we moved in. The products we selected (lots of hardwood, new tile, new carpet throughout) all look fantastic! In fact, we had a pipe burst and flood our downstairs, jeopardizing the entire first floor installation. Had we gone with a lesser product or lesser installers, I don't think salvaging would have been an option - this stuff held up great! Todd and Rhonda won't pressure you and won't steer you wrong. And trust me when I say they will go above and beyond. There were all sorts of things he didn't have to do (some not even related to the jobs), but did just because he wanted to help and wanted a great outcome for us. They truly care and are great individuals first, great flooring folks a really close second! I have referred several people to them and will continue to do so. They are awesome! read more

We went to the warehouse and received samples to bring home. Ronda told us the price of the samples. So we knew what we were going to be paying when we got the quote. (Ha Ha) Second Todd show up to measure and yes we told them we had guest coming in so we needed to get this done within the next two weeks. Being they state they have no problem getting jobs done within an week. Well we got the quote. and the price of the material was over 250% of what Ronda quoted us. When I called and asked her she stated that included the installation when in fact there was another $250 charge on the quote for installation. Please go elsewhere this place is a joke. read more

I want to preface this review by saying I absolutely HATE writing bad reviews. Honestly, they make me cringe. However, I think that something needs to be said regarding Flooring Warehouse. I am getting the carpet removed from my master bedroom and closet, as well as my two spare bedrooms and closets (empty-nester) and getting hardwood flooring installed, instead. Granted, not a huge job, but a job nonetheless. And I wanted the same wood that I have in the rest of my home. Not a problem - it's not that old, and is still available. I called several companies for estimates, as any conscientious home owner would do. Flooring Warehouse was my first call, due to their location and the 5-star review on Yelp. They were quick to get back with me and set up a time to come do the measurements of my rooms. The day of my appointment, the gentleman who came out was late by about 20 minutes. I let that slide because our neighborhood can be a bit tricky to navigate. He was nice enough, and got the measurements, explained processes, and said I would be getting the estimate by Monday afternoon, latest. Well, Monday came and went - no estimate. Tuesday I did get a call saying there was a delay in getting the pricing from their rep but I'd definitely have the estimate the next day. Then came Wednesday... Thursday... Friday... Saturday he called me again and explained he was still having trouble getting pricing from his flooring rep. (OK, well, maybe... but I had already gotten an estimate on Monday from another company who came out later the same day he did.) He promised me I'd get their estimate no later than Tuesday morning. Tomorrow will be three weeks since he came and measured, and I haven't heard another word from him - almost two weeks after his last contact with me. No estimate, no further explanation (re: excuse) on the delay... nothing. Needless to say, they lost this job a couple of weeks ago. I figured that if this is they way they handled the estimate part of the job that I'd be in trouble when it came to the actual installation. That said, if they didn't want to take me on as a customer, they should have told me up front. Therefore, I'd give a word of caution to anyone looking to work with them. This isn't exactly the stellar service as I was lead to expect from this company. read more
