I already had carpet and flooring picked out from another seller but my husband mentioned that Designer Floors nows sells countertops. Since we needed both new flooring and new countertops, we went to their showroom. I'm *really* glad we did. We ended up spending over ten thousand dollars and it was worth every penny. First, I loved all the selections that Designer Floors offered. Because of the layout of their store, I was able to see in bigger format how our carpet would match up with our other flooring, back splash and countertops. Second, Robert was super patient with me as I grilled him on everything they offered. He really had no problem with me going back and forth on a variety of options. He walked through them all and handled my questioning (read : pickiness) with professionalism, and I felt really confident about my choice by the end. I wanted to stay within a budget, but have really nice floors and countertops. We bought a house a few years ago and didn't install new flooring until the month before we sold it. This time, I wanted to do it right and *LIVE* in a house with beautiful flooring. I also needed the floors to withstand three kids and two big dogs. Lastly, install was great. Like even better than I expected. I was a little weary because we had an uneven foundation but when the installers came over they were able to level it back up. The first round was to lay carpet. Second round was to test our concrete before laying LVT flooring. Final round was LVT installation. While it was a fairly straightforward process, its still overwhelming when you first start out. Now that they were finished, our floors are awesome. We have a new kitchen island, with beautiful granite countertops. It looks amazing! A month later and I am giddy every time I come home and see my new house! Everything is sooo clean and easy to keep clean. I love that. Seriously, I can't say enough wonderful things about Designer Floors (and they sell countertops!!). They really made our remodeling experience so much easier and I am glad we used them.

I had to call to see if they were coming. (That happened 3 times). If I would have worked with Nikki, rather than Michelle, I believe things would have gone smoother. The installer damage a cabinet because they did not remove all the screws from the countertop before removing it. They could not get a replacement cabinet so the installer had a 'friend' try to repair the cabinet which was unsuccessful. And all this after I prevented their equipment from being stolen - they left all their hand and power tools on the curb where someone was loading them into their own truck until I notified the installers. I had them build custom cabinets and a very large stained maple work surface for my home office. I was able to detail and refine the design via email (during COVID) and I was glad they were able to get into the details and have as much clarified as possible. I had a good idea what I wanted but needed to know what final points I had to think through. It was a long while to get done due to their backlog and COVID resource rework, but after the 4 hour install of everything, it looks and functions perfectly. The craftmanship is fantastic and their design choice guidance was really helpful along the way. I would highly recommend them for any important project in your home. There was a safety issue and also it needed a "custom" touch so that furniture could be moved up and down stairs in a very tight spot. I was so thrilled at how the banister came out that I hired them to make a custom "Dutch" front door for me based on lots of pictures I'd obtained from Etsy and Pinterest. I shopped all over for a door like this and the standard Home Depot version was the only one I could find and I didn't like it. Peglars designed the most amazing door including all my "wish list" items and incorporating specialty hardware I bought off Etsy. I absolutely LOVE my front door. It is so beautiful that I can't stop looking at it. I know all my neighbors are jealous.

Our rep didn't think through the job and asked the day of install about our baseboards then claimed it was a "client change" to the job. I didn't think of the baseboard situation as I don't do this for a living. There sales rep did not do enough due diligence guiding us through our vision. The wood floor itself is great and high quality but the rest was a nightmare. Don't have them do anything other than flooring - their light construction and painting is honestly incompetent and terrible. Lastly, new carpet for our family room. They upsold us a super plush pad then failed to write it up correctly. When I asked why the pad was not correct (after install) they acted like I'm a carpet pad expert and I ordered the blah blah blah 8 pound something or other. They were wrong, got it wrong, I opted not to PAY to fix it so I'll live with it, I guess. Overall, terrible experience but it could be the rep I got. Totally uncoordinated and a lack of communication for what we needed for this project. Very disappointed since we used Soleil as a referral from a friend.
