I can't say enough good things about these folks. First, I met Virginia at the showroom. She was super friendly and knowledgeable. She spent a good deal of time showing me different things until I found my "Dream Carpet." It's AMAZING!! Brett came out to do measurements. I asked him if they could do vinyl plank over my worn out linoleum. He said it would be no problem. I only looked at a few samples at the showroom and I decided I would just live with the linoleum. Well, I changed my mind, and now I wanted vinyl plank too. I told Brett kinda knew what I wanted. I live pretty far from the store, so he sent me a link to a website that had sample colors. I picked a color I liked. Brett took a piece of it from the showroom and put it next to the carpet sample I picked and texted me the photo. That's going the extra mile! It looked absolutely amazing. The other carpet place I went to said it would be 3-4 weeks for installation. Texas Pride had it ordered and here by the next week. If it didn't rain every dang day, they would have installed it in about a week and a half. Instead, it was just at 2 weeks. The President, Bobby, came out on install day to check things out. The install team, Carlos and his wife, did a wonderful job. It looks even better then I imagined. Highly recommended!! read more

Texas Pride Floors started off well but ended poorly. My new LVP floor has holow spots, crunchy sounds, and ridges that can be felt under the vinyl. They would not acknowledge that the issues were their responsibility. I hired a private floor inspector to get a second opinion. TPF has tried to place all of the issues that I see with the floor under the HVAC not being on when the floor was installed last June. However, the inspector found that the subfloor preparation was at fault and NONE of the issues I'm experiencing are related to HVAC. I gave them a chance to collaborate a solution with me and their response was not to take responsibility in any way, they wouldn't even answer the email. The company will not honor their 1 year installation warranty on labor. The installer was Nelvke, which they told me was their best installer however the inspector found deviations all throughout the 2600 sqft of installed floor. I paid 17K for this floor. I paid for leveler and they did not make sure the sub floor was flat before installing. Beware and steer away from this company. read more

I moved into a new build home and paid Texas Pride Floors to rip out carpet and install wood plank floors in 2 bedrooms and staircase. After the install the floors on the stairs immediately started popping off within 2 weeks- I had to move my move date for repairs. They came out to re-glue. All the workmanship was very sloppy. A couple weeks after my move the same thing happened and they started popping off again. I've reached out countless times to ask them to refund the stairs and put in original carpet. They have refused repairs. My attorney has reached out to the company owner twice to ask to amicably resolve to restore stairs to original condition - no answers. The floors in the bedroom are creaking and separating with cracks and the stairs look horrendous and are falling apart. We have rolled our ankles multiple times coming down stairs. We did our research, and these guys are the best!!! We are so amazed at the difference their floors made in refurbishing our rental property. We went with one of the least expensive luxury floors and found them to be better quality than Lowes or Home Depot and their install prices were significantly better! TLDR = 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. Good customer service. Good for BASIC tiling. BAD for anything more complicated than brick pattern. And I do NOT recommend this company. We chose Texas Pride Custom Floors as they are local & had good reviews. We were upgrading 3 areas in our home. We did an accent strip in our master bath. It came out great. We did an accent wall surrounding our fireplace. It came out great. We wanted to do a HERRINGBONE pattern backsplash in our kitchen. It did NOT come out great. As a matter of fact, the first tile we chose, as the tiler was installing it in a HERRINGBONE PATTERN said it wasn't going up right. After meeting with the sales rep, that tile was torn down & we chose a different (LARGER) tile that the rep recommended would be a better choice for our HERRINGBONE backsplash. We waited a week or two while the new tile was on order. When the new tile finally showed up, the tiler showed up & started installing the HERRINGBONE pattern we wanted. Unfortunately, the herringbone pattern was being installed HORRIBLY. The tiles were NOT spaced properly. We talked to the tiler about it & were told it wasn't his fault. We looked at the work & there was only about 1/3 of the tile that had SPACERS. Where it is our understanding that with a COMPLEX PATTERN, that EVERY TILE should have spacers all over the place! The tiler insisted it wasn't that the tile was missing spacers. It was the TILES FAULT that the installation was bad. We were quite UPSET & I was close to tears. The Site Rep showed up & we talked about it some more. And we UNHAPPILY AGREED to redo the tile AGAIN (for the THIRD TIME) & instead of the HERRINGBONE PATTERN we'd been dreaming of - we SETTLED for a subway pattern. Then, once the tiling was finally completed..... As instructed, we waited about a week to seal the tile (CALCUTTA MARBLE) for everything to set. Once we started the sealing process, we found SEVEN cracked tiles. The site rep had to come out (again) & approve for the tiler to come out & fix these cracked tiles. The tiler came out & fixed the tiles. Then - we noticed the next day that there was still more tiles needing to be replaced. This went on, back & forth about 3-4 times, each time, the tiler attempting to blame us for doing something wrong to crack the tiles. As he was replacing one tile, he'd crack the one next to it, then blame us. WE SAW THIS HAPPEN TWICE. The job is FINALLY completed (this started in early September - Completed in late October). We are happy with the final product. Though VERY DISAPPOINTED about NOT GETTING THE HERRINGBONE PATTERN that we wanted. OH! By the way - WE PAID FOR THE LABOR OF HERRINGBONE PATTERN that we did not get. All in all, the Customer Service for Texas Pride Custom Floors was good. And as long as all you want is VERY BASIC TILING, the end product is good. If/when we decide to do more tile work, we will NOT be going back. And we do NOT recommend this company. They get 2 1/2 out of 5 stars - and that's mostly for customer service & the VERY BASIC tiling work. read more

Scheduled hardwood installation in new home prior to move in. TPCF ordered wrong size tried to blame us. Then rescheduled installation after our movers delivered our belongings. We had to move furniture ourselves after spending 4 days cleaning up after TPCF workers. But the worst part was one of the installers left EXCREMENT(Feces, ) all over toilet LID, BOWL AND SEAT!!!Never in my life have I experienced something like this!!! A really great experience with Texas Pride Floors! Dustin was excellent in measuring, estimating and providing feedback on my projects. I had an accent wall that was tiled (120sf) and a fireplace that required new tiles. I also had approximately 250 sf of hardwood installed in a bedroom. All of my projects were coordinated by Chris who also did an outstanding job. The projects were finished on time and within the estimate they had provided. Just had new floors put in a 1917 Craftsman home. The entire home was prepped and had flooring installed. The process was smooth from beginning to end. Mitchell was right on time for the measurements, answered all of my questions, and had a bid for us within 24 hours. We were impressed with the detail his quote provided, with everything itemized and priced. Mitchell was extremely prompt in answering text messages and emails, and always professional and courteous. His crew met us right on time and did an exceptional job. Everything was left neat, the floors look amazing, and we couldn't be happier. I needed flooring during Covid 19 and was having difficulty finding flooring for a home I was building. Time was of the essence. PJ at Texas Pride, in Leander, listened to what I was looking for and the product I had in mind. He didn't try to direct me to another product. Instead, he found the flooring, in a slightly different color by the same manufacturer. I went to the manufacturers website and found it to be compatible with what I was looking for. He didn't try to sell me on a different manufacturer. The flooring was installed within a week. The installation is flawless and 1870 sq feet was installed in one day! I had them replace the carpets in my house. The sales guy showed up and did a professional job of providing a quote. The carpet that we agreed to was on backorder, unbeknownst to the sales guy, so he gave me the stainmaster carpet at the same price. The installers and the logistics guy arrived on the install date on-time. The worker bees started doing their thing and the logistics guy disappeared, stating that he'd be back before they finished. The workers themselves were skilled and efficient, though they are contractors for this company, not employees. It became apparent that Texas Pride doesn't do its own work, it sub-contracts everything out. Or so it would seem. 'Guess there's nothing wrong with that, so long as the work gets done correctly. The only complaint I had about the workers themselves was that they left some trash in my driveway after completing the job. Not cool. And then the logistics guy didn't return, which I half-expected. He did call later, to be fair, and gave some excuse, I don't recall what it was, as it sounded kinda lame. Don't tell me that you're gonna do something but then don't do it. That's a peeve of mine. Finally, we agreed to a 50% deposit. When it came time to pay the balance, I expected the sales guy to get in touch with me. He didn't do that however, then I got busy at work. A couple of days later I received an email from him stating that I hadn't called the office to take care of the balance. "What?" I thought. "I haven't done it because you haven't called me." And I didn't want anyone else in the office to do that, I expected the sales guy to finish his deal. Minor riff in the big picture.
