The team (Carl, William, Artie, Julio and the team...) have been overall very helpful - responsive, attentive, reasonable, and flexible...and the projects have all turned out very nice! Carl is the numbers guy, William is the PM/building guy and together they make a good team. We had to work through a lot of details especially with the addition (permitting, pouring foundation, etc.) and the team was helpful and patient throughout. When we encountered some challenging issues with the siding project (demo from the siding caused minor interior damage and an exterior hose spigot was accidentally cut), the team resolved the issues appropriately. The workers try to be careful but unexpected things happen and the team/William were quick to fix things! I highly recommend this company to use for projects like custom sheds but also larger projects like patios, additions and even exterior projects like siding!

We asked Carl and his team to enclose our patio so we could enjoy the beautiful view behind our…read morehouse. And Carl, William and their team did a wonderful job. They listened to us throughout the project. Mid-project we realized one of the posts holding up the porch was full of carpenter ants. William and team quickly took out the post and replaced it with a new one. At the very last minute we asked for a sliding screen door and that showed up the next day for the final install. The team wants to please the customer and go out of the way to accomplish this. They asked us if they should rebuild our stairway to make longer treads so our cat could more easily access our porch! And he loves his stairway. And we couldn't be happier. We are planning a neighborhood party in October to show off our new porch.

We recently had a great experience with MG, a locally owned family business…read more After seeing the beautiful tile work they did for our neighbor's patio, we contacted them for our own tile patio project. From the initial site visit to selecting materials and completing the installation, the entire process was smooth and professional. The team was easy to communicate with, and Miranda provided helpful guidance regarding the tile and grout selection. The Install process took 2 days and the crew did a great job not only with the install but with the cleanup as well. When a minor issue popped up after the install, the owner, Manor, personally came out with his crew to address it. Not only did they resolve it promptly--they went above and beyond our expectations. If you're looking for high-quality tile and flooring with outstanding service, I highly recommend MG. Support Local!

I've waited a while to write this because the owners of MG Floors are friendly, personable people…read more They offer a low-pressure sales environment and were great about letting us keep samples for an extended time. However, after a few years of living with the results, I feel obligated to warn others: being nice does not equal quality workmanship or professional accountability. We were very clear about our "active kid" lifestyle (cleats, sports bags, etc.). We were assured multiple times that Luxury Vinyl Plank was a great durable option for us. We purchased one of their more expensive LVP lines (Coretec), yet it has performed significantly worse than the "low-quality 90s laminate" it replaced. The LVP is covered in dents and scratches from all the same normal things the laminate flooring handled without a blemish for many years. Installation week was a mess. Despite being home to answer questions, the crew made executive decisions without consulting us, many of which had to be corrected later. They didn't provide us with arrival times or communicate about the progress unless we asked, and even then they didn't show up at the times they gave us. The only phone number provided was the office number so there wasn't anyone to call for an update when they didn't arrive as expected. We were also hit with a surprise bill for extra leveling compound (they quoted us 3 bags but used 24 which was an additional $735), which makes the eventual failure of the leveling (details below) even more frustrating. Our furniture was moved around and stacked in whatever room they weren't working in and all of it had dents and dings in it when they were finished. They also had to come back and replace the new flooring in one room where they had rolled our piano over it, leaving indentations behind from its heavy weight. We incorrectly assumed underlayment would be included because every other estimate we got included it but MG chose not to use underlayment because it was "recommended, not required" and we didn't realize this until they were halfway done with installation. Every contractor we've spoken to since has shaken their head at this. We began to notice issues with the flooring itself only a couple months in and these have progressively worsened. We had a small bump in the kitchen floor from day one. MG came back to look at it and said they could not help us and suggested we contact the manufacturer (Shaw/Coretec) to escalate which we did. The representative determined the subfloor was not leveled properly and deemed this an installation problem. Despite their own suggestion to involve the manufacturer, MG Floors refused to fix the issue unless we paid them to come back and repair it (we did not). That spot has now cracked. Additionally, small flooring pieces near the edges of our cabinets weren't glued down and they've now slipped out of place under the quarter round, leaving visible gaps at the edges of the floor. MG installed new baseboards as part of the job which they painted after installation, essentially painting them to the floor. Now, there are large, ugly cracks in the paint where the two meet. Photos are included to illustrate what an eyesore this is. We reached out to MG multiple times via email, phone, and in person, and pleaded with them to make this right but they took zero accountability for their installation errors or their poor recommendations for our lifestyle. The only resolution they offered was for us to pay them more money to come back and replace individual damaged planks of flooring. Needless to say, we declined. If you want a floor that lasts more than six months and a company that stands behind their work, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Their epoxy system is very nice as well. The result is a much more beautiful and hardy surface than other professionally installed epoxy floors in my neighborhood. Several neighbors with epoxy floors have walked by and were envious of how great ours looks. We've lived with this flooring for 7 months now and I can attest that it holds up. From car dirt and grime, to the kids' paint projects, to my own woodworking projects, nothing has stained the surface and no mess has been difficult to clean. We opted for a very light color and at first I was a little nervous that this would appear dirty very quickly. However, I soon realized that the surface is so easy to clean and that nothing sticks to it. Just sweeping, mopping, or quickly wiping up messes with a wet rag is enough to make is shiny and clean again. We are very happy with how our garage turned out!

My sincere appreciation is well-deserved to Mr. Tony Rodriguez! He is an experienced, well educated, well-informed, a professional and quite personable individual. Tony is the contractor working with my excellent builder, Truitt Group- Mr. Logan Leen. Tony himself was directly involved in the project from the beginning: getting all the necessary measurements, ordering martials, following up with the installation crew, and making the final inspections of the installations. He also left me with the plenty leftover tiles and material for possible future repairs or renovation!! Tony certainly gives his full attention and care one will need during a home construction! Thank you Tony. My appreciations of his installation crew: Mr. David Romero installed almost all flooring and shower tiles. He is efficient and very conservative with material usage, yet installs quality work. He is very hard-working individual and makes sure to get the job done and done right! Mr. Juan is the crew lead as well as a great installer. He leads the group by example and makes sure all works are done correctly. Pros: The sales reps we've worked with are friendly and nice. They seem to know their stuff about…read moretheir products, and they carry a wide range of inventory. We used them for carpet replacement, backsplash demo and install, and floor demo and wood install. The sales reps are very agreeable and are good salesmen...confident in their products/service and make lots of promises. Have a pretty quick turnaround with ordering and install. Depending on the scope of project, they send in a large crew to get in and get the job done. Cons: The quality of the job lies in whatever crew and Project Manager gets assigned to your project. The sales rep becomes a middle man of trying to give "the customer is always right" vibe (or "let's keep the customer happy") AND "got to keep the PM happy or he'll probably leave the job with his crew". Sales rep will say, "yes, we can do that, let's make it right." Then the PM comes in and says, "the slab was uneven, that's normal, nothing we can do about it." The "we can fix this portion of the job, it's easy, just need to do this..." then becomes "choose the worst couple of spots and we'll fix those" because of pushback and excuses from the crew. No quality control. I'm giving two stars because they did a good job with our carpet installs, and our Sales Reps were nice guys. Just wish our "nice guys" could have had a crew that knew what they were doing and took more pride in their work. I've talked to other customers that had other crews work on their projects, and they did not have any of the same issues as we did. And they were surprised when they saw the pictures I'm posting.

In the fall, we finally decided to pull the trigger on remodeling our kitchen. The major elements…read moreincluded removing a load-bearing wall, relocating the water and gas lines, and expanding the pantry. We solicited bids from a handful of general contractors, but only a few responded. Interestingly, the one we ultimately selected wasn't even on our initial list. While browsing for LVP flooring samples at Fantastic Floors, I struck up a conversation about our project. Mazz, the owner, eagerly offered to bid on it. Though skeptical at first, I agreed. The very next day, he arrived with his construction team and cabinet partner to discuss our vision in detail. Just a few days later, we received a competitive quote, signed the contract within a week, and work commenced shortly after. Despite some unexpected challenges from the wall removal, they completed the remodel in about a month--far quicker than the 2-3 months quoted by others. If you're considering a remodel, I wholeheartedly recommend Fantastic Floors--be sure to speak with Mazz for outstanding results.

Super abrasive and condescending to his crew and employee K. Argued with my design choices, did not listen to me at all and seemed annoyed with my questions about product. Also, took a call in front of my husband and me and kept on speaker. Talk about awkward. It was business related but lots of cussing and yelling between the two. The kicker was they quoted me 5000.00 more than the amazing flooring company we ended up going with and they were going to go right over the existing floor. So less work, more money, when I called to inquire about the process because I researched and got other bids, K was explaining and answering my questions well, 1/2 way through the conversation owner took phone and was aggressively talking to me. I said, "wait did you guys just switch?" He replied, "I can explain better" wow. So disrespectful. If you are ok with going over existing floors and dealing with this behavior, have at it, but I definitely can recommend a much better choice. The company I chose was pleasant to work with, cost effective, and flawless from beginning to end. Doing it the right way, by pulling up the floors is the way to go. Peace of mind for sure and warranties work when it is done correctly, should something happen. I will never have to wonder.
