My husband and I wanted to add some cabinetry for extra storage in our new build's laundry room. Initially finding the right business for this seemed to be daunting- but I saw some good reviews for JL Cabinet and Granite and decided to give it a shot. Wow, I am so pleased! We received a draft design based on my initial outreach, made a few tweaks, chose our materials, and once those things were confirmed, the team got out to our home and completed the project in two days. We are so impressed, and plan to use them for any future projects! Also, a big thank you to Chloe who communicated timelines and expectations and helped answer all our questions. :)

I cannot recommend JL Cabinet & Granite enough. Real people answer their phone & every email I sent was answered within 30 minutes. Chloe was so helpful through the entire process. I ended up going with the Carrara Morro Quartz. I liked that it has subtle grey markings (all white made me nervous). Keep in mind they don't install backsplash or connect the plumbing. They do provide sinks. For backsplash, I used Amaya Tile (512-839-5705).

ADDITIONAL UPDATE - FILLED THE SINK WITH SOME WATER TODAY TO WASH PRODUCE. IT FELL OUT. If you are considering JL Cabinet and Granite - we strongly suggest you don't. We paid them roughly $11,000.00 for our kitchen. New white shaker style cabinets and granite countertops. What we ended up with are a bunch of damaged and poorly installed cabinets and broken granite countertop - that they refused to take care of until we finally got in touch with an owner. A 5 day job, that ran over three weeks. The cabinets and the doors had a significant amount of wear and tear on them from the installers. They tried to hide the damage by rubbing white caulk over it. Not only does that obviously not match the finish, they didn't bother to clean their hands and got it all over the place. They were totally incapable of matching the granite at seams, had to replace one slab because of that and then BROKE the second slab while mounting the sink. The pictures are of the very obvious break and glue job that they are refusing to take care of because they say this is a natural fissure. It's a break that goes all the way through at the most fragile and used location of the granite - right in front of the sink. It has a sharp edge and catches a cloth when you wipe the counter - they KNOW this. That yellow glue, they are saying "it's the color of the fissure". Yeah, that's the level of professionalism you'll get with this group. They are dishonest and do very low quality work. They want 70% down and they charge you more if you use debit/credit, so cash is the best option for payment. You will be left with NO recourse once they've done their shoddy work. Do NOT give these people your money if you want quality work.

The kind people at JL Cabinet & Granite did a fabulous job replacing our old, outdated countertops with a beautiful white/gray quartz. They were extremely responsive, answered our (many!) questions about the process, and offered advice and consultation along the way. They are also one of the most cost-effective quotes we received, and the measuring process was fast and easy. They also offer a selection of free sinks when you replace your countertop. I'd work with them again on any countertop or cabinet-related project. Emily and Jay, specifically, were of great help and fast to help us with any concerns and questions that came up. Thanks!

We got new quartz counters from JL and are very pleased. I shopped around a LOT and they had the best prices and got me scheduled a few days after my deposit. Would definitely use again!

BUYER BEWARE! I had a horrible experience with this place. Cabinets came with scratches and dents. They rescheduled our installation date 3 times because they were behind on other projects. When they finally showed up to install they didn't finish in the two days they said it would take. They ordered the wrong bathroom cabinet and then tried to blame us even though the invoice and contract clearly stated the correct items. When asked to replace the wrong cabinet they said it would take 2 months to come in. Installer left a huge mess of material that he didn't bother to clean up and to top it off his truck left an oil stain in my driveway. They were completely unwilling to take responsibility for their many mistakes and still expected me to pay full price. They are cheap for a reason, you get what you pay for!

I had the cabinets installed and they broke the Schedule C PVC pipe and took a picture after they broke it. I personally removed the cabinets and had everything ready for the install and the guys denied it. They also did not cover my floors and left all kinds of scratches on it. No care for homeowners homes! After the granite people came and knew I didn't have the cook top in the house and installed after they came back they cut inside the house without plastic cover, opened two windows and they knew I had cats and left a gray kitchen, living room and my cats left the house. The dust traveled all over the house through the vents and they didn't hold them selves responsible. Instead Chloe sends you all kids of messages denying what happen cause the installers tell her that. Lots of dust left behind for my cats and my kids and I. Had terrible allergies after for a whole week. These people are not professional at all! I went to them with the assumption that I would not go through all this and instead it was worse. They sent a plumber a week later and didn't fix my sheet rock only covers with the cabinet. This is by far the worse experience I have ever encountered while remodeling the house.

I paid $4573 for Quartz counters that upon first install were cut too short length wise which created gaps filled with messy caulk, cuts were not aligned and did not join at intersections, the caulking (easiest part) appeared incomplete/missing in several areas, a large area of molding was broken and exposed (not minor) - and the company refused to fix the molding or conceal it with Quartz referring me instead to fine print in the "company disclaimer policy". Install process took 6 days instead of 2-3. I had to request the team to re-do lousy work; the installers thought I would accept bad work for $4572. At project completion there are still seams that don't line up to corners that the company did not correct because that would have required replacing the counters with longer pieces of Quartz and essentially starting install over. The company cut corners to bandaid the easily correctable areas, while leaving other lousy work. I'm just disheartened that I paid $4572 for such work.

We chose almost all drawers for lower cabinets. It makes the space so much more useable!!!

i could not be happier that I picked JL Cabinetry for my kitchen remodel. the quality of the cabinets are fantastic. Their line had all the pieces I needed for a semi custom job. best of all,Chloe, the designer I worked with had great ideas and helped my build my vision. the installation team was courteous and polite. their lead, Johnnie, solved so many issues with my wacky shack uneven floors and walls. he really knows what he's doing! Finally we had one mishap in ordering a microwave shelf that turned out not to be the right one. JL Cabinetry stood behind their work and fixed the problem right away! I can't recommend them highly enough!! thanks JL Cabinetry!!!!!

JL Cabinet did an excellent job both with the buying process and the installation of our new White Shaker kitchen cabinets. Mimi was great to deal with and the installers did meticulous job. They accommodated our schedule. Thanks.

I posted this on Google Review, and felt the obligation to post at Yelp so more people can know and…read moreuse U Granites & Cabinets More for your next home renovation project. U granites & Cabinets More's product and service are so much beyond my expectations. Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I tell you, that's another level experience and knowledge from him about house remodeling and how to have those done correctly, effectively and cost-efficiently. Cost wise, I gave you my example. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. If you come across this shop and this review, I highly recommended at least give Amy a call or stop by at their shop to check out their offering. I would be happier that you do choose them as remodeling partners because I know you are making the correct decision.

I'm honestly not sure if those reviews are real. My experience with u granite has been horrendous…read morefrom start to finish. I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.
