We received a quote by the end of the day and waited a few weeks for actual measurements of our counter and backsplash space for replacement. Waited another few weeks to have them start demo on a Tuesday to disconnect stove, water, sink and dishwasher, and waited til Friday for installation of counters. Was originally planned for Thursday but due to miscommunication I wasted a full Thursday waiting to find out no one was coming. Came the following week to do backsplash and complete the job. For future reference, I would get an estimated timeframe from start to finish. Scheduling and communication seemed to lack and had difficulty trying to make my personal plans around them so I basically couldn't plan ahead for anything for 1 1/2 weeks. When I mentioned this to my sales associate he was very specific of a 3-4 day start/finish that was never mentioned to us, nor estimated in our contract. Well, we were way over their timeframe based on the wait time of scheduling. Since we had to go without sink water since Tuesday, a plumber came out Saturday to reconnect sink, stove and dishwasher for the weekend until completion the following week. I feel that the daily teams did a great job however I feel that my associate person could have given everything a thorough inspection, especially on completion day. Pictures and admiration does not pass as a full inspection. We ended up not having silicone caulk between the counters and backsplash therefore the grout was cracking, there were some quartz blemishes that needed touch up, electrical outlets were having problems, etc. and I had to make my own punch list for followup which again was not reinspected by my associate. So for over a two week period the job from start to finish was complete. I ended up caulking the counter to backsplash since nothing was scheduled, it was always next week.....not a scheduled day. I surrendered. Before this begun, full payment was done therefore I felt that they were done with us and left it at that. I still gave them 4 stars being that 90% of the job was done good by the assigned teams.

Recently I noticed a few small areas on the garage thresholds where the coating had pulled loose from the extreme heat and garage door sticking to the concrete. I reached out to Joel Allspaugh and sent him some pics of the problem areas. He had their service manager, Tin come out and with his helper Joseph they repaired the places to look like new! It's nice to know that there are contractors like All Innovative Concrete that stand by their work even after 4 years!

If you read what I wrote and of others who are reading care to look at the picture I posted of what you said you were going to do VS what you actually did, anyone could plainly see that you were absolutely not even in the same realm of finished product... which you lead me to believe is what you'd do, for 5k... Now, considering the job was so poorly done with not even the slightest consideration given to doing a patch and asking me if that's what I wanted since it was so different, I can only infer that your company is too busy trying to rush a job and get paid rather than apply critical thinking. Don't try to cloud the issue by showing the poorly done stain that another company did before I hired you... Yes, believe it or not (anyone who's reading) this happened before this particular company came in and ruined my floor. I asked for a certain style, the contractor said they could do it, and it came out horribly done and not even close to what was agreed upon as the finished product I was paying for. How could this happen to me twice in a row? Very bad luck in choosing a floor specialist apparently. You can show whatever before and after you want, but the important one is what YOUR company gave me as the example work, and then the completely different floor you did, and on top of it all you had the nerve to charge me saying you could fix it and didn't, and now you have the nerve to try and defend yourself by moving the goal posts by posting a picture that's unrelated to my issue. I'm not a litigious person but I'm telling you now I've got a mind to go to small claims with this, the more I think about it. I was so thrilled at how the banister came out that I hired them to make a custom "Dutch" front door for me based on lots of pictures I'd obtained from Etsy and Pinterest. I shopped all over for a door like this and the standard Home Depot version was the only one I could find and I didn't like it. Peglars designed the most amazing door including all my "wish list" items and incorporating specialty hardware I bought off Etsy. I absolutely LOVE my front door. It is so beautiful that I can't stop looking at it. I know all my neighbors are jealous.

I hired this company for an entire-house insulation job based on their comprehensive estimate…read more Unfortunately, their lack of transparency and willingness to leave a job incomplete without telling me was a major breach of trust. The back room of my house is sectioned off from the main structure. The contractors completed the main house, packed up their truck, and were actively ready to leave. They did not say a word to me about any issues. I had to stop them and explicitly ask, "How did you get into the top of the back room to put insulation in?" Only AFTER I asked this direct question did the contractor finally admit, "We were not able to access the room." Had I not stopped them to ask, they would have driven away and left me under the false impression that my entire home had been insulated as promised. To make matters worse, when I confronted them about trying to leave without telling me, Justin shifted the blame onto me, saying something along the lines of, "Well, you knew about it and should have told us." He then claimed, "There is no possible way for us to get back there." I find it highly unlikely that it was truly "impossible" to access; it felt much more like they simply did not want to do the extra work or take the time to adjust the original estimate. Further, Justin defensively informed me something along the lines of, "I am not arguing to get paid." I had not said a single word about withholding payment; his immediate defensiveness showed exactly where his priorities were. As the professionals hired to do a job, it is their responsibility to inspect the site and communicate issues not blame the homeowner or get defensive about money. A professional contractor should proactively communicate and adjust the final invoice, rather than hiding incomplete work and hoping the homeowner doesn't notice. I cannot recommend a business that operates with this lack of integrity. Ultimately, the company did deduct $288.00 from the final invoice to account for the uninsulated room, and as far as I can tell, the main portion of the house was insulated correctly. For those reasons, I am leaving two stars instead of one.

We looked at different websites (Yelp, Angie's list etc...) and met and talked to more than 10 contractors but at the end, there was something that was missing or wrong (too expensive, too long to reply to email, too much subcontracting etc...) until we met Pat. We initially scheduled an appointment at 8:00 am and he was right on time, explained us clearly the different difficulties that we may have and provided us with an estimate of amount of time to complete the work (6 weeks). Between our first meeting and the beginning of the work Pat provided us a detailed schedule of the work he is planning to do and was frequently sending us an update of the status of the job that he was doing. He wasn't the cheapest, but we really appreciated the way he was communicating with us for our project. He stopped by two more times to check with us some details that we were worrying about before the beginning of the work. It was also an occasion for us to meet his wife Leyla. At the end, we didn't regret our decision to hire Pat. During the whole time of the project, Pat was always on time, protecting our hardwood floor at the beginning of the day and cleaning it at the end of the day. During the 6 weeks of the project, Pat was always keeping us up to date with the progress of the work and was sending us pictures while we were working. He was perfectly on time and was doing a very good job taking care of all small details. We had some delays but it was only related to other companies that we worked with (countertop, cabinets etc...) and Pat was always here to provide us feedback and recommendation based on his experience. We also appreciated that Pat was dedicated 100% of the remodeling project without subcontracting the work.
