I gave my debit card information to a representative at Espinoza stone--and within seconds--three fraudulent charges were posted online for Coach handbags-- totalling over $4500! Then after the 3 illegal charges were made--the authorized charge went thru for the stone. Coincidence? No creo yo! Wow! The stones on this person!! How many others has she ripped off?! I filed a police report and will not be coming back here--unfortunately! Check all your transactions with Espinoza Stone--she has probably stolen from other customers before--the manager told me she has been working there for 8 years! This only took seconds...do the math. I have used Espinoza Stone for years on construction projects both large and small. I am consistently impressed with their ability to quarry such high quality material. They also have a large water jet shop that cuts anything you can imagine from stone. Our outdoor fireplace, patio, and grill area are all Espinoza projects. The website does not do the stone samples justice so you will definitely benefit from a drive out to the quarry. My favorite type of stone is the "rattlesnake limestone" its a blond colored limestone with decollete snail shells embedded in it such that when it is sliced through and polished they look like rattlesnake rattles. read more

The quality of the stone here is carved in mystic runes upon the very living rock!!! So, this was my experience ordering from Espinoza Stone: 4:45 PM, Friday: Call to place order. 10:30 AM, Saturday: a dump truck puts a mountain of limestone into my driveway. Rock on... that was some seriously awesome response time. My only complaint, when they dumped the stone, it spilled into a plant bed and crushed a few things... not a big deal, and not exactly the drivers fault... but still sort of a bummer. Just make sure your dump site is well prepared, and has no overhead wires. Espinoza has the best stone prices in Austin on many cuts of limestone... and a pretty good assortment of available options. Be advised that the stone yard is faaaar north... so either call or visit their web site to get details. read more

My husband and I went to Espinoza Stone this past Sunday. We found them in a new and neater (if a rock yard can be that way!) location a couple of miles from the old one. My husband went into the office to get directions to what we were looking for and a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman named Albert Carrillo came out to help us. He took us to 3 different stacks of stone and even helped us load what we chose. The selection isn't huge right now but Albert told us all about what is in the works. It was a pleasant learning and shopping experience and we will go back for more. Thank you, Albert, for taking the time to help us even though you knew we only needed a few stones. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there isn't a lot to choose from right now, but as Albert told us they are bringing in a lot more stone. read more

Please remember, Austin white stone is very porous and melts away in several years and stains a horrible color....stick with a lueders type. read more
