Spent over 15k 2 years ago on 2 fireplaces. 1 doesn't work and the finger-pointing, condescending runaround is exhausting. There's an old adage - You never know how good a company is until there's a problem. Just read the owner responses to all the customer complaints. His attitude tells you all you need to know. No matter how "pretty" the showroom is, or how "nice" the salesperson seems, when there's an issue with your purchase, they won't remember your name. And finally, there's a reason they don't install and instead provide you with a list of their recommended installers. Because when an issue arises they will take no responsibility - they will blame the installer or the customer or the builder.

I get a call during this from American Fence telling me they have to upgrade posts from 4" to 6" at an additional cost of $400! Huh? I call and speak with a manger and he basically says they messed up. I'm waiting for the next sentence that tells me they will make this right. Didn't happen. Manger basically says, "too bad". Wow! Watch out.

Further, the major goals and benefits of sustainable landscaping include water conservation, improving soil health, reducing maintenance labor and organic waste generation, carbon sequestration, and creating habitat through appropriate plant selection. However, I did not come to this business for this purpose. I visited this location as I was gathering pavers for Thing One's Eagle Scout project. Specifically, a project that will help the Williamson County Animal Shelter. However if looking for items for your landscaping project, this location offers sod, sand, boulders, rock, pavers, weed barriers, shovels, gloves all at prices that are lower than the traditional big box stores like HD and Lowes. The pavers we received were of great quality and in pristine condition. When we picked the pavers up, the employees helped to place them in the truck bed as each paver was over 200 lbs. I worked with Resse, who was very helpful. She placed pavers aside for Thing One that were necessary for him to complete the process. Resse was communicative and helpful, and without her help, the Eagle project would not have been a success. I appreciate that this local business was able to support an Eagle Scout project, which in turn would help a non-profit organization. Thank you, Whittlesey Landscape Supplies, for your support!
