Fabulous plant-based fare that satisfies vegans and meat eaters alike! Brought my omnivore boyfriend here and we both LOVED every bite. He got the Statehouse Breakfast and I got the Stuffed French Toast and we split the Baked Potato Skins. The skins were probably the best part - those are TO DIE FOR! We both enjoyed our main dishes as well. Had to get some Destination Donuts to take home as well. It's a little pricey but frankly that's not surprising for a locally owned small business. I'm one of those who swears life without meat would be hell. Stopped here to try and broaden my horizons and am very glad that we did. Our server, I believe the owners mother was super inviting and patient as we asked a ton of questions about the restaurant and Columbus overall (we're new). There were 3 of us and we got there ravenous. The Jeggos Rancheros had great flavor and a hint of spice. The breakfast sammie, was very well seasoned and hearty. S'mores french toast was sweet and delicious. We had a model of champagne and with several fruit juices as we waitied and dessert was a Vanilla milkshake. We left very full and satisfied. I have come around completely after being a bit lukewarm on this place. Our brunch meal was absolutely delicious. Pancakes, tempeh bacon, loaded hash browns, omelette, milkshake. Went there last week with my daughter. She has the burrito bowl and loved it! It was huge ans she had leftover for the next day. I had the cinnamon roll pancake! So yummy! And the coffee, the coffee is so good! I just got a regular black coffee, so good I had to ask what kind it was. The staff was super friendly. The owners mom served us along with a young waitress! The pizza was soooooooo good!! We are from out of town and it has been a few no months since we had it but we crave it every time we think about pizza! We had the Veggie and BBQ Chick'n. The crust was cheese stuffed and baked perfectly. The rest of our family weren't vegan and said this pizza was amazing! We also ordered the Potato Skins, BLT, and the Caesar salad and they were amazing co-stars at our meal. I would definitely get them again. I was thinking maybe she was busy cause I saw her cashing customers out . After they left she proceeded to clean their table off . Again I'm thinking maybe I'm next . What a great new vegan spot in town!! I was so delightfully suprised by all the delicious vegan options ffrom savory to sweet whether you want breakfast or lunch. I got the vegan crunch wrap which was absolute everything I could have imagined and more it was so good! My fiancé is soooo picky and isn't fully vegan yet and he loved his meal too. He got the statehouse breakfast which is pancake justegg scramble and tempeh bacon. He ordered the scramble to be made plain just the just egg. We were super impressed it is very clean inside ,nice music, and friendly attentive staff! There is meters in front of restaurant and also a public parking lot right across the street which you pay for. It only allows you to pay for 12 hours which is 12$. My mom had the Lone Star Burger (delicious) and I had the Tofurkey Club (equally as yummy). Visited this place earlier this week after finding it while searching "Columbus Vegan Restaurants". When I first arrived I noticed it was a clean place. The decor is pretty commercialized, to the point it is almost sterile. The dining area temperature was cold also. The server who greeted me was very friendly. They do provide good customer service. When the food was brought out, there was a nice presentation to it. I tried their pizza which was really good. It is quite filling as well. So you're probably wondering why I gave them 3 Stars. If I had wrote this the night I was there, it would have been a 4 or 5 star review. However, I called for a pick up order on Saturday. I was told "we just closed 7 minutes ago". That is when I found out that they close at 5 pm on Saturdays (and Sundays as well which I can understand). I am not understanding the reduced hours on a Saturday evening. Today I thought I would try again. I wanted to try a different pizza that was on their menu. When I called to place my pick up order, I was asked to hold on so they could check to see if they had any pizza. I was then informed they did not have pizza and they don't serve it on weekends. So, that reduced them to a 3 Star review for having limited weekend hours and not offering items they have listed on the menu. If anyone would like to try them, I assure you the food is good. But definitely call ahead to verify hours and if the items you want to try are actually being served on the given day of your visit read more

As a newly established African American vegan I would highly not recommend this place the customer service is horrible. While going in attempting to be confident about exploring the menu I placed an order. I even kindly started conversation regarding the desserts giving knowledge I'm new to the restaurant and was trying it out. After receiving my order I realized there's a difference between a vrunch and a taco vrunch wrap. Upon receiving my order I asked if I could change my order due to me not understanding as a newly established customer that there was a difference in order with similar naming, the lady at the counter became instantly irritated and loud all while others were in the area watching a show she was putting on by my request being asked and all while asking her to explain to me the difference. (P.S. I am in uniform at the time of the incident) so I was definitely being professional all while also being confused. The first incident that made me uncomfortable was she instantly assumed I wanted my money back instead of trying to hear me out that I actually didn't I was really excited about trying out the menu but made an honest mistake of mixing up the two that were very similar in ordering all while again new to the menu! She then attempted to ring me up for a whole new order saying No she's not fixing it and also stated if I wanted my order fixed the only way is to order a whole new order! I'm pretty bummed, I was excited to try 4th & state and finally got the chance to today. My boyfriend and I both got the breakfast sammie and for $11 all we got was a pile of eggs between two pieces of super thick, hard bread. Now don't get me wrong, the cheesy eggs were delicious but the meal was missing a few things from the description so that was a bummer. I haven't had pancakes in forever and it was fluffy and golden brown; perfect! Our family celebrated our daughter's birthday with brunch at 4th & State this morning. We had picked to eat here due to its plant based menu and so were very interested in trying it out and to be candid, it exceeded our expectations. Our group of 8 had reserved a table and we were fortunate to be waited on by the mother of the owner of the restaurant. We shared 2 orders of Pancake Bites with a combination of the different flavors. They were very tasty. Our daughter ordered the nachos and her sisters really liked the fresh guacamole and the cheeze sauce. Several at our table did brunch while others ordered off the standard menu. The Vrunchwrap that I had was very good and loved the siracha aioli that came with it! Our son-in-law is still loves meat really enjoyed his cheeseburger. There were several very positive comments regarding the french fries that came with the lunch meals. To celebrate our daughter's birthday, they brought out a sugar cookie that everyone got to sample and all thought was delicious (and vegan to boot!). My wife and I have adopted a plant based diet and will definitely be going back to eat here again. We also ordered 2 pizzas to go and they look great (and based on the fact that several pieces have already disappeared, taste as good as they look).
