While I really wanted to like Good Cafe, our experience was absolutely horrible! We stopped in around 10 AM yesterday (Friday). While there were two people working (and only two other customers in the cafe, our food was served in 10-15 increments. My food came out first (breakfast sandwich) - 10 minutes later, my daughter's bacon and brownie came out - 15 minutes later, my friend's son's waffles came out - and then 15 minutes later, my friend's chicken and waffles came out. It took 50 minutes - for my friend to get her chicken and waffles! Reviews on the food are below: Breakfast sandwich - The servers tried to cover up burning the sandwich by putting the burned piece of toast on the bottom. I had to wait 10 minutes to ask for another piece of toast as it took that long for them to come back out. By the time that I got another piece of toast, my sandwich was cold. Bacon - The bacon was served cold. Brownie - The brownie looked delicious and was large in size; however, was super dry. Chicken and Waffles/Waffles - My friend and her son stated that these were good and tasted like "cake". However, they did run out of waffle mix (around 10:30 AM), so my friend was served a pancake in place of the third waffle. The pancake looked odd as it looked like a scrambled egg, but my friend stated that it was good. Hot Chocolate - My daughter had this and stated that it did not taste good at all. She described it as tasting "woodsy". Other Notes: - Located inside of CTI Bank. Cute, large in size. - Tic Tac Toe is available for something to do while waiting (1 board). - Plenty of food/drink options. - Cashless. Unfortunately, we will probably not return to Good Cafe due to both food and service.

We really wanted to like this place. My daughter has Celiacs and we are always in search of gluten free options. Overall the food was well seasoned. Most items do not seem to be scratch made. The waffles are supposed to be made from scratch and were good. For the breakfast bowl the potatoes were well seasoned, bacon good, eggs were a little overdone and rubbery. The bagel breakfast sandwich was good - the bagels come from Trader Joe's. The burger tasted like a frozen patty and my family was not a fan of the dairy free cheese. The chicken for the chicken and waffles tasted like frozen chicken fingers out of a bag. The decor is modern, bright and lovely. The biggest problem is a poorly run kitchen with extremely slow service. It took 20 minutes to get our first dish and then each meal came out of the kitchen separately about 10 minutes apart. The kitchen was literally making full meals one at a time. No one else was in the restaurant when we arrived at 1:30 on a Monday. Several people had been waiting a long time when we left. There were other misses like serving bubble tea but not having bubble tea straws, tables with seating for 4 but only enough silverware for two and no extra silverware unless you took it from other tables. I hope someone can teach this restaurant better kitchen management and customer service because I would like to see them successful, but a lot will need to change.

I really want to like this place. It's new and it's close to many office buildings. I love the ambience! The staff are very nice young people. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. This is the first cold burger that was ever served to me. The bread was cold, and the patty was room temp. The only warm thing on my plate was the potatoes. Sadly, they were so bland I also tried the mango peach green tea which was just okay. I won't order it again. I really think they can do better and hopefully they will.

Chicken pita, salted caramel milkshake with a shot of espresso, and a brownie--all gluten and dairy free!

This place is absolutely amazing. It's not easy finding both gluten-free and dairy-free food that's also delicious, but they've done it! As someone with celiac disease, it's reassuring to know they can guarantee no cross-contamination, while again, still making it taste delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful (especially Michelle!). If I didn't live three hours away, I'd be here daily.

The Breakfast Waffle Sandwiches are CHEF'S KISS! I was fortunate to be there one day and the non-dairy items were very good.

Had to get a Tito's Martini. Really well done. For dinner went with the steak and enchilada. Was a bit worried because they didn't ask for steak temp but wow, wow, wow great dish! Steak was fantastic and what a great combo with that cheesy enchilada. Had to get a cookie from what I over heard from others. Couldn't decide between praline peanut butter or the chocolate chip so got both, why not, I'm here a couple nights. Which one was better? Both were awesome, guess you will have to get both to decide.

The restaurant was very nice and huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I decided on their ricotta banana pancakes with a side of sausage and coffee. The coffee is self serve which was nice and they just give you a mug after you pay. So unlimited refills! Yes! Our food was brought over by our nice waiter which made sure we were taken care of so that was nice. The pancakes were very fluffy and light and were topped off with banana slices. The sausage on a side plate was super tasty. I could taste the pepper and rosemary seasoning and it was very juicy. The coffee was very good and I served myself another hot cup! I would definitely come back!

They were very forgiving to me not liking the drink, got the wrong side and offered to bring the correct one out. Left the broccolini on the table aswell. I really enjoyed my lunch, I had lamb . Which was mad fantastically. The petite lamb chops were very easy to eat. And so tender, I got them pink. Shrimp was OK. I got the cucumber mojito which was amazing aswell. Definitely pay for the experience but worth every penny in my opinion. I would love to come back and visit to try more dishes.

This one didn't offer one, which was a general disappointment (and offering to be might benefit them-- the place was dead for most of the two hours we were there). The space is beautiful and luxurious: a lovely fountain is in the center and signature chandeliers fill the dining area. I was a little disappointed that the choices of seating were were given -- though the place was empty-- was either a very small table (so small our servers apologized for having to awkwardly stack things as dishes came out) or a table attached to the only other large party dining there. Felt like a very strange choice. Also, while the place is very upscale and very expensive, that vibe was somewhat at odds with other diners who did arrive in what literally looked like old pajama pants and workout gear. The food was all good, but portions are very small for the big prices: entrees are all in the $50 range, sandwiches in the $30 range. A "petite" baked potato (which is petite indeed) was $14; burrata was $26. It was fine, but you can have a true consistently upscale experience elsewhere for those kinds of prices. I'd come back -- if there was a happy hour!

Great. Our server Ava greeted us and took our drink orders. I got the Brunch Sangria. So good. Actually 3 of us got one. Things were moving along. She came back around we put our order in. That was probably around 12:20. Making great time. I got a side salad. A friend got the Wedge. That came out in good timing. It was pretty good. This is when things went left. Around 1:30pm.... The entrees came out. I got the chicken potstickers. The temp on them was ok. But the other meals were cold. Yall... their meals were inedible. We waited all that time for their food to be cold. Not only that there was no check-in being done from our server. Felt kind of neglected. The manager came over to apologize after it was asked if they could have food that was hot. He seemed sorry. But it kind of put a damper on the meal. This is not a cheap place. Expectations are high. They were busy. Totally understand. However to serve cold food is not cool at all. Like I said I ate my potstickers. They were delicious. Could have been a hotter temperature for sure. But it is what it is. Will I go back? Yes. Definitely with the hope of better.

It's truly special when a server makes the effort to get to know everyone at the table, make jokes and join in on the laughs. I was visiting Columbus for the weekend, and throughout the rest of my stay after dinner, I can say this meal was a highlight! The atmosphere was beautiful, and we were seated right away! The cocktails were amazing, I had a strawberry fields. Now as for the short ribs, they melted in my mouth! They paired perfectly with the risotto, truly a great plate of food that felt like home! I have already recommended this place to friends visiting Columbus soon!

We visited yesterday around 3 PM after seeing the new Mario movie. We didn't have a reservation, but seating wasn't an issue at that time. As always, the restaurant was clean, lively, and welcoming. The staff was very kind, and our waitress was attentive throughout our visit. We ordered many of our usual favorites, but my entrée--the braised short rib--was not quite up to the standard I've come to expect. While the meat itself was still tender, moist, and flavorful, the risotto was disappointing. It lacked its usual creamy texture and was noticeably too thick. Additionally, the dish was served with only carrots as the root vegetable, whereas in the past it has included a variety of vegetables that really elevated the overall flavor and presentation. I was especially disappointed because this was actually the first time I remembered to take a photo of my meal before digging in. I came in fully intending to finally leave a glowing five-star review based on all of our previous great experiences--but unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to that expectation. This was surprising, especially given how consistently great this dish--and the restaurant overall--has been during our previous visits. We've dined here at least five times this year and even celebrated our son's third birthday here, so this experience felt out of character. One difference worth noting is that we typically visit for dinner, and this was our first time coming during the afternoon. It's possible there may be differences in the kitchen or service during that time. We do plan to return, as we're hoping this was just an off day. This place has earned a lot of goodwill from us over time, but we wanted to share this experience in case it's helpful for others.
