Despite being a Jersey Boy, I prefer biscuits over bagels. Yeah, yeah, yeah: sacrilege. But I just think they're so much better and more versatile. And hard to find in the tri state area. But out here in the Midwest they do not play games. The biscuits here at Dough Mama might be worth relocating for. I love the vibe of the place as well as the food. The merch is cool and I just love the whole charming Americana aesthetic. The employees are super swell as well. My pie just came....yes, we stopped by again on our road trip...got a go.

Dough Mama is the best! When someone suggests brunch, it immediately comes to mind. They are famous for their pies but their breakfast and lunch menu should not be overlooked. My all-time favorite is the avocado biscuit with the side salad (you can even buy a jar of the amazing umami soy sauce-ish dressing to take home!). I also have enjoyed many a seasonal quiche. Unique to DM is a wall to the left when you walk in that has slips of pre-paid items you can tear off and present at the ordering counter. If you can't afford a meal or need a little pampering, this is a great opportunity to care for the Clintonville community. Cute gifts adorn their entrance area and the vibe is eclectic and homey.

If you are looking for breakfast.... Go here If you are looking for cute cafe that has that locally owned feeling and charm.... Go here. If you want the "perfect" cheddar biscuit... and its a star of many of their menu items- well, it can be found at DoughMama. If you want great service... Go here! If you haven't gotten in your car.... Why, not? We had the avocado biscuit sandwich and the Lox toast. Both out of this world. Cant wait to try more things. I was blown away by every single element of this place. Open til 3pm. Yummy! One of the best breakfasts Ive had in Cbus in 30 years. Thanks DoughMama. Note: the salad is served with a soy vinaigrette, for 2 bucks more you can get Cajun redskin potatoes.... If you dont like soy sauce (like me) --- get those. No thanks needed! So good!

Wow!! I can't believe I hadn't tried dough mama sooner. The cheddar scallion biscuit was recommended to us by the employees so I went with the ham biscuit which includes a thick slice of ham, fried egg, micro greens, and an aioli! The biscuit is flavorful and soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. I also loved the roasted potatoes and their homemade ketchup. I also tried their seasonal cold brew latte, which was peppermint/candy cane! It was delightful! I hope to come back again and try their cereal milk latte and some of their pastries! The vibe is so cute and cozy as well! All the employees were so kind too!

Great atmosphere, food and service. Best Cappuccino I have had since Italy. Breakfast sandwich was tasty and the bacon well done just as it should be. My husband loved the croissants.

I was glad to be able to make it over here for a quick breakfast takeout order. I love supporting small business, and they seem to be doing very well with a steady stream of customers. The cafe interior is really charming and thoughtfully decorated. You can tell they are heavily invested in the local community. The dining room area is small but very welcoming. I tried the quiche of the day and a maple cold brew latte. As seems to be a theme in my reviews these days...the prices were a bit shocking to me. A very small piece of quiche was $14. I guess this is the norm now, but my brain is having trouble adjusting. The quiche had good flavor, but was extremely salty. Oddly, the salad dressing was also very salty. It tasted like straight soy sauce (?). The coffee was the star of the show. Cold, creamy and not overly sweet. I loved the subtle maple flavor.

All I can say is yum. Amazing little bakery and cafe in the Clintonville neighborhood. Great service and freshly house made food. The lox on the lox sandwich was some of the best I have eaten. Stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Cutest little cafe in Clintonville with lots of indoor and outdoor seating available on a busy Saturday morning! The servers are always super friendly and helpful, they also have a pass it forward wall with free food and drink cards! Menu has lots of variety, my personal favorite is the quiche. Dessert display always looks mouthwatering and can't recommend the pies enough.

Everything tasted scratch made and you can tell effort has been put into their dishes that you wouldn't achieve had it been something out of the frozen food sections of Gordon Food Services, Sams Club, Costcos, ALDIs, Krogers, or SAV A Lot. I didn't eat inside yet those that did got me some bacon egg and cheese pie and some buckeye pie. Both tasted fine but the slices could've been bigger. Not Cheesecake Factory big but slightly bigger if you catch my drift. Those that ate inside ranted and raved about it but again I didn't which is why I give it 3 stars. It's tasty though kinda like a fox in the snow with less calories maybe. Give em a go.

A coworker and I were hitting up the Winter Fair craft show and decided to meet up early for brunch. I brought up homemade biscuit breakfast sandwiches to her and she was sold. I had a bit of an ulterior motive because I was planning on trying their sweet baked goods, as well. The entrance was tiny, but inviting. They have a great little menu with tempting options. I was torn between the avocado biscuit or the salmon lox. They were kind enough to put the salmon on a biscuit for me- best of both worlds. They don't have an espresso machine, so the only hot coffee option was regular drip. The little chalkboard menu by the register had a cold brew pumpkin maple option that sounded epic. We ordered and headed into the adorably decorated dining room. Drinks arrived first and the cold brew was incredible. The drip coffee was self-serve, which is great because that meant refills were included. The biscuit was of a cheddar scallion variety and it was crumbly and packed with flavor. The sandwich was rich and creamy from the avocado, the pickled red onions cut through the salty lox and the greens added a lovely peppery bite. The potatoes were really well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The pumpkin scone had a lovely texture. It wasn't dry or dense. It had great flavor and maybe pumpkin is the secret to that moister dough. The glaze was perfect and not overly sweet. The brown butter pumpkin pie was rich. It was smooth and reminded me of dates. The crust was buttery and had more of a denser biscuit quality. It was not your typical pumpkin pie. Everything we ate was just special. I couldn't eat like this every day, but it was exactly what I wanted out of brunch. Service was great. The guy who helped us at the register was extremely patient with me when I changed my drink order, answered my million questions, and offered up his suggestions. We both found street parking in front of the cafe and the dining room had not yet filled up when we arrived a half hour after opening.

We were gifted tickets for the German Village picnic Giftory experience which gave us two macarons of our choosing and two vanilla shortbread cookies for free. We chose the raspberry chambord and pistachio macarons while also ordering two pistachio cloud matchas. All of the desserts were excellent. The raspberry macaron was very fruit forward while the pistachio was more subdued, but still had a spot on flavor. Even with sugar coating the shortbread cookies, the touch of vanilla made them taste light. I could easily see myself eating far too many of those. The star of the show was the matcha. 10/10! I've never had a pistachio flavored drink, so I was a little hesitant, but wow, I'm glad I ordered it! The matcha base wasn't overly sweet nor was the pistachio foam overly salty. Perfect mix of sweet and savory. Even thought the line was out the door, it moved at a decent pace and our drinks didn't take too long to receive. I'd like to try the strawberry matcha next time, but I'm not sure if I can pass up the pistachio Highly recommend!

**5 stars for the milk bread**…read more FUN FACT -- Tous Les Jous is owned by a South Korean food conglomerate group (same concept as Paris Baguette) and this is a bakery with Asian and European baked goods. I visited Tous Les Jours for the first time on Memorial Day (May 2026) at the Columbus location. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Monday. Surprisingly, they had lots of options available even with my late arrival because most bakeries run out of items quickly. They sell croissants, cakes, milk breads, macarons, drinks, etc. MY ORDER ($18.95 total for 4 items) -- Twist Donut ($2.95), Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50), Almond Croissant ($4.75), and a Whole Milk Loaf bread ($6.75). 1. Twist donut ($2.95) - sweet but not overly sweet. It tasted just like a regular twist donut that you'll find at other donut shops. 2. Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50) - good. Perfect savory option for breakfast or lunch. Soft and buttery bread base. I think $3 would have been a better price but the bread roll was good. I ate this in my car before driving back to Cleveland. It held me over until I got home. 3. Almond Croissant ($4.75) - my favourite item - buttery with some almond cream or paste inside. Topped with almonds. I don't like creamy things at all and I didn't realize that this croissant had a cream inside until I opened it but the cream is very light and it is more of a spread than a cream. 4. Whole Milk Loaf Bread ($6.75) - Fresh and soft. Definitely my other favourite item. This was all gone within a day, that's how good it was. Buttery goodness. The best bread. Overall, I enjoyed visiting Tous Les Jours and I hope to visit their Cleveland location soon. I ordered takeout so I didn't sit in but they have some tables and chairs available. I'll definitely be back if I'm close by the area again. Tous Les Jours means everyday in French and I wish I could visit them everyday...haha. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 101/250 total reviews in 2026 - 942 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026

New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.
