I had the chicken biscuit with cheese and bacon and ranch. The chicken is BAKED not fried and was sitting in dill - so it was absolutely DIVINE. I also couldn't help myself to the soft pretzel with cinnamon butter. SO GOOD. It's super doughy so not really the generic pretzel consistency but I was so happy. I got blueberry and cinnamon biscuits, being vegetarian I couldn't have the sandwich options but loved seeing them. Gotta say, loved them both but the cinnamon was definitely my favorite. It was perfectly lit with enough lighting to read the menu but dim enough for a cool ambiance. The bartender we had, along with the rest of the staff, were extremely pleasant and made us feel more than welcome. My brother and I sampled a couple of the beers and enjoyed both. For the real winner of the night, let's talk about the food. My son ordered the steak with sweet potato and enjoyed it. My brother also enjoyed his fish and chips. But the big winner was the gnocchi with mushrooms and onions. I could not stop audibly moaning about how good it was. Perfectly tender gnocchi in a wonderfully rich sauce. It was so good that it made me do something that I haven't done in 47 years of life, order a second entree. I got another order and ate that one as well and it was just as good as the first. We tried the bread service, the whipped ricotta, and the fritto misto. For me, this was the best fritto misto I've ever had. It was not on my radar at all until our server mentioned that it was one of her favorite dishes and she recommended it. I paired it with grilled chicken and I'm so happy that I did. It was wonderful. My husband had the Piedmontese filet mignon and he is an avid steak guy and he said it was excellent. He also really enjoyed the Gorgonzola cream. For dessert, I had the hazelnut torte, and it was excellent. Excellent flavor, light and airy, and also sometimes dense. Would highly recommend trying out this restaurant.

You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.

Our table was perfect for the four of us, with a curved booth and two additional chairs that made for a cozy, comfortable setting. When we arrived, there was a personalized birthday card waiting on the table. Since her birthday is still a week away, she was completely surprised and touched by the thoughtful gesture. Our server, Anders, was outstanding. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive, frequently refilling our water glasses and offering excellent wine recommendations throughout the evening. We started with the arancini, which was absolutely delicious. Everyone else ordered salads, so I felt compelled to join them. Anders suggested a half Italian salad, and it turned out to be the perfect portion. For my entrée, I chose the mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce, which was the evening's special. It did not disappoint! Every dish at the table was thoroughly enjoyed, and everyone cleaned their plates. For dessert, my niece chose the lemon tart, which Anders presented with a candle, adding another special touch to the celebration. When I asked for his recommendation, he suggested the tiramisu. Wow! It was incredible and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic evening filled with great food, exceptional service, and wonderful family memories. We can't wait to come back!
