Drinks were just ok for us. Would we have it again sure if we are in the area. Nothing really stood out for us. Just a nice refreshing drink on a hot day.
Got the Mochi Mango at regular sweetness and it was perfect -- sweet, creamy, and fun to drink from the texture of the mochi. Definitely a tad bit pricey but worth it for a delicious drink that was hard to put down. It takes a minute to receive your drink so consider ordering ahead if you're in a rush.
Yummy! I really enjoyed how fragrant my jasmine tea was with just the right amount of bitterness and creamy foam in top. The mochi mango drink was really delicious but in the sweeter side. I wanna be back to try more drinks. Our drinks came out within a few minutes and it was pretty much empty when we came. The place itself looks very clean and spacious but there was a weird sour smell.
This is more than give time we visit 3Ctea. Like usual, the spot mango glow taste delicious and satisfying
I really enjoy 3Catea for their really strong tea flavor. It isn't like some stores where they have to add a lot of sugar in order to taste good. From the first sip, the tea flavors really shines through and the milk adds just enough body to the drink to make the tea shine. I always order the jasmine and you can definitely taste the floral notes on top of the green tea. My one complaint about this place is that they are pretty slow in making the drinks as they go in order of when they receive the order. So they don't necessarily prioritize the people ordering in the shop so I usually do have to wait around 10-15 minutes before I can get my drink.
Cute cat themed boba shop! So many cats everywhere. Their cat logos are printed on the walls. Mini cat figurines in different poses fill up the counter. The Mango Sweet Dew had real chunks of fresh mango inside. The blended smoothie also includes jasmine green tea, coconut milk, house made milk, agar boba, and pomelo. Rich taste and thick consistency. It paired well with the Brown Sugar Boba that really soaked up the brown sugar flavor well. The Cheese Strawberry had real bits of strawberry and was creamy from the cheese mousse. This blended smoothie has jasmine green tea as well. We also added Agar Boba, which was nice and chewy. They have a kiosk at the front counter to place and customize your drinks. The wait time can take a while, so would recommend ordering ahead online. I liked that both drinks have fresh fruit in them and the fruity taste really comes forward. Very cooling and refreshing. Will return to try other drinks and toppings!
First time trying 3Catea, and overall we really enjoyed it! We ordered the Avo Mango Sweet Dew and the Mochi Mango, and both drinks stood out for their unique textures and flavor combinations. The avocado mango drink was smooth and creamy without being too heavy, and the mochi mango was fun and different, especially if you like chewy textures in your drinks. The person we went with had tried 3Catea previously in SoCal and mentioned that it didn't quite taste the same or that the mochi felt a bit different, so now we're definitely curious to try it again at another location for comparison. That said, for us personally, we still enjoyed both drinks and appreciated how different they were from your typical boba options. The interior was clean, and the staff was nice and welcoming, which always helps with a first impression. Overall, a solid first experience and a spot we'd be open to revisiting, especially if you're in the mood for something a little more unique.
Pleasantly surprised with the quality here! I heard 3CAT comes from SoCal, but I rarely hear people talk about it up in the Bay. The green tea drinks were tea forward and delicious. I would definitely come back to try other drinks on the menu. RECS: + Jade matcha ($7.25, 4.5/5 stars) had a matcha forward cream top and paired with the jasmine milk tea was delicious + Jasmine cheese mousse ($6.25, 4.5/5 stars) had a pleasant jasmine taste paired with airy cheese foam!
One of the Best Asian Drink Spots in the South Bay - and I've tried many! The drinks here taste premium and high-quality. We ordered the Mochi Mango and the Mochi Barley Burst. The Mochi Mango was a standout - light, refreshing, and creamy with a milkshake-like texture. Once I took a sip, I couldn't put it down. Yes, it's that good! The texture might be a new experience for some people, but it's worth trying if you want to explore the creative side of what a drink can be. If you enjoy fruity, creamy, and delicious drinks, get the Mochi Mango. Think: an Asian-style mango milkshake. Next, we tried the Mochi Barley Burst, which is Floral Black Tea with popping boba and mochi. The tea itself is excellent - not overly sweet, with just the right balance of sugar that still allows the tea flavor to shine. Many places tend to drown their tea with sugar, milk or syrup, but not here. You can tell the tea quality is high. As for the toppings, the popping boba and mochi were decent - fun for texture, but not particularly flavorful. The mochi is minimal and at the bottom. If you're in the mood for something different, it's worth trying; otherwise, I'd recommend the regular Floral Black Milk Tea and save a dollar or two, or opt for adding boba. Overall, 3Cattea is easily one of the better Asian drink spots in the South Bay, and the prices justify the premium taste. Highly recommend!! Bonus Tip: If you order togo, you get a nice takeout bag that you can reuse for other purposes.
I only had 1 drink here and I'm sold. The mochi mango is a refreshing dessert if you're a fan of milkshakes. Last night I was craving a milkshake for the first time in months. I got a Five Guys Oreo shake for about $7 and I thought it was a little too thick and too sweet. Less than 24 hours later, my wife got this mochi mango drink and this turned out to be the milkshake of my dreams. Mochi Mango (5 stars) + Creaminess dulls the sweetness or maybe because we asked for less sugar + Mango mochi at the bottom can be mixed so it's more even but I don't mind the division of goodness. It adds a silky smooth texture to the drink! + Best milkshake density is the only way I can describe how easy it was for me to slurp this delightful dessert drink Service (5 stars) + Didn't have to wait too long although it was somewhat crowded + Kiosk ordering is always a plus Ambiance (Clean) + That's all I can ask for
i got the osmanthus oolong milk tea and liked it a lot. the tea flavor was strong and fragrant. my order took longer to come out compared to other boba shops even when the store was pretty empty, but i didn't mind. the other drinks sound unique, i'll be sure to stop by again when i'm in the area!
Originally ordered the Jasmine milk tea and Mochi Mango, but was told they ran out of jasmine and were brewing another batch; additional 15 minutes. Appreciate that they gave me the option to wait or pick another drink. I went with the Floral black milk tea instead. Not my first choice since I usually don't like "floral" teas, but when I asked if it was really floral, both workers giggled. Drinks did take a while even though the shop wasn't busy, so be prepared to wait. Not docking stars for it, but definitely not the spot if you're in a rush. Store is nice and clean, with a single row of seating (not really a hangout spot for groups). The menu could use clearer descriptions. I was a little intimidated at first glance. Like, what exactly is a "Dragon Well milk tea" or "Floral milk tea"? That said, the Floral black milk tea turned out great. Fragrant, smooth, and not overly floral at all. Wish there was more ice, though. Their "latte" straws (three mini straws stuck together) are... unique, but kinda weird. My only wish is that they'd change the milk tea cups. The design makes them look like hot drinks when they're iced. The Mochi Mango was a winner: great texture from the mochi, creamy, real fruit, not overly sweet, and the crunchy bits worked well. Will definitely be back to try more drinks and to reorder these two favorites.
As for premium pricing and LA boba places to Bay Area. I've never had this place before in LA, so can't compare. This Milpitas place is the only one one the bay area! It is one of the best boba teas I've had. Each drink is closer to ~$10, but wow the flavours are layered and really freaking fruity. -I had the Abo Mango tea and they blend up real mango with a creamy fresh milk top. It really does make up the price because of how premium it does taste. advice: multiple drinks:: order ahead with door dash and it's about ~30mins or less, depending how busy. It is a clean newer place with ambience music inside. Staff is responsive and accurate when getting an order. You can order from terminal or if not counter. They display pre hand some drink orders because of the work it takes. Overall, A must try boba places for the money. -Parking can get hard to find. -Every drink is a good choice, it is also A/C, for these hot summer days. Would recommend & going back for the experience.

Not bad but not great drinks here. I've definitely had a better orange fruit tea somewhere else. I like how the place is spacious and has seats for socializing however music is extremely loud that it's hard to talk to people there. Convenient that you can order through their kiosk or through QR code! read more

I had their Jasmine Green Milk Tea and I loved it. I don't normally opt for basic teas/milk teas but this drink was so fragrant I will probably come back for it. As for the store, I didn't expect the interior of the store itself to be so cute. There were figurines lined up on the counter, posters of cats doing silly things, and the overall aesthetic was so adorable. There's a kiosk which I also appreciate. With sufficient seating and a spacious store, I'd recommend if you just want to stop by and chill with a friend read more

The mochi oreo was also very hood as well even though I never really like that sweet of a drink Service was on point and fast. This spot is super lowkey and is in the same plaza as sunright & xing fu tang, (which does make it hard to choose). Right off the bat, the drinks were unique and different from most spots. I tried the osmanthus oolong tea with soymilk foam. This drink was so good and refreshing and the foam was so good. Usually I am not a fan of cheese foam/sea salt cream since it is too rich, but the soymilk foam has a nutty taste to it which compliments the tea very well and isn't overpowering. My only complaint was that I wish the drinks came in a larger size. After a few sips my drink was all gone. I will definitely be back to try more drinks! Holy moly, this may or may be not my FAVORITE boba shop in the Bay Area. We got the Mochi Barley Burst and Jade Matcha with minimum sugar. Both drinks were FIRE. Not watery, strong tea flavor, and drinks were not too sweet. I might have to become a regular here. Store was super clean as well. I saw that most of the negative reviews were about the service. But, I didn't have a problem with it. They do ask for proof of purchase before giving your drink. read more
3Catea is so cute! This place doesn't look connected to the other stores around the parking lot. Don't be fooled by the exterior. It looks run down but there are a lot of cat decorations inside. That was the first thing I noticed when I entered in this boba shop. Cat figurines and labels everywhere! It was fairly empty. There are plenty of seats around to drink and hang out with your friends. The servers were quiet but efficient in their work. I ordered a Yogurt Strawberry drink. I love how sour it is. It was so enjoyable. The drink was freezing that it probably gave me a brain freeze. I would love to try their other drinks. They have a large variety. read more

I'm so glad I tried something new other than boba tapioca's. I didnt have a choice but to get my drink without boba, I got the ube rice mochi for the first time and I'm obsessed. It did take a while to get my drink but considering it was busy and two workers only. I understand it can be stressful working during busy hours. But the manager needs to talk to one of the workers. They make drinks in front of you therefore you wittness/see everything- this boy yelled at his coworker in front of us so many times. Idc how stress you are or if you're a shiftlead dont raise your voice to someone like that especially in front of customers.. They need more staff to prevent this. Couldve been 5 stars but that was not it. read more

I just love 3catea... it's so good! The mochi drinks are awesome I would 10000% recommend (both mochi mango and barley) :) the shop is also very cute with lots of cat elements in it. Just make sure to order online early because it does take a while for them to make the drinks. read more

Cute boba place! I came in on a Monday evening and used the self order kiosk. I got the orchid milk tea and thought it was very refreshing. I felt like it really tasted like tea versus some bobas that just taste milky or watery. The inside was empty while I was there and my drink came out fast. The staff was nice and there is lots of seating along the wall. read more

A cat themed boba shop?? This has me written all over it! I'll admit I came here for the aesthetics, but it was a clear sign that this place had to be good since it was PACKED on the day of the storm. There was a nonstop line at the two ordering kiosks and plenty of people standing inside waiting for their drinks. I went with a simple, recommended drink: Cheese roasted milk tea with 50% sweetness. You can really taste the roasted oolong in this and the milk does not overtake it at all. The cheese mousse topping is light and velvety. I'd give this drink a solid 8/10. The inside has about five small cafe tables with stools and a long booth style seat. Not really the type of place to study at but more for a casual hangout. There's a lot of cute cat figurines on the counters and fun wall art. This shop is located in a strip plaza with its own parking lot with plenty of spaces. I will most definitely be back to order the Mango sweet dew! read more

Decided to try this boba shop for the first time after lunch on a Sunday. Parking is relatively easy in this area with other restaurants so you don't have much to worry about finding a parking spot. Noticed immediately that you can order your drink using a QR code without having to go inside. It wasn't too busy overall, but I would say roughly seven people were in the vicinity. Originally I wasn't able to decide on what to order, but I decided to try the Mochi Mango with honey boba which cost around $7. Upon entering, I realized there was a giant wall that had the most popular drinks which really would have helped my decision-making since I was clueless originally about what to try out. Next time I definitely am gonna try the Mango Sweet Dew. The inside of the shop is very clean and simple with a lot of open space. Also because I ordered online, the pick up time was extremely quick despite many people coming in and out to get their drinks. Overall I loved the drink with how fluffy it was and the burst of mango flavor. Highly recommended boba shop to try out if you're in the area! I'll be back next time after a Mango Sweet Dew review. read more

Soybean Dan Gong Milk Tea $5.95: SOS!... the SOYBEAN MOUSSE thouuuughhhh!!!! The tea seeps through and meshes well with the soybean mousse, the whole thing feels perfect. I dont know WHAT they put in the mousse but it's delectable. My go to drink here on out for sure. Mango Sweet Dew $6.95: pretty much mango sago in a cup, with mango, grapefruit, coconut milk. Fresh fruits, so a very refreshing drink. .:: Ambiance / Service / Parking ::. The place is super clean and bright. GUYS hear me out. My friends and I sat in the car after they closed to talk more and catch up. These guys DEEP clean the place when they close. I am a germaphobe so it gives me such a peace of mind to see how clean they were. I'm talking they took 45min-1 hr to clean. They wipe down every single chair 360, sweep, mop, everything. Usually boba shops are a bit dirty so i am quite surprised. It is an order at kiosk type of deal. So not much interaction with the staff. Came on a Friday night, there was one party ahead of us. Our drinks came in about 11-15 min, which we didnt quite mind since it was a bit bustling. Parking is super easy, located in a plaza. read more
Yay!! Another SoCal boba shop has made it's way to the Bay Area! This place is definitely popular for their creamy and refreshing fruity drinks, so definitely consider ordering something like their Cheese Mango, Orange Green Tea, or Avomango Sweet Dew! The Ube Milk is a fan favorite too. I hope they bring the longan milk smoothies to this location in the future... This visit, I tried the Soybean Dan Cong Milk Tea! It is an oolong milk tea base with soybean foam. The oolong is quite fragrant initially and as you drink more... it gets a bit drowned out by the soybean. 3catea takes over the old Cha Cha location in Milpitas. 3catea is a Southern California chain which opened its first Northern California location in Milpitas. When I learned about this, I decided to try it out. The staff were friendly and helpful as I placed my order. While waiting for my drinks, I had time to wander around the spacious interior. I got my drinks, and they hit the spot. I will be back to sample more of their menu. read more
Drinks are aesthetically pleasing but tastes just average. The drinks are very heavy on the milk; it's not a milk tea but rather a tea-flavored milk. I will say the textures of the Ube mochi milk tea worked well, but the Ceylon latte was very ordinary and forgettable. read more

TLDR; standard milk tea, cute cat theme I think this place is middle of the road, not bad or good. Tough considering how close it is to well-known milk tea franchises :/ There are three (!) other milk tea shops in the same plaza, plus two more across the street. I thought the roasted oolong tea was a little weak in flavor, but the soybean mousse was nice and lightly sweet. The cat decor inside is cute (little statues!). The usual tablet kiosks to order, so will need credit card/mobile pay. There's some seating inside and a free parking lot. read more

My friend lives next to this plaza and she kept raving about 3Catea so we decided to get boba after skewer dinner. I noticed there was a cool new bamboo oolong tea drink. I had never tried bamboo tea before so gave it a shot. I also added on osmanthus jelly. It was a really refreshing unique earthy drink that I would get again. I just wish the price was a bit cheaper. read more
