This spot is super lowkey and is in the same plaza as sunright & xing fu tang, (which does make it hard to choose). Right off the bat, the drinks were unique and different from most spots. I tried the osmanthus oolong tea with soymilk foam. This drink was so good and refreshing and the foam was so good. Usually I am not a fan of cheese foam/sea salt cream since it is too rich, but the soymilk foam has a nutty taste to it which compliments the tea very well and isn't overpowering. My only complaint was that I wish the drinks came in a larger size. After a few sips my drink was all gone. I will definitely be back to try more drinks! I'm so glad I tried something new other than boba tapioca's. I didnt have a choice but to get my drink without boba, I got the ube rice mochi for the first time and I'm obsessed. It did take a while to get my drink but considering it was busy and two workers only. I understand it can be stressful working during busy hours. But the manager needs to talk to one of the workers. They make drinks in front of you therefore you wittness/see everything- this boy yelled at his coworker in front of us so many times. Idc how stress you are or if you're a shiftlead dont raise your voice to someone like that especially in front of customers.. They need more staff to prevent this. 3Catea is so cute! This place doesn't look connected to the other stores around the parking lot. Don't be fooled by the exterior. It looks run down but there are a lot of cat decorations inside. That was the first thing I noticed when I entered in this boba shop. Cat figurines and labels everywhere! It was fairly empty. There are plenty of seats around to drink and hang out with your friends. The servers were quiet but efficient in their work. I ordered a Yogurt Strawberry drink. I love how sour it is. My friend's gf really wanted boba from this place, so we rushed over after dinner at Daeho and were able to make it right before they closed at 8:30! Unfortunately, since we were there so late, a lot of their drinks were sold out :( However, I was able to get the mango mochi drink which was really good! The mango pieces and puree at the bottom was super fresh. Even my mom commented that it tasted good and fresh, which is rare cause this lady is always saying things are too sweet lol. The drinkable mochi had nice texture, similar to what you can get at Sunright. Overall, I thought it was a nice balance of mochi, milk, and mango mixed together. They also added some whip cream and tiny wafer pieces at the top, which was a nice addition. Wafer pieces (I think that's how they described it) is a terrible description and doesn't sound super appetizing in a drink. But trust me, it was good, it added a flavor similar to those instant Chinese oatmeals that you can get (you know the ones with creamer and stuff mixed in, iykyk). The shop itself had a ton of small cat figurines, which were super cute. I wish it had more tables and seats though. There was lot of open space that could have been put to good use. read more

Not the kind of boba shop I'd ever go to of my own accord but I went with it to validate a hypothesis. Apparently my definition of good mango flavor is not as refined as it could be. The recommendation I got was for the mochi mango but the mango sweet dew sounded a lot more up my alley so I chose that instead. There were a lot of people waiting for their orders so I took that as a good sign. I'm not sure I could taste any jasmine green tea content in the mango sweet dew but the fresh mango and coconut milk flavors were definitely coming through. I wasn't sure what to expect with the pomelo topping, it was quite tart but as someone that likes sour I can't say I disliked it. The mango definitely reminded me of the super sweet Phillipine ones, which I can't say has ever appealed to me personally but it provided good sweetness and flavor to the drink. I'd totally recommend this spot if you're particular about your sweet mangos, but for me personally I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit. read more

I'll admit I came here for the aesthetics, but it was a clear sign that this place had to be good since it was PACKED on the day of the storm. There was a nonstop line at the two ordering kiosks and plenty of people standing inside waiting for their drinks. I went with a simple, recommended drink: Cheese roasted milk tea with 50% sweetness. You can really taste the roasted oolong in this and the milk does not overtake it at all. The cheese mousse topping is light and velvety. I'd give this drink a solid 8/10. The inside has about five small cafe tables with stools and a long booth style seat. Not really the type of place to study at but more for a casual hangout. There's a lot of cute cat figurines on the counters and fun wall art. This shop is located in a strip plaza with its own parking lot with plenty of spaces. In Milpitas, in a busy strip mall. There is ample parking. Decor on the inside is pretty empty with seating along the back wall. Ordering is done on the kiosk. I enjoyed the flavor of the osmanthus oolong and the biscoff drink back when they had it. Service can be quick or slow just depends on the rush. Decided to try this boba shop for the first time after lunch on a Sunday. Parking is relatively easy in this area with other restaurants so you don't have much to worry about finding a parking spot. Noticed immediately that you can order your drink using a QR code without having to go inside. It wasn't too busy overall, but I would say roughly seven people were in the vicinity. Originally I wasn't able to decide on what to order, but I decided to try the Mochi Mango with honey boba which cost around $7. Upon entering, I realized there was a giant wall that had the most popular drinks which really would have helped my decision-making since I was clueless originally about what to try out. Next time I definitely am gonna try the Mango Sweet Dew. The inside of the shop is very clean and simple with a lot of open space. Also because I ordered online, the pick up time was extremely quick despite many people coming in and out to get their drinks. Really enjoyed it, and ordering it with 25% sweetness was perfect for me.
