Drinks were just ok for us. Would we have it again sure if we are in the area. Nothing really stood out for us. Just a nice refreshing drink on a hot day.
Got the Mochi Mango at regular sweetness and it was perfect -- sweet, creamy, and fun to drink from the texture of the mochi. Definitely a tad bit pricey but worth it for a delicious drink that was hard to put down. It takes a minute to receive your drink so consider ordering ahead if you're in a rush.
Yummy! I really enjoyed how fragrant my jasmine tea was with just the right amount of bitterness and creamy foam in top. The mochi mango drink was really delicious but in the sweeter side. I wanna be back to try more drinks. Our drinks came out within a few minutes and it was pretty much empty when we came. The place itself looks very clean and spacious but there was a weird sour smell.
This is more than give time we visit 3Ctea. Like usual, the spot mango glow taste delicious and satisfying
I really enjoy 3Catea for their really strong tea flavor. It isn't like some stores where they have to add a lot of sugar in order to taste good. From the first sip, the tea flavors really shines through and the milk adds just enough body to the drink to make the tea shine. I always order the jasmine and you can definitely taste the floral notes on top of the green tea. My one complaint about this place is that they are pretty slow in making the drinks as they go in order of when they receive the order. So they don't necessarily prioritize the people ordering in the shop so I usually do have to wait around 10-15 minutes before I can get my drink.
Cute cat themed boba shop! So many cats everywhere. Their cat logos are printed on the walls. Mini cat figurines in different poses fill up the counter. The Mango Sweet Dew had real chunks of fresh mango inside. The blended smoothie also includes jasmine green tea, coconut milk, house made milk, agar boba, and pomelo. Rich taste and thick consistency. It paired well with the Brown Sugar Boba that really soaked up the brown sugar flavor well. The Cheese Strawberry had real bits of strawberry and was creamy from the cheese mousse. This blended smoothie has jasmine green tea as well. We also added Agar Boba, which was nice and chewy. They have a kiosk at the front counter to place and customize your drinks. The wait time can take a while, so would recommend ordering ahead online. I liked that both drinks have fresh fruit in them and the fruity taste really comes forward. Very cooling and refreshing. Will return to try other drinks and toppings!
First time trying 3Catea, and overall we really enjoyed it! We ordered the Avo Mango Sweet Dew and the Mochi Mango, and both drinks stood out for their unique textures and flavor combinations. The avocado mango drink was smooth and creamy without being too heavy, and the mochi mango was fun and different, especially if you like chewy textures in your drinks. The person we went with had tried 3Catea previously in SoCal and mentioned that it didn't quite taste the same or that the mochi felt a bit different, so now we're definitely curious to try it again at another location for comparison. That said, for us personally, we still enjoyed both drinks and appreciated how different they were from your typical boba options. The interior was clean, and the staff was nice and welcoming, which always helps with a first impression. Overall, a solid first experience and a spot we'd be open to revisiting, especially if you're in the mood for something a little more unique.
Pleasantly surprised with the quality here! I heard 3CAT comes from SoCal, but I rarely hear people talk about it up in the Bay. The green tea drinks were tea forward and delicious. I would definitely come back to try other drinks on the menu. RECS: + Jade matcha ($7.25, 4.5/5 stars) had a matcha forward cream top and paired with the jasmine milk tea was delicious + Jasmine cheese mousse ($6.25, 4.5/5 stars) had a pleasant jasmine taste paired with airy cheese foam!
One of the Best Asian Drink Spots in the South Bay - and I've tried many! The drinks here taste premium and high-quality. We ordered the Mochi Mango and the Mochi Barley Burst. The Mochi Mango was a standout - light, refreshing, and creamy with a milkshake-like texture. Once I took a sip, I couldn't put it down. Yes, it's that good! The texture might be a new experience for some people, but it's worth trying if you want to explore the creative side of what a drink can be. If you enjoy fruity, creamy, and delicious drinks, get the Mochi Mango. Think: an Asian-style mango milkshake. Next, we tried the Mochi Barley Burst, which is Floral Black Tea with popping boba and mochi. The tea itself is excellent - not overly sweet, with just the right balance of sugar that still allows the tea flavor to shine. Many places tend to drown their tea with sugar, milk or syrup, but not here. You can tell the tea quality is high. As for the toppings, the popping boba and mochi were decent - fun for texture, but not particularly flavorful. The mochi is minimal and at the bottom. If you're in the mood for something different, it's worth trying; otherwise, I'd recommend the regular Floral Black Milk Tea and save a dollar or two, or opt for adding boba. Overall, 3Cattea is easily one of the better Asian drink spots in the South Bay, and the prices justify the premium taste. Highly recommend!! Bonus Tip: If you order togo, you get a nice takeout bag that you can reuse for other purposes.
I only had 1 drink here and I'm sold. The mochi mango is a refreshing dessert if you're a fan of milkshakes. Last night I was craving a milkshake for the first time in months. I got a Five Guys Oreo shake for about $7 and I thought it was a little too thick and too sweet. Less than 24 hours later, my wife got this mochi mango drink and this turned out to be the milkshake of my dreams. Mochi Mango (5 stars) + Creaminess dulls the sweetness or maybe because we asked for less sugar + Mango mochi at the bottom can be mixed so it's more even but I don't mind the division of goodness. It adds a silky smooth texture to the drink! + Best milkshake density is the only way I can describe how easy it was for me to slurp this delightful dessert drink Service (5 stars) + Didn't have to wait too long although it was somewhat crowded + Kiosk ordering is always a plus Ambiance (Clean) + That's all I can ask for
i got the osmanthus oolong milk tea and liked it a lot. the tea flavor was strong and fragrant. my order took longer to come out compared to other boba shops even when the store was pretty empty, but i didn't mind. the other drinks sound unique, i'll be sure to stop by again when i'm in the area!
Originally ordered the Jasmine milk tea and Mochi Mango, but was told they ran out of jasmine and were brewing another batch; additional 15 minutes. Appreciate that they gave me the option to wait or pick another drink. I went with the Floral black milk tea instead. Not my first choice since I usually don't like "floral" teas, but when I asked if it was really floral, both workers giggled. Drinks did take a while even though the shop wasn't busy, so be prepared to wait. Not docking stars for it, but definitely not the spot if you're in a rush. Store is nice and clean, with a single row of seating (not really a hangout spot for groups). The menu could use clearer descriptions. I was a little intimidated at first glance. Like, what exactly is a "Dragon Well milk tea" or "Floral milk tea"? That said, the Floral black milk tea turned out great. Fragrant, smooth, and not overly floral at all. Wish there was more ice, though. Their "latte" straws (three mini straws stuck together) are... unique, but kinda weird. My only wish is that they'd change the milk tea cups. The design makes them look like hot drinks when they're iced. The Mochi Mango was a winner: great texture from the mochi, creamy, real fruit, not overly sweet, and the crunchy bits worked well. Will definitely be back to try more drinks and to reorder these two favorites.
As for premium pricing and LA boba places to Bay Area. I've never had this place before in LA, so can't compare. This Milpitas place is the only one one the bay area! It is one of the best boba teas I've had. Each drink is closer to ~$10, but wow the flavours are layered and really freaking fruity. -I had the Abo Mango tea and they blend up real mango with a creamy fresh milk top. It really does make up the price because of how premium it does taste. advice: multiple drinks:: order ahead with door dash and it's about ~30mins or less, depending how busy. It is a clean newer place with ambience music inside. Staff is responsive and accurate when getting an order. You can order from terminal or if not counter. They display pre hand some drink orders because of the work it takes. Overall, A must try boba places for the money. -Parking can get hard to find. -Every drink is a good choice, it is also A/C, for these hot summer days. Would recommend & going back for the experience.

Drinks are soooooo goooood. The jasmine milk tea is SO GOOD. Other drinks Ive tried that I think are good are the orange green tea and mochi mango. However Ive tried their boba and tea jelly and they are kind of lacking in quality so I dont recommend getting toppings. Ive also tried their mochi barley milk tea, oolong milk tea, and the other fruit tea, theyre all okay. Service is okay, its an order on kiosk system and sometimes they are slower than most tea shops at making drinks. But hard to complain when the consistensy is always on point and the drink is delicious. Store looks empty and not very lively or colorful. The cat figurines and posters are super cute though! The drinks are also quite pricey (my jasmine milk tea with oat milk is like $7.5) Overall the drinks do outweigh the cons. read more

I first tried 3catea in K-Town LA & I really liked their unique barley burst topping. I was really excited to find out there was a 3catea back home as well. I have tried both their mochi barley burst milk tea & the avomango sweet dew and both drinks did not disappoint!! read more

I love their drinks and I come here quite a lot with my friends! The Matcha Mochi is so yummy. Haven't tried another drink like it. Their mochi is top tier compared to other places and you can actually taste the grains they use to make it! I usually don't get the cream top/whipped cream on it, but in the picture, you can see it with the cream top. 100% would recommend and I want to try their other mochi drinks. The Jade Matcha was also really good. Jasmine milk tea base with a matcha cream top. I was pleasantly surprised since I love to try jasmine teas from different places, and theirs was quite good! The matcha cream top is solid, but the jasmine tea was the highlight for me (I do prefer jasmine teas over matcha). Their service is quite slow, so make sure to order in advance! But that doesn't really subtract from the experience for me since the drinks are so good!! read more

i really like their matcha mochi drink with the soybean mousse,, i first tried the location in irvine/oc so im glad to see that they have a location in the bay area. hopefully they open one in the Fremont area so its even closer. my only issue with the store is that at one point the ac wasn't working so it would feel like a sauna in there sometimes on hot days but it seems like they fixed it recently i think,, i also wish that their bathroom was open to the public bc most of the time its blocked off or says "out of order" some people are driving 20-30 minutes to get a drink from here it would be nice to have a place to use the bathroom. also sometimes it takes time to make the drinks which i dont mind waiting for but on busier days like the weekends there should be more people working so the workers aren't feeling overworked read more

My friend's avocado mango drink was the best! It wasn't aa thick as I thought it would be. It was a really good fruity drink. I really enjoyed my Oreo drink too. It had fantastic mochi at the bottom. There isn't really any seating on the inside, so it's a place just to place an order to go. read more

A cute cat theme boba shop that is not afraid to experiment with textures and ingredients! I've been here twice so far so let's break it down together. Parking experience: There's a lot of parking but it can get a little crowded. It's fairly well spaced so I never felt stressed. Wait: There was a 25 min wait both time but you can order ahead online through snackpass. Drinks: Mochi Mango 4/5 Enjoyed the mango and mochi. very good even at 0% sugar Rice frost 4/5 Unique and would highly recommend! Mango Sweet Dew 3/5 This sweetness level was probably too high for my taste since it was my sisters drink. She got it around 75 i think. We both ended up not finishing it :( read more

Hmmm. I think I need to come here again to see if things change. We ordered online and picked up, it was a speedy process. I loved this spot in San Diego, but the one here tastes a bit different. It didn't taste as creamy - felt more icy. I'll have to give the mango drink another try. Our friends liked the avocado one. read more

Ordered online and it took roughly 30~ for the drinks to be prepared. I ordered the matcha mochi and it was decent. It tastes similar to the Sunright matcha frostie but just with whipped cream and mochi added, so a desert drink. We also got the mango mochi and that one was also decent as well. The mango definitely tastes fresh and wasn't overly ripe. Overall, both drinks weren't too sweet and overpowering, but you would just need to give it a good stir before enjoying. If I were to come back again, I would continue to order online and I would probably try something new on the menu. read more

Drinks: fresh tea w/mousse, fruit tea, cappuccino, fresh milk, fresh milk tea, pure tea. Sips: Soy Bean Roasted Milk Tea (6.25) +.19 operating fee. No ice, no additional sugar. Got default sugar level.- -bells keep ringing inside shop, no idea what it meant. -text message sent when order is ready. -default sugar is plenty sweet. Didn't notice option to reduce sugar. -roasted flava very faint. Not overwhelmed by sugar nor milk. Nice flava would have diluted by any ice. *several drinks have multiple toppings options. Doubtful repeat. Waits are too long. **4 stars for innovative touches re-inventing boba experience. Hits not easily discerned. Trial & error, word of mouth plausible keys to discovery...YMMV. read more

My absolute favorite drink chain!! They have the best homemade mochi topping that is a must try!! Perfectly sweetened, fluffy, and gives you the chewy texture contrast that makes any drink addicting. The poppy barley boba is also another unique ingredient. The barley is slightly sweet adds another textured complexity. If you're in the area, definitely give this a try. I frequent my local location pretty much weekly so of course I had to try their only north cal location!! read more

The interior design in this store was so cute and I loved looking at all the little figurines and art on the walls. Service was relatively quick and I got my drink within about 5-7 minutes. The mochi matcha tasted like a regular matcha drink and the chewiness of the mochi in the middle layer was not for me, but I can see other people enjoying it. I was a bit confused because I got agar boba and expected it to be black tapioca pearls but they ended up actually being clear pearls in the middle layer of the drink. My friend got the osmanthus tea, which I wouldn't recommend if you have a sweet tooth. read more
Just rating for the drink, the Avomango Sweet Dew is interesting and tasted good for me even with 0% sugar. It's a DoorDash order, so I couldn't review the shop or their service or the ambiance. On their menu, the drinks look creative and interesting. Mochi Barley Burst also captured my interest, maybe next time. It's definitely pricey for the DoorDash order of the drink at $8+, thank God it's not out of my own pocket. read more

I fell in love with 3CAT in SoCal. I'm so excited to find a chain here in the Bay Area. It's so delicious that you cannot miss out!!!! I recommend to order in advance using snack pass because the price is decent. My go to drinks are matcha and mango mochi. The store is big, but it has limited seating. I ordered their mango mochi and it was super delicious!!! The mochi made the drink very thick to drink with a straw so I just opened the lid and stirred it a bit and was able to drink it like that. This drink was more of the dessert to me so it wouldn't quench your thirst if that is what you're looking for. The inside was super cute with Cat theme with mini cats decorations! I do prefer my cup to be clear so I can see my drink inside but this drink was so good I don't care anymore! Haha read more

Nah, I would go once to see the cat stuff though. I rather go to the other places near by. Especially at the prices they had it at. It wasn't very creamy and tasted a bit water down. Me and my friends overall did not really enough the experience here. The orders took incredibly long to come out as well. There is two self service kiosks Place is super clean white minimal aesthetic tho. With super cute cats. read more

heard this is the new spot people are hyping up on xiaohongshu. liked the mango mochi over the mochi barley burst. pretty good but mango mochi is similar to offerings of other shops in the bay area. also the store itself is hotter than outside it is hell in there and management needs to do something about the air conditioning this is inhumane. i ordered online so can't speak to service read more
This place has been my current obsession! My favorites are the mochi Oreo and the avomango. The drinks are pricey, $7-$8. Service is slow as well, but the drinks are so good that I keep coming back. They also have an online ordering system if you prefer not to wait in store. read more

The drinks are great, but it takes a ridiculous amount of time to receive them. It doesn't matter if the shop is relatively empty or not, it takes 20+ minutes to make a drink. I came one weekend where there were only a couple people(~3-4 people) waiting in front of me, but it seemed like ALL of us had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for our drink. Another time, I came when it seemed a bit busy and it took more than 40 minutes to get my drink! The screenshot I attached is from the 30 minute mark, and as you can see, order wasn't ready yet. It seems like there's only 2 people making drinks at a time, this seems like a successful place. Please just hire more because the drinks are great. read more

Fast service on a weekday. We all tried their Jasmine milk tea. It was pretty fragrant and had a more floral taste. I got regular sugar but combined with the floral taste, it was pretty sweet. The boba wasn't my favorite as it was a little bit hard. Might have been getting old. read more
