Best orange chicken ever had - hands down. It was just perfection. The accompany vegetables were also delicious. Nothing in this dish was greasy or tasted in any way overly fried. The noodles didn't have a strong garlic flavor, but it was still flavorful. Overall, it was sweet and savory. I highly recommend! For the fries, you can't compare! If you're in the mood for sweet, then I suggest ordering the Bulgogi fries. But if you're in the mood for more savory, then go for the kimchi. Both are good though. The fries were crispy, and the cheese was super gooey. The kimchi fries surprised us though. We thought it was just kimchi, but it had pork and spam! Everything in the kimchi fries meshed really well together. The kimchi fried rice was very good and enjoyable. I wouldn't mind ordering it again. The spicy pork rice bowl was also good. This place is a hidden gem in La Mirada. Not only is the boba and teas delicious the food is out of the world good. My favorites are the Thai tea with boba and the rice tofu bowl. Another favorite is the garlic noodles with filet mignon. The filet mignon is always cooked perfectly and they ask you how you would like it cooked. The restaurant itself is a cute and quaint little place with three tables and bar tops eating seats. The customer service is great because the owners are the ones running the show. A few minutes later the food cane out fresh, and the server even brought out small plastic plates for me and my friend to share the dishes, which I really appreciated. The garlic noodles with steak was good, though I did find myself tiring of the garlic flavor once I was nearly done with the dish. The orange chicken was also good, I did find the veggies and the rice to not be as soft and warm as I'd have liked them to be though. The portions on the food were pretty good, neither me nor my friend managed to finish our meals or our drinks at the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was 10 minutes before closing, but the restaurant owner was so nice and simply said that if the restaurant's still open, it's open (for both food and drinks). We got the strawberry yogurt drink and the popcorn chicken because the latter is how I like to judge boba restaurants for their snacks. Strawberry yogurt - Thick and creamy consistency with a light but nice yogurt flavor. I actually enjoyed the strawberry chunks and strawberry juice syrup at the bottom of the cup, but mixed it with the rest of the drink to bring out more texture. It was just the right sweetness for me. Popcorn chicken - Not your usual spiced Taiwanese style stuff, but it was nice in its own way. Every bit was a good mixture of light (but not salty and oily) batter and chicken chunks, without the cartilage and fatty parts you might sometimes find in popcorn chicken. I've never had popcorn chicken with homestyle ranch, but I loved this particular combo! We really enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner and would definitely come back again to try their yummy-looking pad see ew, bulgogi cheese fries, or garlic noodles.
