Ate at the 1906 grill. The food was good. Ordered the tri tip tacos (great), Asian beef taco (good), shrimp tacos (okay), chips and salsa and 2 drinks. However, the service was a complete disappointment. My husband and I were completely ignored. I had to walk up to the bar to get 2 cups of water after waiting for 30 minutes for them! I also asked for a small cup of cheese for my tacos- I never did see that waitress again that night. There were only 7 tables out of 13 being used at the time. It's not very big inside at all. We tried to get the waiters attention multiple times. They man and woman (waiters) didn't even come by to ask if we needed anything! I've never experienced such bad service. Such a shame cuz this place has potential to be really nice. Maybe they need to hire more employees, but I just have to be honest...they need to do better next time. read more

Ate at the 1906 inc for St.Patrick's day they advertised some specials. Ordered our fish n chips and Ruben's. Hard to believe 15 minutes later they ran out of both for dinner. Poor planning by management. Ended up with regular menu and had a chicken quesadilla which seemed minus the cheese, bland tasting and burnt chicken pieces. Guacamole was filled with more filler than avocado. Burger and tots were good as was tri-tip tacos. read more

We came here on Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday. They had a live band that was a lot of fun the food was excellent and the service was just spot on. The room where the bride and her party are supposed to dress has no air-conditioning! (So don't get married in the summer.) During the ceremony I heard the wait staff talking behind the double doors the entire time. During the reception the wait staff decided to join in the dancing and festivities. The entire facility could use a power wash. Don't order anything from the facilities menu. I'm not sure how you burn under cooked meatballs. The pasta was cold and dry. My sister got married there and I feel bad that her special day was ruined by the management ( the only bright spot at 1906 was Erin) who was not accommodating at all nor were they professional. We have been coming to 1906 Inc. Pub at the Upland Hills Golf Course for about 4 years. It is one of our favorites places to grab a bite!! The food is delicious and the servers are all so nice and helpful, especially Aimee and Krisha! We really look forward to Wed. Nights, when they have Live Music!! It's always a great time!! Highly recommend throwing an event at 1906! I recently just threw my 20 year high school reunion at this venue and it was fantastic. Sierra, the coordinator is fabulous: great communicator, very friendly and a huge help the day of. (I will say, prior to working with Sierra, I worked with two previous event planners who quit in months leading up to my event so that was a major rough patch). Once Sierra was hired, she took immediate action and started communicating with myself. She was clear, concise and friendly along the way. She made a difficult process extremely easy. As for the day of the event, it was perfection. All of the 1906 staff was extremely friendly and personable to myself and our attendees. The bartenders went above and beyond with their kindness with helping set everything up. The general staff was very attentive to any last minute changes I had. Sierra was constantly checking to make sure everything was going well. When our check in table got busy, she hopped in to help (with a smile)! I can't say enough great things about the staff who works here. Also, the owners are THEE MOST lovely people. As for the venue itself, it is gorgeous. The outdoor area is a beautiful grass area and the indoor "tent" is stunning with the lighting and drapery. Even though there was a minor problem in the beginning as I mention previously, I will ALWAYS recommend this venue to anyone who wants to throw a party. Great price point, great staff and great experience. Thank you to Sierra for helping make our day so special. If you're considering this venue for a party or wedding, go check it out during the day sometime! They have an awesome bar and restaurant right next to it on the golf course which has great food. Came here for a beautiful wedding. The wedding was outside in a nice space. After the ceremony was over, all of the guests had to wait in the parking lot for a while because they were not done setting up inside the tent. As soon as we got clearance to go inside and be seated, I noticed the tent had 8 fans on the ceiling and only 1 was working (it was over 90 degrees outside) their was only 1 air conditioner vent working and it only was for people sitting in the middle of the tent. As the night went on and food came out, we realized none of the servers were coming to the back tables. We asked our server about the food situation (never got his name), but he was EXTREMELY rude with his responses to us. He constantly rolled his eyes at us. Would laugh and cater to other tables, but when it came to our table, he would not do anything to appease our needs. Dropped ice all over one of the guests and blamed if on the guest. When asked about food yet again, his response was "Well what do you want me to do?" After asking so many times, 2 of the guests actually left the actual wedding due to his poor attitude. He also bumped into the groom himself by accident. No apologies whatsoever. Actually acted like he wanted to fight the groom. COMPLETELY unprofessional! After talking with the bride and groom, we were told electronics were left outside from the ceremony, and the actual venue turned on the sprinklers while the wedding was going on and got all the electronics wet. Got a suit from a member from one of the wedding party soak and wet. Yet again, no remorse. The outdoor activities for the kids who attended the wedding were ruined, and it seems as if this venue and its employees have no remorse for how they treat guests here. Less than a week from the wedding, they were served with a "noise ordinance." They also tried to shut the wedding down an hour and a half before what was originally within the contract. I definitely would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Save your money. This place is money hungry, but can be careless about how they treat people and their guests. read more

Upland Chamber just had our one club golf challenge and 1906 Inc. handled all of our catering needs. The golfers loved it! Drinks out on the course with the golf drink cart. Jeff constantly checking on us to make sure all our needs were handled. Food was delicious and service too! Wow that have brought the decor up to date inside and out. Wow! We had a Phenomenal Wedding at this venue and an Amazing experience with the staff!! First, Kudos to Aubrey for being a Fantastic wedding planner at 1906!! I can't say enough about Aubrey!!! From our first phone call, to our in person meetings, all the way up to the wedding day everything went smoothly!! We booked this venue for our big day right before Covid started under the old owner and had several issues. We were beginning to worry and get nervous, however in early March of this year (2021) we were contacted by Aubrey and it was explained to us the old owner was gone and it was under new management. From our first phone call from Aubrey all of our worries and frustrations had disappeared!! We scheduled a meeting with Aubrey during that first phone call and when we did meet in person she put us at ease and we knew instantly we would be well taken care of!! We discussed everything from colors to food to flowers to linens, etc. We had ideas, she had ideas, and it just became a big brainstorming session which was great!! Aubrey also helped us find a photographer and DJ! She kept in contact with us through the entire process and any time We had a question or concern she always responded either via phone call or text message!! We never once had to worry that something wouldn't be done correctly. We had a rehearsal the evening before the big day; we worked out some last minute details and went through how the ceremony would proceed. The day of the wedding had finally arrived (10/21/21) and the reception area and ceremony site were decorated beautifully!! We couldn't have asked for anything more!! The ceremony went off without a hitch, the staff during the reception were awesome and so attentive to not only us, but our guests as well! The food was fantastic; we had the chicken with lemon caper sauce, santa maria Tri-tip, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, veggies, and rolls. They even made 5 special vegan dishes for my guests which they all loved and appreciated. I can't say enough about how fantastic our experience was!! If you're looking for a venue for your wedding or party this is definitely the right place. Aubrey is a major asset to 1906 and you're in good hands with her!! Thank you Aubrey and 1906 for such a wonderful experience and a memorable wedding! All of our guests are still raving about what an epic wedding it turned out to be!!! read more
