Went here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon for Oktoberfest and the band was great, everyone was friendly, bartenders were very nice, great view of the golf course and mountains, and the couple that works there regularly making Mexican food were awesome, as was their food! Hidden gem! With good food.. beautiful view of the golf course. There is indoor and outdoor dining ... outside has a cute patio lined with lights, perfect for a nice warm summer night . Service was fast and friendly. We have been here twice once in the evening and once for breakfast and each time the food was delicious. So i was invited here for music bingo, I had to come straight from work and was told don't worry they have burgers and pizza. Biggest understatement. Full menu I had the surf and turf wrap so delicious! My husband had a bacon breakfast burrito which he really enjoyed. We also got to try a bite of that's night special which was a Buffalo chicken sandwich amazing I didn't order this because I didn't want the average chicken sandwich this was anything but average. My cocktail was also so so good I had the rasberry lemonade with vodka. It was hard to choose everything on their signature cocktail menu sounded good. She was attentive, seemed genuinely kind, checked up on us often, and got the job done efficiently and most importantly, had a great attitude. I could tell a lot of the tables, ours included, wanted separate checks. I remember hating that when I was a waiter. Jessica took it on efficiently and with a great attitude. She was able to upsell without being pushy - when someone is that kind, you naturally don't mind buying appetizers, drinks, etc. I appreciate any business and or employee who does not make me feel badly for using cash. This is becoming more and more rare as many employees pout when they see cash. Jessica had a great attitude and I appreciate that a lot! Props to the chef as well - I really like the chicken tacos! We had our after-the-wedding breakfast at 1906 Inc. It was a last-minute decision, but Alyssa made the process effortless. She gave options on how to have the room set up, and helped me pick out the perfect option. We ordered a buffet breakfast with French toast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a fruit tray. The company I work for needed a new venue for our annual holiday party, so we decided to try this place due to a few of our guys being regulars who golf at Upland hills. Alyssa was the director who I dealt with on the planning, she made everything very easy and followed all requests we had. Bert was our banquet captain, he was very pleasant and professional as well as attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed and that every single guest was taken care of along with his team and the bartenders who were all smiles and very attentive as well. Our party was in the tent on the property which was perfect, it even already had a Christmas tree so I didn't have to do a ton to make the environment festive. I was there last Thursday with my MIL and her group of friends. While they had Thursday NFL on, the sound was not overbearing, which is why MIL and her friends choose this place for their weekly get together. However, the NFL promos were very much enjoyed! The Carne Asada and Chicken tacos are so flavorful and with the fresh salsa bar OMG!! We were fortunate to meet up with owners, Kevin and Traci and sampled their "Meat Candy" Dr Pepper infused ribs! I threw a 50th Anniversary party for my parents at one of 1906's banquet rooms and I was really impressed. The venue was perfect for our little event. The service staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were well taken care of. Our bartender, Amanda, was pure gold. She did a lot more than make sure our glasses were always full.... She had amazing energy, she helped to quickly resolve a couple little issues we had with the food and the music system, and she took a ton of group photos for us. Heard a lot of positive things about this place so I went there for the first time today . We thought it was a restaurant because they offer brunch and other meals , but it's really just the little café /bar for the golfers I guess. We walked in. Wasn't busy. One server washing the windows saw us walk in. People at the bar saw us. Bartender saw us. Waited there for about 5 minutes. No one even acknowledged us . Turned around and left. 1906 - Sunday football menu - American Near Me - Upland, California

On Saturday, January 20th, I had a surprise 60th birthday party for my husband. We had close to 30 people invited. We live in Fort Worth, Texas, so trying to coordinate a party in California while living in Texas was challenging. I had originally planned to have the party at a different venue, but there was some hesitation on my part due to cost of food and drink. Because I couldn't just hop in the car and sit down with the person in charge, I started to question the location. This was about a week before the event. We used to live in the area and we still had friends there. I reached out to our friends who live near the golf course. They offered to look into getting prices and information for 1906 Pub and Grill for me because they had been to different events there. This is when Summer came into the plans. She met with our friends and gave them food options, pricing and general information that was then relayed back to me. It was perfect! Summer suggested a printed menu with a few food options for the guests to choose from which made things so easy. Summer was very responsive if I needed anything. To say a big weight was lifted off my shoulder was an understatement! The big day came and it was PERFECT!! I did not have to worry about anything. The menus were printed, the tables were reserved and our guests had no problems. Jordyn was our server for the evening and everything went smoothly. She was attentive to our guests. My husband was surprised, the food was delicious and it was a birthday my husband will never forget. The three items on the menu that we chose for our guests to choose were the BBQ Chopped Salad, the Shrimp Tacos, and the 1906 Burger. All our guests had to do was pick up one of the printed menus from our tables that staff had provided and mark their choices and even be specific on what they wanted taken off of the dish they choice. (Ex. Burger toppings) Jordyn collected the menus and in no time at all, the dishes came out at the perfect temperature, fresh, tasty, and accurate! I asked around afterwards and everyone seemed pleased at what they ordered. One of the big playoff football games was on that night so our guests had a great time cheering their favorite teams on. The noise level, even with a big game on, wasn't too loud and we could still have conversations. 1906 Pub and Grill is a great venue, for the food, the drinks, the fun atmosphere and for the hardworking employees.
