Been here multiple times with different menus each time. Never had a bad meal/experience.

This was my first visit to the Dublin location of 101 Beer Kitchen, but frequented the Westerville/Polaris location often. The food is consistently good among locations and I don't think I've had a bad meal there. I sat on the patio, which was nice, and I ordered the Avocado Toast which is really a grilled cheese topped with avocado and an over-easy egg. The Celtic Cocktail Trail is what brought us to 101 Beer Kitchen today, and the Irish Isle cocktail was delicious. I would definitely order that again! read more

What is there not to love! From the Loaded Tots to the Beer and everything in between this is a great place for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner!

By far me and my boyfriends favorite restaurant. So good we've eaten there 3 times this week!! Their menu has variety for any type of eater and will make slight adjustments through the season. Their food is consistently well made. Their service is great, love the bartenders. We get the cheddar ale soup pretty often and let me just say- best soup I've ever had at a restaurant. 101 is tucked away in a mall, far enough off Sawmill that I missed it at first. The decor is nice, sort of understated but classy. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. And man, what I got was good. First, I had a hard time choosing between the much-lauded deviled eggs and the cheese curds. But somehow, the curds seemed even less healthy, and I can always come back, so I got the eggs. The actual eggs and filling are pretty standard, but the toppings of bacon, chives, and fried capers add some great variety. There were plenty of interesting things on the lunch menu, but I went with the Mojo pork. Marinated pork, French bread, fresh veggies. Almost a banh mi, but bigger. Every aspect of it was great, and everything worked well together. It came with superb black beans and rice. I can't think of any minuses; everything about this place made me happy. Okay, the sandwich started to slide apart because there was so much on it, but I just ate the extra off my plate; I'm not that picky. Plus, I wasn't able to have beer since I was on the way to work, but that's not their fault... I will be back. Maybe tomorrow. And there's another one in Gahanna? My dining companions are regulars to 101BK, so whenever I'm in town, this place is always on the schedule for a drink or dinner. The menu of "rustic food" options is fairly expansive with great gastropub fare. They are pizzas, massive salads, creative appetizers, several burgers and hot sandwiches and about a dozen entrees boasting crafted cuisine such as roasted harissa chicken, mussels, trout, salmon, shrimp and grits. On my most recent visit tonight I tried the beef stroganoff. Beef stroganoff is a challenging dish because the meat is often pretty dry and it's usually more about drowning it all in a sauce that will distract you from the dryness. That was not the case at 101BK. The big chunks of beef were fork tender and moist! The spaetzle tasted soft and homemade. It also had big chunks of quartered roasted cremini mushrooms, caramelized onions and crispy "angry" onion strips atop. It had tomato chutney but just a dab, and I wish there had been more of this. But overall it really was an incredible dish! My dining companions and I also had the beer battered fried wild mushrooms (cremini, portobello and shiitake) which was amazing! Too often this dish is too chewy, but it was nicelky crispy and you could bite right through the mushrooms! Amazing draft beer selection, including local brews, and a bountiful list of liquors including local vodka. The seasonal cocktail menu list was great, and I enjoyed the Pimm's Pint which was like a traditional Pimm's Cup but had fruit blended in as a puree additionally and also a splash of Weihenstephan. read more

Went here for dinner with a friend on Friday, 3/1. Was told it would be a long wait, but the manager pulled some strings and got us a table which was very kind. The service was wonderful and our drinks were great. We both ordered fish and chips and both of our dishes were not good. One of my pieces was cold. The other was lukewarm. None of them had any flavor, and the coleslaw was bland. I've eaten here before and had many good meals, so maybe this was just a fluke, but $22 for cold fish was disappointing. read more

When I order that, I was just expecting the typical tater tots like every other places. Their tater tots is crunchy and pack with other goodness, along with a touch of sriracha sour cream. Also, you can never compliant to the delicious crème brulee. Overall, I love everything little uniqueness that they put into the restaurant. Amazing beer selection. Amazing food. Amazing happy hour deals. I can't think of much to complain about from my most recent visit here. This place blows away some of the other, more standard local pubs like the Winking Lizard and The Old Bag of Nails in terms of food quality. On the other hand, it won't break the bank like other fancy gastropubs like Cameron Mitchell's The Pearl. It's too bad their only location is off of Sawmill Rd in Dublin-- I hate the traffic in that area. It'd be awesome if they opened a second location in Upper Arlington or downtown some day! read more

My wife, daughter, and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were completely impressed with the relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant layout, low volume of noice (even though it was 75% full), the choices of sandwiches and entrees, the reasonable prices, friendly service, and professionalism of the manager who stopped by to check on us! I ordered the salmon sandwich with a side of green beans. The sandwich was good, but the green beans had too much basil pesto on them. They were heavily coated with oil. My boyfriend ordered a brownie with ice cream on top for dessert, which he said was very good. This was during COVID when restaurants were just allowed to open up, so their menu was limited. Menu changes seasonally, which keeps it interesting and fresh from lunch to dinner to brunch and cocktails. Always a good time. Can be busy during dinner hour, especially on weekends. You must check out their brunch menu! Only things I haven't been 100% satisfied with have been some of the desserts, but there are always plenty of new cocktails so I don't mind. Kids: The best! Traditional, but not. My son always finds something he likes, but main choices often have a twist, such as pretzel coated chicken tenders, and an "adult" option such as seared Scottish salmon. Get to choose 2 sides and a treat, which all comes on an old-school divided lunch tray. Sides are changed seasonally along with the menu and offer more unique options like deviled eggs or watermelon along with traditional kid's side choices (potato chips or fried and mandarin oranges or applesauce). read more

Lunch at 101 beer kitchen! I heard the menu changes seasonally which is very creative! Our table ordered the loaded tater tots, fish and chips, chicken and lobster mac n cheese! Everything was delicious!!! The tater tots were rich and cheesy! Fish was fresh and went amazing with the sauce while the fries were so good! Chicken was filled with favor, the green beans were too sour for me but the potatoes and gravy was delicious! First found about here after my wife met up with her girlfriends for a brunch but it's been a neighborhood staple ever since! It's good food if you like to experiment with your cuisine. Hard to recommend any particular item because they frequently change the menu. I give this place 3 stars for a couple of reasons, and my reasoning should be considered if you're looking for a review to decide if you want to try this place. First, I don't like to be adventurous with my cuisine, so the rotating menu is really just annoying to me. I go infrequently, so each time I'm there, it's like going for the first time. I have learn the menu. It's foodie cuisine, so I have to read the list of stuff they're throwing together to make a dish. Then I have to decide if it sounds decent. Usually I can find something to enjoy, but usually it's just one thing on the menu that I would try. If you're not wanting to be adventurous, then options are a bit slim. The second thing is once I find something I really enjoyed, it won't be on the menu the next time I go. I like to frequent places I like, because I'll find a favorite. Then when I'm in the mood for that dish, I know which restaurant I want to go to. It's hard see this place as one of those restaurants. You'd have to be in the mood to try something new and somewhat exotic, but have no inkling of what you'd like to try. Zero expectation of what might be available. On the positive, the food is quality. They definitely have a talented chef designing the menu, and it's always prepared very well in both taste and appearance. Any dish you get could be the model used for the menu picture. Service is good, and it's a friendly and clean atmosphere. You won't have a long wait for your food, and the servers are very attentive. I'm short, this place just isn't for me. If you're like me, and you desire some consistency in your restaurant's offerings, then this is not the place for you. If, however, you are a foodie or just in the mood to be adventurous, then I would fully endorse this as an option for you. read more

We ordered delivery from here this evening. There was a mixup with the delivery (some food we had asked he packaged separately due to allergy reasons wasn't packaged separately) but the restaurant went above and beyond to fix the problem. They prepared a new order for our son and then drove it over themselves! Besides the excellent service in terms of fixing the mistake, the food itself was all quite good. I loved the blue cheese potatoes and my wife was quite pleased with her lemon chicken. My son ate every bite of the new steak that was delivered. He also said the BBQ chips that he ate while waiting for his new order to arrive were very good. Mistakes happen and 101 Beer Kitchen went out of their way (literally) to make things right for us. My boyfriend and I used their call ahead Weston because we knew they would have a wait on a Friday. They said it would be an hour to hour and a half. We got there after an hour and had to wait like 15-20 minutes. The food is amazing here! We got the tater tots as a starter. (Why I come here) I got the pork belly Cuban sandwich with Mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the pretzel crusted chicken sandwich with sour cream and onion chips. We split each so we could try everything. His chicken sandwich was really good, the chips didn't have any seasoning at all. My Cuban sandwich was absolutely wonderful! I will for sure have it again. 101 Beer Kitchen is the restaurant where you want to taste and witness everything. All the way to their mouth-watering food, inviting staff and be apart of the rustic yet wholesome atmosphere. This flavorful establishment changes their menu with each season. I get so excited when I look on their social media or hear from one of their upbeat bartenders all the teasers for their next delectable dishes or appetizers. This winter menu is one of my favorites. I love the comforting warm rich flavors in each individual dish the chefs makes. It makes me believe they put love in everything they create. My personal favorites; starting with the appetizers would have to be the poutine. If you don't know what poutine is you are missing out. This appetizer is with crispy golden fries, with melt-in-your-mouth fontina cheese and the most fall apart tasteful braised beef then topped with rich red wine gravy. I can't get enough of this. I order it pretty much every time I go in. For my entree I honestly can't choose one. If I have to choose it would have to be the Chicken Milanese. 101 Beer Kitchen doesn't always do a pasta. But, this insanely creamy dish is 100% incredible. This entree has a seasoned crispy chicken breast on the bottom then topped with Linguini pasta with the most supreme tomato cream sauce with spinach, broccolini and artichokes. In my opinion the broccolini could be left out. Other than that it's still my go-to. Last and certainly not least the dessert. Four words: PEANUT. BUTTER. OREO. PIE. Yes, please! This pie is like a childhood blast in the mouth. The crust is Oreos filled with smooth velvety peanut butter mousse and drizzled with chocolate sauce. They also put fresh peanuts on top. All and all. I really hope you try 101 Beer Kitchen and all its tasty glory. read more
