I have a 1oz merch section in my closet, that's how much this place is loved by me. The service never fails to amaze me, and my coffee is consistently made right. You can tell that they care about the food they serve (the everything toast is my favorite). Super rude customer service! Got yelled at for taking a picture of the menu because they didn't want pictures. Like what? Then I stood there waiting for them to take my order and they just kept staring until I asked if I was able to order they took my order with an attitude. Crowded. Some inside and outdoor seating available. Staff are hustlin' and busy, not the most upbeat coffee staff I've encountered. I really came here because of the latte flight I saw on IG. It was $17 for the iced versions with oat milk. I probably should have gotten it hot. The amount poured in each small cup was just enough for a good taste and then some, but also not having a caffeine rush. The ube and matcha were the best ones. The seasonal tasted like chai but also very watered down (again I should have gotten the flight hot). The original tasted just like a regular coffee. It looked pretty, but that's all there was to the flight. Was it worth it? Na. Get what you like or try a drink on it's own. No one needs 4 classes for $17 in this economy haha. read more

7/18/24 12 pm. The interior is super cute. Not a lot of seating thought. I noticed that some people do sit down and work on their computer. We ordered the mini latte flight and a pandan popcorn. Latte flight ($15) for four different flavors (original coffee, seasonal, ube, matcha). I gotta say. They looked beautiful. Thank you barista. However only half of the drink were actually good. The best goes to the ube. It had a rich flavor. Although the matcha was slightly lacking, it would be nice if they put more matcha powder in it, it passed. The original was average coffee. The worst was seasonal. It lasted like cinnamon with other spices in it. We didn't even finish that one. -1 Pandan popcorn ($8). This was quiet an expensive bag of popcorn but it was also one of the best. Despite the bright green look, it was not overly sweet. Plus you can taste the slight pandan flavor. It was defiantly worth the try. Overall. A cute spot to stop by. read more

We tried the coffee flight (our favorite because we got to try 4 different types!) and loved the lavender coffee. The matcha latte was not sweet at all but not a crowd favorite. The croissant was delicious (we asked them to heat it up!) and overall a nice, quiet cafe to get work done or catch up with friends. read more

Love 1 oz coffee! All of their drinks are delicious and they also have brunch and pastry items. Their dirty chai is one of my go tos since it's strong and also tastes great! The Mountain View location specifically does the latte and single origin flights and having recently tried the flight not only isn't a fun a concept the lattes are also delicious! We came in on a busy Saturday morning for the flight so we had to wait for 7ish minutes but totally worth it! Would definitely recommend. read more

Conveniently located in Mountain View downtown, this cafe was the perfect first stop while strolling through the street. There was plenty of seating and we were able to find a table despite how busy it was. We got the coffee flight to sample multiple flavors. The drinks didn't take long to come out considering that each drink was carefully crafted with design and latte art. My favorite was the ube latte! It was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. A close second would be the cookie butter late--the seasonal drink (Dec 2024). Both drinks were unique and well balanced. The normal latte was alright and kind of plain. I also thought the matcha was very disappointing and had a grassy flavor, despite being a fan of matcha. Overall cute vibes and friendly cafe! Heard about this place for a while. Finally gotten a chance to stop by. We got the cookie butter cap and Ube latte, they were both delicious , also we tried the pandan mochi, was also super chewy and delicious. Plenty of seats and it was a nice ambiance to sit in, staff are super nice. There's a wall you can leave your notes on, and we were having fun looking thru the notes. More bounce! To the Ounce! Much more bowownce than Tigger on a tail pounce! This cute and janky lil shop had the boba vibes going on my last couple of visits but tolerable while sipping on caffeine. Service is great and they do latte art plus they serve the Joe in mugs if you're staying in. That alone elevated the experience. First up was the Ube latte that was spot on with flavor and presentation. Next up was a Chai latte that was also on point with full flavor. The last drink was a tonic espresso that came out in a glass so you can see the different shades of color. Just a little minor detail they missed, the lime wedge and a well carbonated tonic water but other than that it was all good. And that's my take on this shop, Peace. read more

Such a cute & cozy little coffee shop I stumbled upon while I was looking for an UPS store (which is literally next to this coffee shop). Went inside to try their coffee and decided on getting their seasonal item- Lavender Honey Latte. I usually dislike sweet drinks but this lavender honey latte was just perfect! Not too sweet and has the perfect lavender taste with a hint of honey and a good amount of espresso to keep you awake for the day. I also noticed many people ordering the mini latte flight that comes with 4 small glasses of latte in different flavors. I will definitely be back soon to try their latte flight next time. read more

I came specifically to try the latte flight ($12), which is such a cool concept. I wish other coffee shops offered this. It's a great way for a first timer to try their different lattes. The lattes you get are: 1. Seasonal Latte - it was a Honey Latte (4/8/24) 2. Regular Latte 3. Matcha Latte 4. Ube Latte (no caffeine) I liked them all, but the regular latte was my favorite (lol). The Honey Latte and Ube Latte were a tad too sweet for me. The Ube was unique and creamy, and so pretty (look at that color!). If you like ube, you would like this latte. The matcha latte was good too, probably my 2nd favorite of the 4. Service was great, very friendly staff. The store is super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. It reminds of the coffee shops from my Berkeley college days. There's plenty of free parking around the neighborhood, including a free city lot a block away on Mercy. read more

I grabbed one of the bag of beans and the barista told me that I get a "free or discounted drink" with my purchase. I was pleasantly surprised and I got a small cold brew for free. He listed other options such as a latte for $1.50, but I declined because I wanted to save my drink for the next day. I did not think the cold brew was anything noteworthy, but I will definitely come back to try their ube latte. read more

1oz is an outdoor coffee shop located in the center of a business complex. Theres lots of outdoor seating & free parking. They do close early around 1pm. We ordered the Ube Latte & Matcha Latte. There is no coffee in this but the flavors of the Ube and matcha were prominent. It was sweet & creamy. The only con is that it was a tad pricey. read more

1 Oz has become my favorite espresso spot in town. I moved here from a city with a very robust coffee scene and have my own at home manual espresso machine and grind my own beans every day. I may be a little obsessed with it at this point. The competition down the street also pulls a good shot, but 1 Oz is just a bit higher tier. A more robust flavor profile, thicker mouth feel, and fun treats on tap. They also have visiting roasters featured in their shop, which I absolutely love. Way to keep me coming back. Start your day the right way. Great coffee and service. Baristas know their stuff. The cafe is small and fair amount of seating. I often see people studying or sipping a nice brew in or outside. They offer cold brews, espressos and pour overs that you'd typically get at Third wave coffee shops. Their bean all have fruity notes. They ask how you want your pour overs. One will extract more fruitier notes whereas the other one doesn't. I had mine where it's not as fruity with the Ethiopia beans. Coffee taste is great, a little sour but goes away after cooling down. read more

Super cute space and friendly employees. The barista working that day was indeed skilled in latte art which doesn't necessarily make the coffee but it sure brings a smile when you pick up your drink. I really appreciate their creative menu as well as their specials. I ordered the Orange Dreamsicle Latte which had orange, coconut and cardamom. It was really tasty and loaded with cardamom. There was a variety of snacks (granola and gourmet popcorn), bagged beans, coffee accessories as well as coffee makers that were for sale. They carry MiiR coffee cups in both tumbler and traveler in the 12oz in super cute pastel colors of pale pink and pale blue. If I didn't already have so many, I might have bought one. Minus 1 star for how expensive this place was and the upcharge for nondairy milk. Honestly, I know more people who prefer non-dairy milk over dairy. Nearly every time I'm having coffee with a friend, no one is asking for dairy milk anymore (and they're not necessarily vegan either). Dairy is simply not as desired now given that other options that exist. Another thing- There was a variety of small batch pastries which looked good but unfortunately there were 0 options for vegans or gluten free friends. For a coffee shop so new and modern, I'd come to expect there to be at least one vegan and one gluten free item or the obligatory 2-in-1 gluten free + vegan cookie that one could order. read more

I came here on Sunday afternoon specifically to try new mini latte coffee flight for $12 that includes Single Latte, Single seasonal Latte, Matcha Latte, Ube Latte. This is an amazing choice if you cannot decide what you want and an opportunity to try new flavours. For example, I've tried Ube latte for the first time, and it turned out to be a perfect non-coffee experience with an ice cream taste:) The staff is amazing and friendly, I love being here to enjoy their company. Had a Ube latte, it was pretty good but the flavor was a bit mild I think. The portion was little for a 7$ drink. The service was pretty quick. There is limited space for seats at the cafe but some spots available outside as well. I might come back to try the actual coffee. read more

I find that whenever I come here I'm kind of disappointed. I've been here a few times, and have left empty handed most of them because they sell out of everything so quickly and don't seem to bake more. They're usually open from 7 am to 5 pm-- I've come in at 2 pm, nothing--came in at 11 am, nothing, came in at 10, barely any stock of pastries left. If you're selling out within the first 2-3 hours of opening with 7-8 hours left to go for the day, you need to make more... Their drinks are good, I always like them here. I've been here four times, have only been able to get pastries once, and of what I was able to try, they were pretty good. Their flavors for some things are really unique, which is why I was interested in coming here in the first place. Ambiance is pretty normal, it's a nice shop although pretty small. The location is pretty out-of-the-way for me, so it just sucks when I go all the way up to MV to try their things, just for them to be completely out of stock so early on. I probably won't try anymore unless I happen to be in the area at the crack of dawn... Edit: Also the prices are ridiculous!! $8 for a tiny matcha latte... make the cups bigger if you want to charge that much! read more

This coffee shop is small and cute. Limited indoor seating with small tables. Some shaded seating available outside. Not really great for doing work but okay for a quick hang out. Ordered a honey cinnamon latte - not bad but nothing to write home about. Got a veggie turkey bagel sandwich - tasty and filling but was not wrapped well which made it kind of messy to eat. read more

The second time came to this location. Had the mango matcha and the chocolate hazelnut croissant this time. The combination of mango and matcha was very smooth. I was standing at the glass for a while before being acknowledged. Someone finally came over, and I asked if the Ube Black Sesame cookie was vegan since the display writing was a bit smudged. The staff member confirmed, so I got that cookie and a Gingersnapperdoodle since I loved it before. I also asked about the Brownie, but did not receive a very helpful reply. My question: Is the brownie very rich? The response: It's like any other brownie. I'm not a fan of chocolate items that are super rich, and some brownies are fudgy, but some are more mild. I'd expect someone working there to be a bit more helpful and descriptive. I ended up not getting a brownie. Lowering my rating because the service was subpar, and the Ube flavor was nonexistent in the Ube Black Sesame cookie. The Gingersnapperdoodle was still yummy like before, but had a more sandy texture than last time.

There are a couple of tables in the inside and a lot outside for you to sit! The cashier at the counter was very friendly and attentive. We waited around 10 minutes for our drinks, where we were able to take our sandwiches from the refrigerated portion of the case. It seems like there are sandwiches you can order where they will make it for you in the back, which I would like to try next time. Between me and my partner, here is what we got: * Sakura iced coffee: this exceeded my expectations! I thought the Sakura flavor came through without being too sweet and surprisingly the coffee did not overpower it and complemented it very well. * Banana matcha: this might be one of the first banana matchas I have had that did not taste artificial. I really like how they give you a small spoon shovel so you can eat some of the pudding top. So cute! * Egg sando: very yummy and they used the perfect amount of mayo. It was a light, delightful bite. * Strawberry sando: now this is the overall winner that stole my heart! This might be the best strawberry sando I had and I was surprised! Their strawberries were not only fresh and crisp, but the deep sweet vanilla bean flavor you got from the whipped cream was phenomenal! I usually do not care for strawberry sandos but this one got my attention! Overall, awesome place in Mountain View!

I got their special, which was a coconutty drink with whipped cream as a bit of a treat on a dreary, rainy day. They did get my hot/cold preference wrong, but I didn't mind that day. There isn't much in the way of seating, although the inside is nice and cozy. Baristas/cashiers are friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the menu. Service is a little bit slow as they do seem to get backed up quickly, but we were just hanging out and happy to savor our drinks on a weekend so it wasn't a big deal. Would definitely like to come by again and try other drinks!
