This café has a casual look as if you're in a University dorm common room with students sprawled on seats/sofa with their laptops open. It was hot (!) in MV so I tried an iced strawberry matcha which was advertised on a flyer posted by the cashier. The matcha was strong tasting and beautifully green. The strawberry turned out to be strawberry milk(?) or strawberry syrup in the oat milk. In any case, I found this to be Not pleasant and artificial. At $8+ (which included tax), the drink was a big disappointment.
Such a cute little coffee spot in Mountain View downtown. Make sure you keep time on hand on weekend mornings. There is a bit of a line and wait for the order. You have limited seating inside but there are few chairs outside shop as well. I tried their seasonal Cardamom rose latte and it was delicious!! Also my kid loved their ducky cake pop!
Amazingly good coffee at this small place. I love finding these type of smaller independent coffee shops....I do believe they have another location as well... They source their beans from roasters....and the gal who helped me in the front I asked for a couple of recommendations for pour over drip....and the one she chose was way better than I expected! There is some seating in there and enough space outside as well to just relax and chill...I sat at the community table and enjoyed the coffee....I even had to go back the next day but I got a latte the next day.... I would definitely come back here if passing by or staying in Mountain View again...they do close quite early (5PM)....so I had to get a cup from Peets nearby and I told the guy I've been going there...and he even said Oh Yeah there coffee is good! Confirmed from another Barista!!!
TLDR : Wonderful cofffee, lovely ambience and pleasant staff to talk with. The ube latte was truly amazing and the other cofffees were great as well. Overall a nice cozy coffee shop.
Stopped in for a matcha latte, line moved quick and baristas work fast! My latte was so delicious and just what I was craving. I got oat milk and a little honey. Love the vibes inside, very cozy. Parking wasn't bad either! Pet friendly patio and vegetarian options!
I'm really sad to give this place 2 stars because I've been here many times before and genuinely loved it. Unfortunately, the last two visits left us feeling unwell. The first time, I assumed it was something unrelated since my husband didn't get sick; but he had a non-iced drink. When we returned and both ordered iced drinks, we both felt sick again afterward. I can't say for sure what the cause was, but the pattern made me wonder if there might be an issue with the ice or ice machine; or maybe someone was ill who was handling the food. I'm sharing this in hopes it's helpful and gets looked into, because I truly used to enjoy coming here and would love to feel comfortable returning.
Visiting my son at Mountain View and stumbled onto this place. Feels like a ma and pa coffee shop, pretty busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon. A lot of locals hang out with their laptops, reading, a very chill vibe. The servers are so sweet and bubbly. I got my oat milk latte and the hummus bread recommended by the staff. The coffee was immaculately made, with lovely bubbles and perfect, painstakingly created coffee art. Wow. The toast was a chunky soft wheat bread, orange humus, tomato, basil leaves, balsamic vinegar, and a surprise touch of hot sauce, filling and delicious. Wonderful experience!
I stopped in on a Wednesday morning around 7:30 and walked right up to order at this cute little shop. Decor wasn't anything fancy but still inviting. The staff were warm and quick! I really enjoyed my coffee. I ordered one of the seasonal drinks, Kauai, and really enjoyed it. High quality flavors.
Sorry to say, Hojicha latte have been misses lately, it just tastes watered down. There is a better coffee place in Santa Clara to learn the taste from.
Stopped by 1 Oz Coffee for some much needed caffeine. Placed an order for the Mini Latte Flight which included: Classic Latte, Lavender [seasonal flavor], Ube, & Matcha. I added my request to have the flight made with oat milk. The line was long and the coffeehouse was a lot smaller than expected. Seating inside was filled up by the time we arrived but there were plenty of tables outdoor. Don't be deterred when you see the long lines, staff works really well at moving things along. Be sure to assist in that by having your order already decided by the time you make it to the registers. Coffee was great. Flavors weren't artificial and overly strong in masking the caffeine aspect. Presentation was great and each mini latte contained some coffee art! 4 stars.
1oz coffee is worth all its hype!!! What a cute little cafe with adorable plant decor, amazing drinks, friendly staff, and good seating both inside and outside - what is not to like?! The current seasonal drinks are so much fun; my friend got the iced mango matcha, and I got the Kauai when I asked what the sweetest drink option would be. I am not personally a matcha fun but it felt like very good quality and my friend said she loved it - one of the best matchas she's had!! I loved the Kauai with its nice coconut flavor and sweet taste. Drinks came out quickly even though it got a little crowded when we were there (Monday afternoon). The inside seating is really cozy and plenty of space to sit, either for studying or just hanging out. There is also a bathroom conveniently in the building. Highly recommend!!
One of my favorite coffee shops. This time I was able to order the latte flight and it's so pretty! I didn't order it today but their ube cookie and double baked croissants are fire. The baristas made our drinks super yummy, and I appreciated our cashier for being cheerful. Great service If you're looking for a place to study/work, it's pretty nice to come here and work. Just get there early in the morning otherwise there's no good seats by noon. The shop has limited seating inside and a few tables outside with some shade. We left to another cafe shortly after because we were burning up in the sun.

Great coffee pick me up spot! I usually go early on Friday and lately noticed more people coming. I'm happy it's popular because it's a great place. The pastries are yummy as well. The pastries change which is great to try new ones. I enjoy the poppyseed ham or the ube croissant. My favorite coffee is the Honey latte, it's made perfectly. The seating is spacious and they have outdoor seating. Always clean. Parking is in the back and on the front street. A lot of the baristas are college students so nice to chat about school. read more
Crowded. Some inside and outdoor seating available. Staff are hustlin' and busy, not the most upbeat coffee staff I've encountered. I really came here because of the latte flight I saw on IG. It was $17 for the iced versions with oat milk. I probably should have gotten it hot. The amount poured in each small cup was just enough for a good taste and then some, but also not having a caffeine rush. The ube and matcha were the best ones. The seasonal tasted like chai but also very watered down (again I should have gotten the flight hot). The original tasted just like a regular coffee. It looked pretty, but that's all there was to the flight. Was it worth it? Na. Get what you like or try a drink on it's own. No one needs 4 classes for $17 in this economy haha. read more
Love 1 oz coffee! All of their drinks are delicious and they also have brunch and pastry items. Their dirty chai is one of my go tos since it's strong and also tastes great! The Mountain View location specifically does the latte and single origin flights and having recently tried the flight not only isn't a fun a concept the lattes are also delicious! We came in on a busy Saturday morning for the flight so we had to wait for 7ish minutes but totally worth it! Would definitely recommend. read more

7/18/24 12 pm. The interior is super cute. Not a lot of seating thought. I noticed that some people do sit down and work on their computer. We ordered the mini latte flight and a pandan popcorn. Latte flight ($15) for four different flavors (original coffee, seasonal, ube, matcha). I gotta say. They looked beautiful. Thank you barista. However only half of the drink were actually good. The best goes to the ube. It had a rich flavor. Although the matcha was slightly lacking, it would be nice if they put more matcha powder in it, it passed. The original was average coffee. The worst was seasonal. It lasted like cinnamon with other spices in it. We didn't even finish that one. -1 Pandan popcorn ($8). This was quiet an expensive bag of popcorn but it was also one of the best. Despite the bright green look, it was not overly sweet. Plus you can taste the slight pandan flavor. It was defiantly worth the try. Overall. A cute spot to stop by. read more

been 3 times, cozy and good vibes for a study/work sesh or chat with a friend free parking right outside! so perfect was not the biggest fan of the hojicha latte (not very sweet for sweet tooths out there) but really liked the ube latte, and a seasonal biscoff drink we got in a flight read more

We tried the coffee flight (our favorite because we got to try 4 different types!) and loved the lavender coffee. The matcha latte was not sweet at all but not a crowd favorite. The croissant was delicious (we asked them to heat it up!) and overall a nice, quiet cafe to get work done or catch up with friends. read more

More bounce! To the Ounce! Much more bowownce than Tigger on a tail pounce! This cute and janky lil shop had the boba vibes going on my last couple of visits but tolerable while sipping on caffeine. Service is great and they do latte art plus they serve the Joe in mugs if you're staying in. That alone elevated the experience. First up was the Ube latte that was spot on with flavor and presentation. Next up was a Chai latte that was also on point with full flavor. The last drink was a tonic espresso that came out in a glass so you can see the different shades of color. Just a little minor detail they missed, the lime wedge and a well carbonated tonic water but other than that it was all good. And that's my take on this shop, Peace. read more

Such a cute & cozy little coffee shop I stumbled upon while I was looking for an UPS store (which is literally next to this coffee shop). Went inside to try their coffee and decided on getting their seasonal item- Lavender Honey Latte. I usually dislike sweet drinks but this lavender honey latte was just perfect! Not too sweet and has the perfect lavender taste with a hint of honey and a good amount of espresso to keep you awake for the day. I also noticed many people ordering the mini latte flight that comes with 4 small glasses of latte in different flavors. I will definitely be back soon to try their latte flight next time. read more

I came specifically to try the latte flight ($12), which is such a cool concept. I wish other coffee shops offered this. It's a great way for a first timer to try their different lattes. The lattes you get are: 1. Seasonal Latte - it was a Honey Latte (4/8/24) 2. Regular Latte 3. Matcha Latte 4. Ube Latte (no caffeine) I liked them all, but the regular latte was my favorite (lol). The Honey Latte and Ube Latte were a tad too sweet for me. The Ube was unique and creamy, and so pretty (look at that color!). If you like ube, you would like this latte. The matcha latte was good too, probably my 2nd favorite of the 4. Service was great, very friendly staff. The store is super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. It reminds of the coffee shops from my Berkeley college days. There's plenty of free parking around the neighborhood, including a free city lot a block away on Mercy. read more

1oz is an outdoor coffee shop located in the center of a business complex. Theres lots of outdoor seating & free parking. They do close early around 1pm. We ordered the Ube Latte & Matcha Latte. There is no coffee in this but the flavors of the Ube and matcha were prominent. It was sweet & creamy. The only con is that it was a tad pricey. read more
Nice coffee shop in Mt View.. I tried the brewed coffee and it was well done.. also had the Ube Latte. What a great treat this is not super sweet, house made syrup, and they put some dribble flowers on the side. The flowers gave a very herbaceous aroma when drinking the latte. Very good The staff were friendly, quick and gave the "bring your own" cup discount without me asking.. Parking might can be a little hard but if you are willing to walk it's doable. cute small coffee shop with a good vibe.. read more

Heard about this place for a while. Finally gotten a chance to stop by. We got the cookie butter cap and Ube latte, they were both delicious , also we tried the pandan mochi, was also super chewy and delicious. Plenty of seats and it was a nice ambiance to sit in, staff are super nice. There's a wall you can leave your notes on, and we were having fun looking thru the notes. 1 Oz has become my favorite espresso spot in town. I moved here from a city with a very robust coffee scene and have my own at home manual espresso machine and grind my own beans every day. I may be a little obsessed with it at this point. The competition down the street also pulls a good shot, but 1 Oz is just a bit higher tier. A more robust flavor profile, thicker mouth feel, and fun treats on tap. They also have visiting roasters featured in their shop, which I absolutely love. Way to keep me coming back. Their own espresso blend Sip the Life is also delicious and very forgiving for anyone looking to get into the hobby at home. I grabbed one of the bag of beans and the barista told me that I get a "free or discounted drink" with my purchase. I was pleasantly surprised and I got a small cold brew for free. He listed other options such as a latte for $1.50, but I declined because I wanted to save my drink for the next day. I did not think the cold brew was anything noteworthy, but I will definitely come back to try their ube latte. read more
I came here on Sunday afternoon specifically to try new mini latte coffee flight for $12 that includes Single Latte, Single seasonal Latte, Matcha Latte, Ube Latte. This is an amazing choice if you cannot decide what you want and an opportunity to try new flavours. For example, I've tried Ube latte for the first time, and it turned out to be a perfect non-coffee experience with an ice cream taste:) The staff is amazing and friendly, I love being here to enjoy their company. I definitely recommend! Street parking is available, you can also part near the park nearby or find garage parking in the Downtown Mountain View. read more

Had a Ube latte, it was pretty good but the flavor was a bit mild I think. The portion was little for a 7$ drink. The service was pretty quick. There is limited space for seats at the cafe but some spots available outside as well. I might come back to try the actual coffee. read more

Start your day the right way. Great coffee and service. Baristas know their stuff. The cafe is small and fair amount of seating. I often see people studying or sipping a nice brew in or outside. They offer cold brews, espressos and pour overs that you'd typically get at Third wave coffee shops. Their bean all have fruity notes. They ask how you want your pour overs. One will extract more fruitier notes whereas the other one doesn't. I had mine where it's not as fruity with the Ethiopia beans. Coffee taste is great, a little sour but goes away after cooling down. read more

It is premade dry mix of brewed tea, sweetener and spices.
Do they make iced lattes? I went to the santa clara location once and was told they don't make iced espresso drinks.
