So we came after a lunch w friends and were intrigued by the space! It's very pretty spot (though the lids and stuff as such are at an awkward spot from the pick up and trash bins. ) I had ordered a vanilla latter iced, strawberry matcha iced, doggy treat, and salted caramel mini muffin. The drinks were not good - at first I did not know they were out of the strawberry flavoring so I was offered to substitute with orange or vanilla and went with the safe route of vanilla. Wrong choice, the matcha itself was not good for the price. Both drinks were actually on the watery side but the coffee wasn't as bad as the matcha (I honestly drank the coffee with a mint flavored gum and it reminded me of the mint mojito from Philz - so I was able to drink it) The muffin I think was a little sweet but my partner actually really enjoyed it and I liked the size of it because it wasn't a lot but he was still able to enjoy it for what it was. The doggy treat was on the harder side but other than that my dog really enjoyed the treat which is saying something as she can be picky. Today's espresso was roasted by Temple, it had nice crema, was full in body and no sour notes of light roasted coffee. the only sadness I experience: paying by cash for $16.01 charge, I received $3.99 in change because there was no cash in the drawer by 10a, and the pastries (which I assume are fresh daily) are wrapped in plastic upon deliver, which kink of ruins the texture of the product, even though they are kept in a closed display cabinet. overall I still like coming here - one of the few places in downtown that has character and is a pleasure experience. read more

Besides coffee and standard baked good items, they offer an extensive menu consisting of sandwiches, salads, acai bowls, panini's, and Belgium waffles. I tried their vanilla latte this last time and it was carefully crafted and brewed. The drink only took about 5 minutes to make from order to pickup. They have plenty of seating outdoor, a few tables downstairs, and a decently sized upstairs area with tables and some couch seating. Although the upstairs is a bit quieter and more comfortable than downstairs, with the heater on, it can get quite stuffy upstairs. This coffee bar is well-kept and clean. Friendly service. There's lots of free downtown street parking along Main St. or any of the adjacent streets. This is great place to meet up with friends for coffee! read more

The coffee was cold. When I asked for a new cup, I was asked how long ago I ordered it and if I wanted hot water to be added to the coffee. I also had ordered a croissant, which was completely forgotten about. This in of itself wouldn't be a big deal, but every single time I have gone to this cafe, they have made a mistake with my order and the food and coffee has been subpar. We're thrilled Red Berry didn't become another covid casualty downtown. When it seemed like they were about to close for good, Jeff sold to the owner of the artisan coffee/confection shop down First Street. Minus his smiling face, everything is still the same. Today I ordered the Tectonic Ethiopian grind pourover. Even though the barista warned me that it would be a few minutes to make, I didn't think it would be literally five minutes. She poured the water, and waited. And poured, and waited. But it was worth it. The final cup was so smooth and rich. The hand written menu said notes of cherry and caramel, but I was blasted by the tart sweetness. It was memorable. We also got a chai latte, which was good as usual, along with a beautiful hazelnut croissant from the pastry case. Outside, they have well spaced out tables. Such a nice place to hang out. They also have an upstairs, with games (like battleship, etc), but that area's closed right now. Bummer that the kitchen is also shut down due to covid. The breakfast menu, when available, is pretty good. The most amazing thing on the menu are the waffles. They have a plain waffle, perfectly crispy and chewy. I don't know where they get the berries they top with, but they're super fresh. And they have a pecan waffle with maple syrup. Both are very simple, but good enough to us to come here just for the waffles. That is, when this #@$! pandemic is over. read more

The outside seating was amble, socially distanced and welcoming. I ordered a cappuccino which was prepared perfectly in taste and appearance. Bravo!
