Also, Jamaal & Sadie took very good care of our group. The dimly lit room set the tone for a great evening. The chicken piccata was "off the chain" delicious as was the strawberry tiramisu. We'll definitely visit again & thanks for everything. JoAnn G.

It's a lovely restaurant and the service is cordial and attentive. I love, love, love Italian food,…read moreso I may be a bit picky. We ordered the cannelloni and the gorganzola gnocchi. Obviously we like flavor and rich food just from our dinner choices! While everything was palatable, nothing was great. The cannelloni seemed a bit chewy to me, but, that didn't bother me, the ricotta...was ricotta and the sauce tasted like crushed tomatoes! All good, but the cheeses were almost tasteless. I just want some spices, more garlic, more pop of basil, more flavor. We ate every bite. The gorganzola pasta...surely that's got a punch! Nope. Again, palatable, but super mild and forgettable. I would eat here again if invited. I like the people and the atmosphere. I just found our choices on this visit to be quite disappointing. As a caveat, I will say, we were visiting from New Orleans. We may love rich food a little too much. We did enjoy our well mixed cocktails.

Epic fail. I knew as soon as I saw it. Overall...will order again.

Great location, you can have a conversation at your table. Very open and well spaced tables…read more Comfortable seating. The original restaurant, to me, was better and food more flavorful and tasty. Tres Leche Vanilla and Chocolate were really good. The menu was impressive and a little pricy. The ribeye steak was cooked as requested but not a good steak taste. In addition, scallops and shrimp were brought after the steak had been served. We requested no crab meat on the fish due to dietary requirements. The server asked if it was still okay to add the mushroom gravy sauce. We said yes. The fish was topped with shrimp that wasn't asked if that was an acceptable substitution. There was no mushroom sauces. The vegetables and potatoes were less than desirable.

More refined then the last location. Still a casual vibe but it's easy to also dress up and not feel out of place. Everyone else ordered the seafood pasta but I got the seafood combo. I picked snapper and scallops. Came with vegetables, wedge potatoes and a side salad. My side salad was made great due to the comeback dressing. That was some of the best comeback dressing I've had in a while. The snapper really gave tilapia vibes. It was slightly over-seasoned to me. My scallops were cooked just right but didn't have much flavor to them. But I liked them more than the snapper. The veggies were ok. Nothing to write home about. The potato wedges were pretty good. I asked for some feta dressing and that made the difference. Overall, I enjoyed dinning there. Service is good and food is decent.

The prices were extremely reasonable, especially since every entrée comes with unlimited collard greens, hushpuppies, and coleslaw for the table. The hushpuppies were perfectly browned and crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. The collard greens were seasoned just right and were so good that we kept requesting more for the table. My son and I shared the fried seafood platter with catfish, shrimp, and oysters. It also came with a side, and I chose the baked potato. Everything was cooked perfectly. The catfish was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, the shrimp were large and flavorful, and the oysters were delicious. There was plenty of food for both of us, making it a great value. The combination of friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices makes this a place we'll definitely return to next time we're in Crystal Springs.

I wish I had something better to say, but the food was mediocre at best. Five of us ordered the fillet at $55/ea. As soon as I cut into mine, my husband leaned down to smell it because it had an off-putting smell. There was NO flavor and the reduction "sauce" that normally comes on top tasted like canola oil. We ordered potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach as sides and they, too, were sub par. After tip our bill was over $500. Rating 2 stars because our waiter did a great job but we will not come back.
