Great location, you can have a conversation at your table. Very open and well spaced tables. Comfortable seating. The original restaurant, to me, was better and food more flavorful and tasty. Tres Leche Vanilla and Chocolate were really good. The menu was impressive and a little pricy. The ribeye steak was cooked as requested but not a good steak taste. In addition, scallops and shrimp were brought after the steak had been served. We requested no crab meat on the fish due to dietary requirements. The server asked if it was still okay to add the mushroom gravy sauce. We said yes. The fish was topped with shrimp that wasn't asked if that was an acceptable substitution. There was no mushroom sauces. The vegetables and potatoes were less than desirable. read more

Met up with some friends at Eslava's for dinner Tuesday night. My first time at the new location and my first time ever eating dinner there. I like the dining area. More refined then the last location. Still a casual vibe but it's easy to also dress up and not feel out of place. Everyone else ordered the seafood pasta but I got the seafood combo. I picked snapper and scallops. Came with vegetables, wedge potatoes and a side salad. My side salad was made great due to the comeback dressing. That was some of the best comeback dressing I've had in a while. The snapper really gave tilapia vibes. It was slightly over-seasoned to me. My scallops were cooked just right but didn't have much flavor to them. But I liked them more than the snapper. The veggies were ok. Nothing to write home about. The potato wedges were pretty good. I asked for some feta dressing and that made the difference. Overall, I enjoyed dinning there. Service is good and food is decent. read more

I was in town for business meeting and looking for a place to eat as a single diner. Eslava's caught my attention as I passed to go to another restaurant. I had to leave the first place due to a long wait. I decide to backtrack for Eslava's and so glad I did!! I had the 14oz ribeye and it was cooked perfectly!! tried this new Ridgeland restaurant and will return. they have not been approved for liquor license so it's currently byob or wine or beer. the food was average. not bad but not delicious. mist dishes looked very similar regardless of what came out of the kitchen. the interior reminds me of cafeteria dining with hard floors, bare walls and tables and chairs. service was definitely the star with prompt service, knowledge of the menu and attention to service . read more

Loved it!! Our group of four just went to the new Eslava's Seafood Grill in the old beagle bagel location in Ridgeland. We had the $50 for two dinner special (available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). The food was outstanding! We all gave it a five out of five score. The service was prompt and friendly. The ambience was tasteful clean and professional. Two of us had shrimp scampi, which was a generous portion with abundant perfectly seasoned cream sauce, and grilled shrimp. My wife had grilled chicken breast with capers, mixed vegetables, and fried potato wedges. The chicken breast was flavorful and juicy. Our other party had the pan fried pork tenderloin with Crawfish topping. He loved it! This place gas the rare distinction of flawless execution on all fronts. No reservations needed except for parties of six or more, but there was plenty of room available on our Wednesday night visit. This is the place to go! We'll be back! read more

The jackson metro area has gained a jewel of a family run restaurant! You get the sense of family and friends from the moment you enter. Husband, wife, grandmother, and children all work together to make you feel welcomed. Then there's the food! The crabmeat marinated with olives and vinaigrette is to die for. All the seafood dishes feature a generous serving of freshly prepared food. The steaks are grilled to perfection, and the sides are perfect. The tres- leches desert is the best around. Three of us went to Eslavia's last evening, March 6, 2026., and we were quite pleased to find a really good restaurant nearby. There has been a lot of talk about it since moving to their new location recently, and we were all quite impressed, especially with the quality of the food. Two of our group had snapper smothered in a sauce, of which one person kept commenting on how much crabmeat there was in it. (A lot.) I had Lemon Shrimp pasta (they also have a separate shrimp scampi) and it was excellent. Being that you can brown bag, (which certainly cuts down on the expense!) we all decided it was somewhere we'll return to. Our server was a young man who told us he was new to serving and to please bear with him, but he was very attentive and very good. We made a reservation, but because we were quite early, we really didn't need one. The restaurant began to fill up and, within an hour, was pretty full, but not totally, by the time we left. No, it's not a white linen tablecloth restaurant, but that actually gives it a more welcoming feel. With all this said , I personally recommend giving it a try. They'll probably apply for, And get, a liquor license soon, so take your own bottle in before that happens! read more

Have been twice since their move to the location. The food is excellent as always. Both visits we have had the same server. In all honesty, she needs some improvement. Food coming out before the salad and no drink refills, no bread offered were experienced st both visits. I do miss the excellent servers from his previous location. Nice large space in Ridgeland. Owner Aihmed personally was working the floor. She's quick and very friendly. Food came out quickly but there were very few in the restaurant. My Greek salad was smaller than any I've had anywhere else and with only some cherry tomatoes and peppers and some feta....no cukes or red onion that I saw anyway. However it was tasty.
