Usually I am one to rave about Ziggi's, it is my go to when I need to treat myself. However this morning I received my coffee and the cup was only filled a little more than halfway. Ridiculous for an almost $8 latte!

The staff was super friendly and helpful despite being overwhelmed by a very large party while I was there. They take their time making the drink because they clearly want you to enjoy them. The Mac and cheese was some of the best I've had at a restaurant. I really enjoyed the lollipop chicken. Not overcooked and sauced nicely. It seems like it could be a quiet spot for a meal and/or cocktail whenever there is not a convention in town.

Location (4 stars) This restaurant is downtown near the convention center. parking is pricy if you valet park at the hotel. Last year it was around $40. Parking in the lot across the street for $25 dollars Easter Sunday. If you use a walker, I would not recommend the parking lot across the street. Food (3 Stars) The Thanksgiving buffet is the best one. I would rate that buffet a (4). The Christmas and Easter buffet are pretty low key. There is a carving station (ham and prime rib). There is an omelet station. Dessert bar is decorative. Cheesecake was delicious. The warming station with potatoes, sausage etc. leaves much to be desired. The charcuterie station is sparse. They offer unlimited mimosas for an additional $25. Service (5 stars) Staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness (2 stars) My only complaint, I saw a tabletop being cleaned off with a rag used to clean the chairs and then under the table on the floor and on to the next tabletop. I'm just a little picky about that. Especially since folks these days go commando and wear short attire, and you know their parts are on the chair and now spread to tabletops. Wiping up the crumbs off the floor with same rag simply through me over the edge. Atmosphere (4 stars) Spacious uncrowded environment. Nice decor. Bright with large windows.

Their menu is full of upscale & innovative cocktails. Our server Morgan knew anything and everything you could want to know about each drink plus others that were not on the menu. She was awesome & made for a great experience. The drinks were delicious but take a bit longer to prepare than a typical bar. They do offer a full menu but we just came for drinks. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to hangout & try something new. They have plenty of room for moderate sized groups as well.

Death & Co is a bar that has been on my list to go to for a very long time. We made our reservation ahead of time, which I would highly recommend you do. I almost didn't do it, but I'm glad I did because it was limited seating still. The inside atmosphere is absolutely amazing elegant, upscale. This is the place to be. We originally sat at a lower table with a large couch and two side chairs. We had a group of six and we fit pretty comfortably. The only error we had was when the waitress was bending down to give us our first round, someone from the table behind bumped her and the tray of drinks went over. Honestly not really her fault and she was very apologetic. It did splash one of my party members, which is why they offered to comp us the drinks and we had to unfortunately move the table because of broken glass. They were fortunately able to get us into another table pretty quickly. It was close to the bar, which wasn't inherently bad. They gave us a fresh round of drinks. The food that came out was all amazing. We ended the meal with their chocolate chip cookies, which were divine. I'm pretty sure they were brown butter chocolate chip cookies because it had that excellent specific flavor you get from browning butter and baking. All in all, this place truly delivers an amazing experience. The wait staff was able to make amazing recommendations on cocktails based on what people's preferences are. The food was truly amazing. If you like good food and great drinks, I would definitely check this place out.

My friend and I thought it was great! I had the Standard breakfast the first day and the huevos rancheros the second day. Both were great, but the pork green chile with the huevos rancheros stood out. It would make excellent tamale filling. We sat outside since the weather was pleasant. Service was great. They add 20% gratuity automatically so no need to calculate a tip. Don't skip the hot sauce wall if you need more heat.

This is a breakfast place and yet, for coffee, whole milk is the only dairy option offered. For me, if your business is breakfast, I assume coffee is your #1 served drink, to not have options for lattes is an easy miss. Providing skim milk allows you to make your own 2%! It also seems they had one non dairy option which, again, it's a breakfast cafe. I cannot make sense of it. Service was slow and spotty, which was particularly disappointing given the 20% included service fee. This fee notice is posted everywhere which I appreciated but if this is the case, you must must provide top notch service. Waited quite a while once we were finished for our check which is just unacceptable. That said I did love my breakfast bowl full of veggies - one of their summer specials. And I liked the hot sauce wall! Plus I love dogs and really dug the weenie decor. Despite the good food product, this is a restaurant where their policies and lack of options made me feel unwelcome. With all the great food spots in the area, there's nothing that would draw me back to this place as I'd like to have a latte if I'm going out for breakfast, and this place couldn't provide any milk option for me.
