Inconsistent recently and considerably overpriced. I'm not sure what the deal is here. The product had been great in the past, but has gone downhill as of late. The Dough seems way off from previous experience. Pizza has been undercooked the past two times we ordered. (This was remediated by Julia) The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately that doesn't make the pizza any better. Zeeks is the best place to eat pizza in west Seattle. When I walked Into Zeeks I didn't want to go. But I was happy our waiter was really really nice and got our drinks fast. When our pizza came I was ready to eat the pizza I thought it would taste ok but when I took a bite it tasted like one of the best pizza slices I've ever had! Ah, well they tried. There were warning signs. Campy FRAMED posters of their types of pizza bigger than pasted on posters for upcoming bands should have been my first clue. If for some reason your tastebuds can only process one flavor, you will love this place. It seems to pride itself on franchised "edginess" like , I'm coming to realize, a lot of west Seattle spots do. It's kind of repulsive, honestly. But scooting aside the fetid pile of rank consumerism with the toe of my shoe, a little more on the design before I attempt to take a shining silver stake and gouge it through what little heart their pizzas may have. The place was about 1/3 full yet there was more noise than at safeco field, could it be they actually designed it so it SOUNDS like it's full all the time? It is the same kind of fake-out they have in casinos where they play a soundtrack of somebody wining in the distance? Nobody was wining here either. Especially not the owner- like I said it wasn't half full and there were almost more employees than customers! We were right next to the kitchen which has fiberglass observation partition and we observed about four guys literally just standing there. It took about 35 minutes for our pizza to come out and we were about 15 feet from the entrance to the kitchen. *picks up pieces of shattered mind* Listen- I hate to sit with people at dinner who talk about all the ways the owner of the restaurant could not be screwing up. However if I could hear anyone across the tiny table form me at all that night- I would gladly engage in such a discussion. Nobody who worked there looked happy, either. It was like faux alternative pizza place of the DAMNED. Cindy the waitress has a soul eating prawn incubus in her navel ring. Jeff the confused kitchen prep guy has an unholy earwig in his actual mayan plug that tells him to make pizza sauce that has fresh herbs swirled all around, but never let the customers actually TASTE it. And Cosmo the dough guy has a spurred brain lemur that makes the dough taste like baking soda. Fifi, the other waitress has an enchanted blister on her right heel that makes her walk back and forth from the the front to back of the place doing absolutely nothing but looking totally resolute and determined. Go down the street, try Spiros and you want to be edgy- tip somebody who doesn't sport a dorky uniform. read more

Pizza was good, but the customer service has ensured we won't be returning. I called to order a pizza based on a friend's rec. All they told me was to get the Thai pizza and that the veggies were great. I ordered the wrong Thai pizza, and called back immediately. I literally, word for word, asked "Is it too late to change the order?". I understand how pizza places work--my mom owned one and it was my very first job. I get that pizzas are made really quickly and even calling a minute later means it might already be underway. That's why I ASKED IF IT WAS TOO LATE. This part is key. He said it was ok and asked what I wanted to change, so I asked for the veggie Thai instead of the chicken Thai pizza I ordered and he said ok and made the changes. My boyfriend went to go pick up the order, at which time the guy at the front, Samnang, starts telling him about how he had to throw out the first pizza and make a whole new one since we changed our order. If it's such a hassle and you had to waste so much food, then maybe say "yes the pizza is already made so we would have to make a new one if you want it changed" when I literally asked you exactly that. The icing on this cake was when the guy asked his coworker if there was a "wasted product fee" he could charge us for. Are you for real? The guy is like 30 years old, meaning, he's a fully grown adult, and still has no comprehension of what customer service means. I've worked in customer service for many years in my youth and I understand that sometimes we had to re-do things to make a customer happy. Mind you, this is a $30 pizza. It's not like we're asking for you to go above and beyond for a $5 order. Not only that, but why would you throw out a pizza when the order we changed it to had all the same toppings except for chicken, same sauce, and everything? Do you think we would care if there was chicken on it when we ordered that first--obviously we're not vegetarians if we ordered that? Hell, charge us for the chicken topping! Or at least inform me that the pizza has been made already--I am NOT so entitled that I will ask you to throw it out and make another. It would have been 100% ok for us to stick with the original order if you could inform me that the pizza was already made. But don't harass us when we come to pick up our order talking about how we made you throw a pizza out and make a new one, and how we deserve to be charged some extra fee, AFTER I ASKED YOU IF IT WAS TOO LATE TO CHANGE THE ORDER. Just say it's too late--do not give me attitude when I come to pick it up. This seems like common sense but this guy working at Zeeks has soured our first experience with this company--the hiring process is clearly not very competitive if this dude still works there. We were also told that the supervisor would call us back last night and they never did, so I think the customer service is also a low priority for them, or perhaps they're bombarded with complaints every night this guy works the front. I will say that I spoke with someone named Carlos and maybe another named Colin on the phone and they both were very professional and understanding. I wish they were there when my boyfriend went to pick up the order. We liked the pizza so we'll still order it but only if we are anywhere but West Seattle. It's a shame because we live right down the street and this isn't an option we'll be considering anymore. read more

My boyfriend and I always come here to Zeeks of West Seattle when he is in town visiting me. This is the only pizza place we go to! I love the freshness of how they make their pizzas. I've never had a bad experience with getting pizza from them. Always cooked throughly/fully and brought to us neatly. The staff here is also friendly and helpful. Great environment! My only thing is, is that the benches for seating and how far the table is away from you is a little odd..but other than that no other complaints!! I love Zeeks! read more

Zeek's offers a solid line up of gourmet pizzas and beer. It's not cheap greasy pizza. The menu is well put together and I've never been disappointed with their flavor or quality. They hit the marks. I like that the atmosphere here is low key it's a good place to meet up with friends or have a family dinner. Prices are moderate certainly not cheap but not as expensive as those crazy high end wood fires pizzas. Overall this place offers an enjoyable experience. I saw that this place has a composite 3/5 right now. Don't let people throwing shade on this place sway you, it's a solid four star and change. read more

I had the really bad idea of ordering pizza last night from Zeek's. Well turns out they have only been open for two days. It was storming out and the place was a mob scene. I wanted delivery and it took an hour and a half, so I opted to pick up. The atmosphere is o.k. They did a pretty major re-model on the previous location with big new windows, but inside was mediocore. Very uninspired, not someplace I would hang out in. We got the pizza home. We ordered the Tree Hugger pizza and it had tons of veggies on it-broccoli, artichokes, olives, mushrooms. This was my first Zeek's pizza and I will still attest to the fact that Seattle has no good pizza, but it wasn't bad. I thought the crust was o.k., but like most places there was a sauce problem. The sauce was more like tomato paste and was barely noticeable, it is mostly cheese and veggies. All in all, not a bad Seattle pizza. read more

First time at Zeeks. Not impressed. Ordered a half cheese pizza (for the kiddo) and half Tree Hugger for me. Got some breadsticks too. Breadsticks came out and they look like thin rolled out pizza dough, greasy, yet somehow dry. Pizza came after about a 10 minute wait, which isn't bad at all. There was a huge layer of grease all over the cheese side of the pizza. I had to lay a napkin on it to soak it all up. After the grease was gone, I see that there is hardly any cheese on the pizza (note that there is NONE on the napkin used to soak up the grease). The Tree Hugger side looked much better. Piled high with veggies. Broccoli was charred a bit, and it looked quite dry. Took a bite and all I tasted was tomato and burnt crust. Looked on the bottom of the pizza, it's black. All I could stomach was one piece of the medium pizza. Price spent on the medium pizza, breadsticks, kids chocolate milk and a lemonade: $29 and some change. Way overpriced in my opinion. I could have gotten a much better tasting pizza at Domino's for much less. But I didn't want crapy Domino's. I wanted a good pizza. So I am greatly disappointed. I had read the press about this place and it is within walking distance of my house so we decided to stray from my old standby WS pizza institution to give it a try. We were seated quickly, ordered quickly and then proceeded to wait for almost 40min after we placed our order. A few tips for the wait staff, don't tell you clients the "pie will be right out" if it is more than 20 minutes away. Don't tell them it is up next when it isn't, and finally, don't tell them it will be out in 3 minutes when you have no idea where it went. I never will get to taste their pizza, because I never will go back, ever. They were only moderately busy so there is no excuse for this kind of wait. We finally walked out and had pannini's across the street at Thriftway that were quite satisfying and a whole lot healthier anyway. read more

This has got to be the first time I've been to a pizza place where the breadsticks were better than the pizza. Although I ordered a small, 4 bits of sausage, 6 pieces of pepperoni and a drizzle of peppers and onions does NOT merit the price tag of a 7" pizza being $12.50 with the crust being just average and the sauce just the same. The pesto parmesan, mozzarella, bacon and garlic breadsticks were fantastic especially with the ranch dressing on the side. It's gonna cost ya $22.50 to step up to a medium and at this rate maybe the small was a good idea as that's as much as I can tolerate from a halfway decent pie. Will I be back here again....?? Probably not unless it's with a group and I'll snag the breadsticks. All in all I'm a bit disappointed with this place with all the hype it got from the locals. At their price point there are much better selections out there with much more pomp and circumstance to their product than Zeeks as this is just average so don't let the price tag fool you. Just to keep ya posted Breadsticks $12.30, 7" pizza $12.90 and a $5 cider with tax $33.25. I'll let the group pay if I come here again, but not by myself...unless I'm craving breadsticks. read more

I've definitely developed high standards when it comes to pizza, so Zeeks was a bit of a letdown. The crust had a greasy feel, almost like it was either dunked in butter or slightly fried. I did like how they loaded the veggie half with various veggies, but the broccoli definitely could've been seasoned better so it didn't taste so raw. The meat half that we chose was mediocre, just a lot of different meats piled onto the pizza. There are definitely better pizza options around! read more

I've heard reviews of this place and even had someone recommend them to me. Being someone who knows good pizza, this isn't really it. The quality of their pizza to me is similar to that of Dominos or other 'chain' pizza places.... just more expensive. It was my first time ordering from them, and the gal on the phone was nice enough to mention that they do have small pizzas (not on the online menu), so that's what I got. But I was stunned when I opened the box to find that I'd just paid nearly $20 for what was basically a personal-sized pizza. I have to say - love Zeeks pizza but when I was told for the second time in three weeks that the salted carmel ice cream had run out I am disappointed that the web site continues to hawk it. My wife is pregnant - the chocolate mexican ice cream is pretty bad (I did submit and agreed to it during the last "outage") and all she wants is the salted caramel - I dutifully ordered a pizza as I saw the SC was available and then I get a nasty call telling me that they are "out" but have mexican chocolate.(once again) All you have to do is to take the salted off the ice cream menu - in fact take anything down you don't/won't/can't sell - its bad for your customers and candidly I wont buy from you guys again as I have so many other good options here on Alki. Take a page out of the Amazon playbook and treat your customers first - when that happens i'll be back. Maybe one consumer is too little for big Zeeks - I can tell you that it doesn't matter if you listen to this or not - they will screw you as they screwed me by offering a product that was not available - that should at the very least bring you to wonder why you are putting your money up for anything they provide - would you feel like you got a fair deal if the food truck you ordered from delivered half the product and suddenly was "out " of the rest? its as simple as a little governance and instructing your team to restrict to the public what is not available - apparently this got missed and continues to get missed - fool me once it's my fault - twice it's all on you. read more

We LOVE the Buffalo Soldier!!! It's our favorite specialty pizza in Seattle. I'm not even a blue cheese fan but somehow it just works. They season the chicken just right! If you don't like things to spicy, just put the jalapeños on the side. We also like to get a Couple of sides of ranch with it for dipping. I better go, I'm getting hungry writing this! My household has ordered from here a couple times, never delivery though. Just pick up and dine in. Pizza has always been delicious. Cooked thoroughly, really good amount of toppings, lots of cheese. However, service leaves something to be desired, staff has been a little cold both in person and over the phone. But we keep going back for the pizza, not the people lol. read more

My boyfriend and I were craving pizza and decided to go to Zeeks to get some food togo. We walked in at around 8:30 went to the counter and grabbed a menu to look over. We were going to order beers while we waited for our food so we sat in plain view at the bar. No one came to talk to us for 20 minutes. We tried to eyeball people down but to no avail. They served people who came in after us making to go orders and sitting at the bar. Finally we decided to leave and spend 60 dollars (plus tip) somewhere else. Went for take-out because our regular pizza place was closed. We ordered and waitress told it would be 15 minutes. She watched us sit down at the bar. About 20 minutes later, we ask where our pizza is. The waitress had put it in a delivery bag and never told us it was ready. And when the staff realized the mistake, they weren't even apologetic. Pre-ordered using online ordering system which was super easy to use. I planned ahead for my pickup just after noon. When I showed up I was told that the order had just been put in the oven and would be ready in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the hostess came back to tell me my order had been lost. Keep in mind there were only 2 tables in the restaurant. Disappointing as we had a group of 8 waiting on us for lunch and Zeek' s didn't compensate any of the $80 worth of pizza as the hostess didn't have the authority and there is no manger on duty mon/tues. next time I'll skip zeeks and go elsewhere in West Seattle. read more

Okay so I wanted pizza, I wanted it delivered to my house, I wanted to order it online and I wanted it quickly. So Zeeks accomplished all of this. Was the pizza good, sure it was just fine. We got two pizzas, one meat pie and one veggie and they were totally fine. Nothing stood out about them, the sauce was somewhat plain, the toppings seemed fresh, not super fresh, but they tasted good and the dough was fine, not flavorful, not bad tasting but just dough. So yes, this is a fine place to get run of the mill decent pizza. Enough said. read more
