Another salad lunch at Zaxby's. Grilled house for my wife and fried house for me. They do an excellent job here. Plenty of ingredients and placed nice on the plate. Yep fast food- a local owner- great place. Military and senior discount read more

The food and service are average the chicken strips are always hard and you got to beg for any sauce or extra. Its ok if you are desperate. The inside is clean and neat and the seating is comfortable lot's of booth seating. The food is chain food. read more

Zaxby's is always go-to for our family. We had family visiting from out of town and they decided we needed to stop here before we went on to downtown for our plans for the day. Unfortunately, they had forgotten our food, even after I had been standing at the counter and checking in. Once we did get our food, half of our order was wrong. I had two kids in my order so this made things difficult as the rest of my family were already done eating at this point. They did give me a coupon for a comped meal on a future visit- though we haven't been back to use it yet. read more

Great for fun and casual eats portion is just right and fairly priced. They those computerized coke machines where you can blend your own drinks. Place was not busy at all. Dining area has a lot of st augustine's memorabilia that promotes nostalgia. read more

I truly love Zaxbys and have for many years. Sadly this site continues to disappoint me. This time the chicken fingerz were not freshly cooked and it was hard to take a bite. I tried 3 out of the 5 fingerz and ended up throwing them all away. Zaxbys has been consistent and always good at all other locations. I'm just done at this one and will drive on by. I can't recommend this location. read more

I went through the drive-thru - I ordered the new tacos, they definitely don't look like the commercial. I got one small chicken strip loaded with the toppings, the same for the other one. I was totally disappointed. read more

Great for chicken I love zaxbys their always kind courteous ppl that wait on me! They are so nice.

Love Zaxbys, fav fast food chicken spot. Nothing compares to their zaxbys sauce and to be honest you can dip almost anything in there. Personally the chicken fingers are my fav but their chicken wings are actually pretty decent. Love the garlic bread- yum! Their cole slaw is super good too! Taste very similar to kfc. read more

Zaxbys - Fast Food Near Me - St Augustine, Florida

The worst grilled chicken zalad Ive ever had. Ordered through Uber Eats and what they sent was disgusting. Brown, wilted lettuce, sour tomatoes that were so mushy I had to pick them out. No fried onions either. Even the chicken was dry. I will never order from here again. $12 for this was a rip off. I hate leaving a bad review but when it's wrong, it's wrong. read more

Food is great but the service is bad. They had an advertisement of $10.69 for the Shrimp meal deal but it rang up as $10.99. I ask the manager and she said that the price changed. I then said why don't you get rid of the advertisement and she said she can't. I know it was just .30 cents but this is false advertisement read more

Horrible experience! My daughter and I went through the drive through and there was a shift leader or manager at the window. She literally threw the bag in my window and slammed the window so hard that I thought she broke it. Shannon was her name and so I waited at the window till someone opened the it again and I asked for the manager in charge. Tristen came to the window and I explained what happened and he said ok sorry. Will never go back to this location again. Horrible customer service. read more

Like other Zaxby's, this place is amazing. Sure it's a fast-food chain, but it is one of the best ones in the world. The chicken is spectacular and really shines with the Tongue Torch sauce in my opinion. When we visited, drive-thru lines were long but they were efficient and got everything out promptly and perfectly. I went with the spicy chicken fingers plus crinkle fries. YUM! read more

Food is really good, and the order was correct. My only complaint is that it that it usually takes forever to get your order. read more

We're staying in st Augustine for the week and have gotten zaxbys a few times. This is the second time I've gotten a chicken salad that was supposed to be fried but both times we got back to our rooms and the salads had grilled chicken on them. This time they closed right after we left so i can't go back and get them to fix it... but it's a little ridiculous they'd do this twice read more

I used to go to Zaxbys all the time in Jacksonville. But this St Augustine store is more than a huge disappointment. Everything is extremely salty. The grilled chicken sandwich was close to inedible. Neither me nor my husband could take more than a couple bites. What a huge let down. This place in no way delivers on the Zaxbys normal quality. read more

I get food from here pretty often, but recently my order has been wrong multiple times. I am going to have to start checking it in the drive-thru I guess. Most recently my sides were wrong and I had 3 fingers instead of the 6 I ordered. read more

Had never heard of Zaxby's before setting foot in St. Augustine, but I've already been here 3 times in 2 weeks. Okay, it helps a lot that my hotel is just across the street, but it's also really good for fast food chicken. (Good for you being something else entirely...) For you non-southerners out there, the Zaxby's club is worth a try. It's filled with chicken fingers, bacon, lettuce, and tomato on Texas toast. Practically oozing butter and fat, but quite tasty. The fried mushrooms are pretty good too, though they're pretty heavy on the salt / spice and batter side. Last thing that makes this location good: it's clean, and the tables and chairs aren't covered in grease. Only downside is it's pretty annoying to cross the street if you're on the other side of Ponce de Leon Blvd since it's a pretty busy artery, but that's not really a fault of the restaurant. read more

Yummy chicken sammiches especially the three nibblerz and the grilled chicken sammich. The fries good too.

Excellent Boh but the foh was slow paced and forget little things like sauce and that the order was dine in not to go. They forgot to put out condiments the day we went and we watched a worker stick almost her whole face into the tea pitcher. Leaving 4 stars because the boh cooked the food well and got it out fast read more

I'd heard a LOT of great things about Zaxby's, including someone mentioning that they had better chicken than Chick-Fil-A. I'm not a HUGE fan of Chick-Fil-A, but for some reason everyone thinks that is the greatest chicken joint in the history of chicken joints. Nevertheless, I was in the mood for some good fried chicken and swung on through here. First thing I noticed- the building is brand new. I remember when Burger King used to be here in this location, but they tore that building down and put up this one. The inside of the building is very cool looking, with pictures and signs of ancient St. Augustine. Very clean, very modern, but with a historic old-time feel to it. What I liked about the menu was that there were quite a few different choices- not simply buckets of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. Of course they did have that, but there were also plenty of sandwiches, chicken strips, and more available. I went with a spicy chicken strip sandwich combo meal and a chocolate shake. The chicken strip sandwich was very, very good. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a nice little kick. Topped with cool, fresh veggies and a tasty bun- it made for a great sandwich. The french fries were also very good, they had a nice little spice to them that put them clearly above many other fast food fries I've ever had. The chocolate shake was DELICIOUS- LOVE IT! The service here was also very good, the lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful, and I also noticed a few different workers coming out into the lobby to clean at different times, keeping everything orderly. The food was served fairly quickly, although it does look like they make the food when you order it, so it may take a bit longer than other places, but it wasn't bad. I noticed the drive-thru line wasn't very long either. Overall- very impressed with Zaxby's. Definitely better than KFC, and I suppose depending on the sandwich or chicken you order better than Chick-Fil-A. Nice, clean restaurant, good service, and yummy food at a decent price and at a quick pace. Not a bad way to grab lunch. read more

Well operated location. Very pleasant service. When I go through the drive through, the person behind the mic introduces not only herself but the other person putting the order together. Hey if you haven't tried the honey mustard sauces ...give it a try. Much better than the zack sauce. read more

Very busy but fast and fresh food. Love the chicken fingers and of course the birthday cake milkshake.

I mainly come here because my guy friend likes chicken tenders a lot and its doesn't matter where he gets them from. I mainly like the fried Cobb salad with ranch and mediterranean dressing and an extra boiled egg. Mostly come thru the drive up window but sat in a few times. The dining area is always clean and the staff is nicer inside than in the drive thru. They always get my order right which is nice. read more

I have been in here in Orlando, but we wanted something decent but quick so Zaxby's fit the bill. The location was clean and the atmoshpere is a bit upscale from most fast food places. The food was hot and fresh. Overall, a nice place to get good food fast. read more

Food is good but very over priced. Just order a milk shake and you will be at 5 bucks already . The customer service is very good at this location . They usually have a special meal that includes drink and is a good price . Not a bad place if you want something quick . Try the white cheddar bites! read more

Zaxby's all around is consistently good food, and an eat-in dining experience that to me is better than the typical fast-food experience. I have yet to visit a Zaxby's where the food wasn't consistently good. You also have to love the fact that they've made the Birthday Cake milkshake a permanent menu item! I could hurt myself with too many of those. The Zaxby's in St. Augustine is one we visit regularly when on vacation there; on my last visit, the staff was very friendly, and more than one of them went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. I was pleasantly surprised at this behavior, as they were dealing with a lunch rush crowd at that time, so their making time for us to ensure a complete and satisfying visit was unexpected and quite nice. Good job, St. Augustine! read more

This has got to be the worse experience going threw a drive threw That I have ever visited and the worse was yet to come! It all starts with a day on the beach Lovely Hot Day got a call from a buddy who said " Lets go out in the boat at 530"?" Now first I want to say that "his boat: is what most people would call a yacht ! More than 67 feet of luxury! A few friends maybe a overnight-er I am in. So here is where all Hell starts ... I go threw the Zaxbys drive threw ( mind you I do not frequent drive thru chicken places but, I was in a hurry. So to the drive thru for a quick bite . We order 2 combo's and pull up to the window . Now the shit starts to happen.... The highly trained person at the drive threw filled my drink so full that when she handed it to me it spilled all over me ( wearing a very expensive white shirt) and into the Envoy that we had had cleaned the night before I drove back around with coke all over every where and asked for a manger she came to the window and quickly handed me a card for 2 combos . At this point I thought is she been around frying grease to long? Knowing that she is not on the top of her game . I left to try and get changed to get to the Yacht before they left . I Went home changed shirts pants tried to get some out of the coke out of the truck it was sticky as(s) for Chad hell. By that time it was to late he was fixing to leave . So I called him and canceled . Then I tried cleaning the shirt with everything I new no go..... it was a linen white shirt that did not have sizing or scotch guard on it. Then I took the shirt to a dry cleaner to try and get the stain out and followed by a car wash to get the sticky coke out of the car. So all in all It cost me 2 cleaning bills a shirt brand new that they could not get the stain out a detail at the car wash. So I started calling first I called the store no help then the owner who either had a mouth full of chicken or Tobacco or marbles not sure which. Then their corporate. I finally got a email from one of the owners (wife) nearly stalking me sending email after email even after I gave her all the info. After a month of calling 20 people at Zaxby Corp she sends me a check. Then she sends me a email saying" Your welcome" What!!!! lady your out of your mind so... you think I am supposed to "Thank You " WTF lady you have been frying to much chicken you have lost your mind . Maybe you should got back to your " night job" Give me a break... DO NOT GO HERE read more
