Good sports bar with decent wings and food. One thing I didn't care for was the automatic 18% gratuity added to every bill, regardless of party size. To their credit, they're upfront about it when you're seated, but it still feels a bit unusual. In my view, gratuity should reflect the quality of service provided. Overall, the experience is comparable to places like Gators Dockside or Dicks Wings--solid enough, but nothing particularly memorable. We really had a good time at Hurricanes. The place was a fun bar/restaurant with a wide variety of food choices. The food was wonderful. The service was on point. Thanks Lucy for the attention. I would have given this five stats but we tried to sit outside and it was too noisy. Unfortunately, it is located on a main road and parking lot. Was vacationing close by for Spring Break and staying close by at the Colony Reef. Less than a mile walk if you're ever in a similar situation. Our server, forgive me for misspelling, Aubrielle met us with equal enthusiasm and took our drink and food order. The 20-wings were on point, we got the Buffalo Hot and Boss Wings. My son said they were the best he has ever had! It came with two sides (we got the fries and Mexican corn). Fries were fresh, not sitting underneath a heat lamp, and the Mexican corn was excellent. This very casual place is right on A1A South, and the outside seating is almost on the road and parking lot. They had a trio playing this evening, and they were quite good. The greeter is a popular person, and recognized him from the Oasis. We had a $10.00 coupon for a bill over $35.00, which is easy to do these days. The appetizer of 10 wings was on the pricey side. We've eaten there before and the food was good, but this time we got takeout and it was DISGUSTING!!! When my wife got there they said that it wasn't ready. My wife noticed a bag on the counter, after a few minutes another worker asked for her name and lo and behold it was there on the counter all the time. My wife ordered a burger with NO mayo and it was loaded with mayo. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak and it was decent . My wife asked for condiments (ketchup and hot sauce) and they said that they were in the bag. There were NO condiments in the bag . Also receipt was not in the bag either.
