One Twenty Three Burger House is located just on the outskirts of the historic downtown area. My…read moredining companion and I have twice tried this restaurant in the last 12 months. The food has been excellent, but the service can be a little slow with respect to a server, greeting you at the table, bringing your beverages and checking back to bring the receipt. On both of us that we had to ask for a receipt I would've thought the empty plates would've been enough of a signal. We usually pay in cash, so needing change is not necessary because we combine it with the tip. But if we need a change, I'm not sure we would see the server in swift fashion. The burgers are absolutely delicious. They definitely cook them to order, and the resulting product is juicy and satisfying. The french fries are crispy and plentiful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this, but I would say leave yourself plenty of time because it may take a while.

I'm 45 minutes away or I'd be there every week. I got the Mahi UFO and it was divine. The mahi was plentiful and perfectly cooked, the wrap almost tasted like cheese was grilled on the outside of it and it actually has a consistent crunch alllll over. The portion was plentiful and they included some lime on the side that set it off! I'll be making trips to this side of town for this spot alone. Spots around don't even compare - Memorable is an understatement. Seating is small and looked like mostly if not all outdoor - I ordered online and my wrap was hot and fresh when I picked it up. 1000/10

The food was worth the wait but the service was the worst Ive had. We came during lunch and there a 12 minute wait for for chicken. The cashier was at the drive thru on her telephone while we waited and waited for her to take our order. There were several workers present but no food was moving out. I was flabbergasted with the service not the food. The food was excellent! This is the only Bojangles in the area and it should just close down. This is the era we live in. There is fierce competition in the food service/ fast food industry. Bojangles has a name but for me the name has been smeared with very bad service today!

The staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and somehow always manages to greet you with a smile, even during the busiest lunch rush. The prices are also refreshingly affordable these days, which makes it even easier to keep coming back. The only real drawback is the parking situation. Being right off US 1, it can get a little hectic, but if you're patient, it's easy enough to find a spot on one of the nearby side streets. My go-to order is the 2 Dogs, Fries, and a Drink combo. I usually go with a Datil Dog (that spicy datil mustard is a must!) or Spicy Dog paired with a Chicago Dog, and it's never let me down. And whatever you do, don't skip the hand-cut fries. They're perfectly crisp, absolutely delicious, and you'll wish you'd ordered an extra serving because sharing won't be an option. Hazel's is one of St. Augustine's best-kept culinary gems, especially considering how few truly great hot dog stands there are in Northeast Florida. It's no surprise that Southern Living recognized Hazel's as serving one of the South's Best Hot Dogs. Grab a seat at one of the picnic tables and soak up the classic roadside hot dog stand vibe.
