As a fellow Californian living here now all I have to say is the 5 stars it's for the carne asada fries and carne asada fries only!!! The Cali burrito was just ok. The place in itself gives me tacos shop vibes, the parking sucks though. The guy in the front was nice but just took forever to pay. Other than that I'll give the food 5/5!!

Food is super flavorful, hot and fresh! I have to get a UFO here everytime I visit town. It's kind of like an upgraded crunch wrap supreme, delicious! The guys had our orders done fast and the vibes inside are great.

Stopped here for a taco. I got the chicken taco crunchy and soft taco wrap with the works. Lots of chicken very flavorful. The only sauce they have is hot sauce I wish they had a different sauce but I used it. Outside seating only. Limited parking. Friendly staff. I would definitely come here again.

My UFO was amazing! I read about this spot before coming down and I entirely concur that it is a wonderful place to stop in. The outdoor seating has a welcoming energy. Their hot sauce is amazing. We ended up going back twice!

The only thing better than the food is the customer service. We stopped in for a quick dinner on a chilly, grey evening. I ordered the UFO chicken Baja style with a side of guac and a Modelo, and my husband ordered burrito bowl with chicken, Baja style. Both of our meals were 10/10 delicious and we finished every bite, despite the large portions. As mentioned, it was pretty chilly out, but there were ample heaters throughout the outdoor dining space. The gentleman who took our order was also busy making sure the heaters were warm enough for everyone, and checked in with every table to make sure everyone was enjoying their food (every single table had positive feedback). We were well fed and well cared for, and I look forward to stopping in the next time we are in town.

I got the Mahi Luxury Bowl and it was very good. Huge portion size and very tasty Mahi . My friend got the UFO Burrito and it looked spectacular. I'll try this place again for sure.

Return trip and I went with the UFO, Shrimp and black beans, Baja style. Didn't hurt that it was a lovely evening for that outside dining experience. I found the flavors better than I remembered, the shrimp was really good. Nice stop.

I have been here many times over the years. It is consistently fresh, fast and delicious. We got two UFOs today. One beef with the works and the other veggie with guacamole added Baja style. They were beautifully seasoned, piping hot and as generously sized as ever. We look forward to continuing to visit this local gem.

Food is great. Make sure to come to this place hungry. The servings can be good for two, of course you have to get their generous chips too and the Mexican soda Jarrito. Service is just typical food truck vibes but it's cool. The place is clean with a beach vibes... so highly recommended

We stopped in for a casual meal and were seriously impressed. The chips and queso were excellent--smooth, flavorful, and addictive (5/5). We also had the birria tacos and steak burrito--both were absolutely delicious. Tender meat, well-seasoned, and generous portions. Easily 5/5 across the board. Staff was friendly and approachable, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. Would definitely return next time we're in the area!

This place is such a gem, especially after a long beach day! The iconic UFOs are a must-try, they're so, so good and the perfect finish after a beach day. Laid-back vibes, good food, and a fun treat to wrap up the day. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area

Ok I know about these people for having great tacos , I just don't know they were here in Saint Augustine.we got a green chile pork , and a chicken bowl both premium , Baja style . We loved them the pork was spiced just right not to hot. I mean the place needs a little work it's a bit dark out dated but the food was good good sized portions at a reasonable price the toppings were fresh and like always great service we will be back thanks Burrito Works .

I wish I had photos :( I had an order of the spicy chorizo tacos and WOW they were absolutely phenomenal. Packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick. The drinks? so damn good. I drowned myself in their margarita. The atmosphere was vibrant but not overwhelming. Lots of people watching with great energy, a beautiful space, and just an overall vibe. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which always makes a huge difference. I probably waited about 15 minutes to be seated too. Casa Reina lives up to its name. I'll absolutely be back every time I'm in town.

Roof top had several tables open and about 9 occupied. I asked if we could sit anywhere and the terse response was we would have to go down and sign in. I suggested they add a sign. The rest of us waited and I went downstairs and secured one of the open tables with the staff downstairs. We got upstairs and all ordered margaritas from an eager and very friendly waitress. After a few minutes we got our drinks and It started to rain so she suggested we go to the bar. Another awful woman said we would need to go outside. You want us to stand outside in the rain, one of us asked. She stormed off slinging things around to demonstrate her petty frustration truth her customers to whom they had sold drinks. A gentleman behind the bar said we could stay at the bar but the bar was closing. (Inside there were many tables still eating, and some customers stayed out outside eating under their umbrellas. Another woman, much more gracious, approached us and said we would indeed need to go the bar on the first floor as they were still open. Okay we said, but when we got to the bar, another unhappy lady behind the downstairs bar said no, they were closing the bar and suggested we drink outside. It's raining outside, we said, and the staff upstairs said to come here. Well, we are closing, she said and you can't sit here. There were several tables still eating downstairs too. We put our drinks down and walked across the street to the Tradewinds where they couldn't have been more friendly or welcoming. We will be back in Old Town tonight and we won't be stopping back at Casa Reina. Una Reina Que tál vez tiene un baton metida por su culo. Hasta nunca.

She seemed like she was always eager to leave the table, but then go talk to other employees. I needed to get up from my table to look for hot sauce. It's a Mexican restaurant, so I thought it might be offered to me or easy to find. Food-- everything tasted great! Presentation was on point, and the chips and salsa were delicious as well. This is food for the Americanized palate, so there isn't a ton of heat anywhere, including the salsa. Drinks-- I had thr Spicy Watermelon Margarita and it was perfect! Cold Midwest refugees, meet your Mexican savior (with a side of nostalgia)…read more We were visiting from -- or more accurately, escaping -- the frozen Midwest to soak up the magic of St. Augustine's Night of Lights. Magical? Yes. Crowded? Also yes. Parking? A full-contact sport. So we did what any rational, slightly hangry tourists would do: asked ChatGPT for a local favorite with parking that wouldn't make us cry. Enter Cantina Louie -- and honestly, bless this place. First impressions: the atmosphere is a little kitschy, cute, and refreshingly simple. Nothing pretentious, nothing trying too hard. In fact, we were about 90% sure it used to be an old Pizza Hut -- you know, the Pizza Hut -- with the iconic red roof. And honestly? That just unlocked a wave of childhood nostalgia. Somewhere between ordering breadsticks in the '90s and now ordering margaritas as adults, it all came full circle. Now, the food. We ordered La Parrilla, which arrived like it had something to prove. Fajita chicken, pulled pork, carne asada, steak carne asada, and Mexican street corn all piled together in a sizzling, aromatic flex. Every bite made us pause, look at each other, and ask, "Wait... is THIS the best one?" Spoiler: we never decided. As if that wasn't enough, we added the appetizer sampler, because self-control was not on the itinerary. Two enchiladas, mini taquitos, pineapple pork al pastor, avocado, salsa, and guacamole -- basically a greatest-hits album of Mexican comfort food. And the salsa? Unreal. We debated drinking it. With a straw. No shame. Let's talk value. All that food came in under $40. Under. Forty. Dollars. In a tourist town. During peak season. Somewhere, an accountant wept tears of joy. To hydrate (for science), we ordered two 1850 margaritas -- one classic, one strawberry. Both were generously sized, dangerously smooth, and absolutely doing the Lord's work. One sip in and we forgot all about traffic, crowds, and the cold Midwest we left behind. Final verdict: Cantina Louie didn't just save us from parking chaos -- it fed us, watered us, and gave us a warm hug of Pizza Hut nostalgia. If you're in St. Augustine during Night of Lights and don't want to wrestle a parking meter for tacos, this is the move. We came for the lights. We stayed for the salsa.

We got off the trolley at Stop 20, National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, and were going to walk to the restaurant. Unbeknownst to us, there was no crosswalk to cross the busy Ponce de Leon boulevard. Mom isn't as spry as she once was so we didn't risk crossing without a crosswalk, so we had to walk another 1/4 or so to the nearest crosswalk then doubled back to the restaurant. Located in the The Ponce St. Augustine hotel, the restaurant is just to the left of the main doors. We had to wait a bit to get seated as the lone server had to clean a table first. Service was slow. I ordered the Bistec a Caballo (medium), my wife tried their Pork de Leon with fries and my mom opted for the Inca bowl. Did I say service was slow? Our orders weren't synched up. My order and my wife's sandwich were served first and we had to wait a few minutes before my mom's dish was served. My wife liked her sandwich and fries although she thought the shredded pork was a bit dry. My mom liked the flavors of her dish, with tender cuts of meat and smoky soy sauce flavor. The Bistec a Caballo had decent flavors BUT that steak was tough, even ordered medium. I felt like I was cutting through shoe leather cutting it with the serrated knife. Slow service and a tough steak bumped our rating down. We just couldn't overlook the quality and/or preparation of my steak, even with good flavors. Lunch for 3 came out to just over $67 with tip.
