Carne asada, mr. Potatoe, veggi taco

Came in after a long night at the hospital. We were seated immediately. Started with drinks I got a tamarindo $4.99. Horchata $4.99, kids lemonade. Tamarindo was really sweet, too sweet for me I asked our kind waitress Ana if I could just have water as it was too sweet. She kindly removed it from my bill and was very apologetic. My daughter ordered a shredded chicken bowl (not pictured, I forgot, sorry) $12.99 she enjoyed it. My tacos were good not quite the authentic I am used to from CA but it got the job done for starved tummies. Total bill $30. A few cents cheaper for cash payment. A plus for me! Inside was spacious very colorful. All in all Ana was great.

The restaurant seemed recently updated very nice on the inside. The staff was very friendly and our service was super fast. All of the food was great and they even had some fun trivia going on when we went on Monday night. The burritos are huge they fed my fiancé for two or three meals and everything is yummy, best margarita I've had in a while!

Celebrating great food, drink and camaraderie!

Shopping plaza gem

They were slammed when we arrived on a Sunday evening, however they were doing it right- they were quick to bring out chips to every table, getting drinks quickly and running around making sure everyone was taken care of! The food was on point and we had a great time: the had top shelf margaritas on special for $8.99 - delicious with both a fresh orange and lime squeezed in it! We got the queso, the kids got rice, chicken tenders and fries; and I got the delicious steak quesadilla (big enough to share) my husband loves the queso Birria taco ! A must get!

This location is in a plaza that is undergoing construction. We went on a weekday and it wasn't busy. We were immediately greeted and seated. The hostess was very nice and took our orders quickly. The menu has all sorts of offerings from tacos to burritos to enchiladas. Since I'm vegetarian and love enchiladas, I went with the enchilada supreme platter that comes with 3 enchiladas with red sauce. It also comes with refried beans and rice. My husband ordered some meat tacos. The food came out super fast like it was already prepared which is fine. My husband liked his tacos but my enchiladas were not good on any level. The red sauce it was drenched in was watery. The rice and beans had no flavor no seasoning, just tasted very bland. The enchiladas were topped with lettuce which was just strange as it just makes the enchiladas more soggy. Overall, avoid everything but the tacos. This place is known for their tacos and just stick with that. Good customer service but the food for me was no bueno.

Look at ALL this delicious shrimp. Seasoned to perfection.

Great staff...very inviting. Tuesday is Taco Night, and Happy Hour. Chips and salsa are brought out immediately. Salsa is very good, with the right amount of kick. The Shrimp Salad is perfect at $13.99.

The patio seating was great, as was the food! The portions were also perfect, not too many leftovers but enough for a late night snack.

The food isn't very good. I always expect Mexican food to be rather consistent and this wasn't.

I recommend ordering chips and queso they do bring that out quickly and you can much while you wait for your main dishes. The UFO is my favorite dish on the menu and I crave it all the time. It's a flour tortilla that covers a hard taco stuffed with a protein (I love that blackened Mahi) and you can get it spicy (Baja style) or mild (the works). Absolutely the best thing here! If you're grabbing to go, check their website. Sometimes it's not open, but normally you can order ahead and pay online. So when you arrive you can pick up at the pick up window. Love this new addition. You cannot go wrong with anything, everything is amazing and honestly top contender for best taco on St Aug!

Yes, two. Burritos. Just in case that needs to sink in. But don't worry, it gets better. The woman ahead of me only waited 45 minutes before discovering her order had simply ceased to exist. Lost ticket, no food, and a friendly invitation to wait even longer. So really, my 40-minute wait felt like I hit the express lane. And the grand finale? The food finally arrives--after nearly an hour of anticipation--and it's...painfully average. Not bad enough to be memorable, not good enough to justify the wait. Just perfectly mediocre. So if your goal is to waste time and lower your expectations simultaneously, this is your spot. Otherwise, maybe keep driving.

One of the coolest touches? A TV disguised as a piece of art that's actually a live stream of downtown St. Augustine. Such a fun, unique detail! Now let's talk food I ordered the shrimp and grits tacos, and WOW--they were packed with flavor. The grits added this unexpected crunch that worked so well with the shrimp. The textures blended perfectly and made every bite interesting. My husband went for the Miyagi beef tacos... and let's just say there were zero leftovers. He cleaned his plate, which says everything. The menu is where things get especially interesting--unique, playful, and definitely not your standard fare. I tried the chicken apple pie sandwich, which was as unexpected as it sounds. The place itself has such a cool vibe, fun atmosphere, great energy, colorful decor, and it really felt like the perfect spot to hang out, eat, and celebrate. Even though it was busy because of Cinco de Mayo, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everyone was upbeat, attentive, and made us feel taken care of the entire time. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Chimi Chimi Bang Bang Taco and the Blackened Shrimp Taco, and both were seriously packed with flavor. The shrimp was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning and heat, and the Bang Bang taco was messy in the best possible way with amazing flavor in every bite. Everything tasted super fresh and came out quickly despite how crowded it was. And honestly, you cannot beat the Taco Tuesday deal. $2.99 tacos every Tuesday is an absolute steal for the quality and portion size you get.
