Everywhere else you get these babies they charge a similar prize and most of it's the dough from the rice paper. They put a lot of filling in so it's definitely worth $2.50. They have a vinegar sauce and a sweet chili sauce to go along with it. I get the vinegar sauce cause that's more traditional. Shoutout to our local community Heroes, Ms Lily and Mr Travis!!! I am so thankful to find this venue near me in St Augustine. I have not been on this side of town and when I noted the word "Kusina" show up on my Google Maps, I immediately went to my happy place! I have been looking for Asian food influences since I moved here. I was surprised that I didn't have this venue on my radar. I pulled up and immediately saw how cute this little food truck park was. So many outdoor dining spaces. Clean, organized, colorful, and radically vibrant! Travis is the guy behind the register and cooking up the amazing entrees and sides. He is a warm soul with a bright smile and friendly demeanor. A gentle giant. He was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu and helping me out choosing the order. There's so many amazing choices on the menu. I had to get some of my favorites. Lumpia, pansit, and halo halo for the win! I was so happy to meet Ms Lily, the halo halo magician. The atmosphere of the food truck courtyard is very laid back with it's music, set inside a neighborhood. Easy to locate. Retro artwork and patio settings gave me a comfortable feeling of sitting with friends, talking of days gone by. And the food... Sarap! Excellent flavor and quality at a reasonable price. We visited St. Agustine and was really craving for some Filipino food at the end of our trip and we found this hidden gem. The owner and staff are super friendly. We ordered pancit, its a stir fry noodles with some vegestables and meat and its different because the meat is grilled with some lumpia or Filipino spring rolls. It taste delicious! We also got some pork bbq with rice, its perfectly cook. The bbq was not too salty and not too sweet and its perfect for white rice. Lastly we got some sisig. Sisig is one of my favorite Filipino dish and this place has their own style of cooking it. Its crispy and flavorful. read more

My friend and I were riding bicycles and stopped at The Village Garden Food Truck Garden. We ordered supper at the Kusina Colorado truck. I had a shrimp po boy and it was fantastic! My friend had a chili dog and she loved it. While waiting we played ping pong on the ping pong table. Then Chef Travis brought our meal to the table nearby. We enjoyed talking to him. My family and I have been here twice and have had a wonderful experience both times. Not only is the food delicious, the owners and staff are super friendly. They are one of several food trucks in The Village Garden Food Truck Park. So you can enjoy your meal alfresco immersed in a fun and festive setting. They even have a little putting station & corn hole set to help you pass the time while you wait for your food. We haven't come at night yet, but I think this would make an awesome place to hang out at night as well. Back to the food, we've had the BBQ pork, puffy tacos, sisig, Philly cheesesteak, cheese pizza, and capped it off with some halo halo. All was fantastic, but if I had to pick my favorite, I'd say the BBQ pork gets the nod. But they did warn us that preparing the BBQ pork takes a little longer than other dishes, but absolutely worth the wait. read more
