As the name implies, the food trucks are on the water, making for a really lovely dining experience with a view. Bacon and Bubbles boasts a menu of "where brunch meets lunch" and it delivers. They specialize in hand-cut fries, egg sandwiches, and craft sodas. Yum. After perusing the menu and specials, I opted for the Power Bowl and a Blueberry Lemonade. The bowl came with a choice of Carolina BBQ pork or Mojo pork (I chose mojo). It included black beans, white onions, vinegar-y slaw, sour cream and fried garlic. The pork was lean and tender, marinated with all the mojo yumminess. The slaw and onions gadded a lovely bite to the dish. And the fried garlic.... all I I can say is "yum." My blueberry lemonade was also yummy. Fit isn't too sweet, and I loved the dehydrated lemon garnish. Service was quick and friendly, and my meal came out to less than $20, which I think was fair for the experience. Next time, I'll go for the fries as well1

My husband and I are HUGE foodies / home cooks, so the bar was very high. We had 2 objectives: 1/ truly good food (not the standard bland wedding plate) and 2/ something a little unusual or with a wow factor. Coming from a Texan family, we landed on BBQ but nothing had that "wow" factor... Then I found Smokey Jones and OH MY GOSH. Smokey Jones is not your average BBQ. They are craft BBQ (fire wood only) and have pop ups with a unique rotating menu. Most important of all, this isn't a business but a passion and a labor of love. Russ and Viv put their heart and soul into their food and you will not find a caterer who cares more. Honestly the food was so good that these two kind of stole our thunder on the big day - people were talking more about the food than about us! Every family member came over to say congrats and ask where we found Smokey Jones. Not only was this the best wedding catering anyone at the party has ever had but people said it was some of the best BBQ they've ever had (including the Texan BBQ aficionados). Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't say thank you for going above and beyond to make not only incredible food but a beautiful set up. I really wanted an elevated look for my boho chic wedding and Russ and Viv went the extra mile to research my wedding theme / colors and decorate the buffet table scape accordingly. Everything on it really complemented each other. Who knew corn on a hot dog could be so good. I will say it does help that I'm a huge fan Mexican Street Corn as well. The Chili Cheese Fries came as a huge serving as well. Plenty for 2 to split. They could have used a little bit more toppings on them in my opinion since I did get a hand full of fries that didn't get any toppings, and I will admit I am a monster in that way. (Bury my fries). The steak was so tender and the sandwich had so much flavor. While I only finished half of my sandwich because it was so much food, I somehow found it in myself to eat all my fries haha. My husband finished his whole sandwich AND fries. We will definitely be following the yummy Food Truck around!!
