The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If these small complaints don't bother you the food is very good.

We also got the strawberry mojito (non alcoholic). The meat is fresh and I was told by the guy working that their ground beef is ground there at the restaurant. We can't wait to try other items on the menu.

My favorite taco spot in Jacksonville!…read more I always order the carne asada tacos--they never disappoint. I've been coming here for years, and it's been so nice to watch this place grow and expand while still staying true to what made it special in the first place. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. Even with the growth, the atmosphere still feels welcoming and homey, and the food tastes just as good as I remember. The taco prices have gone up over the years, but the quality and flavor make them well worth it. If you're craving authentic, flavorful tacos, this is definitely a spot you need to try.

The rice was very dry, but squeezing some hot sauce on top helped make it edible. My daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla, but she didn't like the cheese, so it went mostly uneaten. The service, like the chips and salsa, was average at best. I should probably give El Castillo 3 stars instead of 4, but that's how good the tacos were.

The tacos were…read morepretty middling- the tortillas seemed like they might have been fresh made, but they had mostly disintegrated by the time they arrived at the table, leaving me to spoon up the contents. The mahi taco was probably the best, along with the steak al pastor, but everything was oversauced (which didn't help the tortillas survive). The guacamole, however, was excellent. Service was friendly but not especially quick, though it was a Friday. The ambiance is generic Town Center. Might give it another try, but not in a rush.

We came for a quick impromptu Taco Tuesday date night, as we were trying to eat at another restaurant near that had a long wait time. We were quoted 20 minutes to be seated when we arrived but were pleasantly surprised when we got the text that our table was ready only after 5 minutes of waiting. The waitress was friendly, and helpful with the menu with us as first timers. Chips, salsa and queso all came out super quick! Better than that, our food came out quick as well! And the food was amazing!!!! I had three tacos ( Blackened Mahi, Blackened Shrimp, & Filet Mignon) that blew my mind. I have been thinking about these tacos ever since I had them, trying to plan my next visit. The margaritas are great as well, not watered down like a lot of these other Mexican spots! Shout out to Dani for making me feel at home. This is my 2nd visit. My 1st visit was on their Trivia night and the place was packed. I had their taco special with a Rice Lager. The food was great, the beer was better. Had the nachos fries on this visit, but I think they only serve them the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month. Imagine good food and better craft beer and you have got Tepeyolot Cerveceria. There is plenty to do here amongst the vibrant music and atmosphere. TVs for sporting events, a good sized bar with chairs which includes mixed drinks and sprits to compliment the beer and wine. Plenty of tables, pinball machines, shuffle board, darts. There is even an old school video game table with Pac-Man. Oh, and parking is in the back. The BEER: Firm Mood Session hazy IPA 4.5% ABV... bright vibrant grapefruit deliciousness... wow!!! So good and definitely crushable Rule G American Stout 5.5% ABV... little coffee, a caramel hint and maybe dry mint or pine?, this one finishes with high IBUs Manatee River cold IPA 7% ABV... a tad sweet and boozy, it is an IPA, but I could not pick out any flavors. So it is IPA flavored or if spruce had a flavor. LOL Sho' Nuff Rice Lager 4.5% ABV... perfectly balanced rice lager, delicate and delicious El Sonador NEIPA 6% ABV... this is a super dry New England IPA, it tastes like a west coast IPA Episode IV: Return of the Kolsch German Kolsch 4 6% ABV... 8/29/26 steer clear of this one until they make a new batch, tasted like band-aids La Bruja "the witch" Vienna Lager 4.8% ABV... solid, drinkable Vienna lager I would recommend Tepeyolot Cerveceria for any craft beer lovers in or visiting Jacksonville FL. The food here is great and all but one beer was really awesome. My favorites on the visit were the Sho Nuff Rice Lager which I think was amazing and the Firm Mood Session IPA which was a strong runner up.

I've posted about them a few times in the past, so old friends already know i enjoy this spot and count it as an official TacoTimeWithTrish must try place! Today hubby and I enjoyed their chicken tacos, steak tacos, and barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa ones being our absolute favorite ones! Tepey's started its roots as a small food truck during the Covid-19 pandemic while Luis and team worked on building out the brewery. Tepey's focus is based on Mexican Aztec roots and history, and that shines through not only the food that comes out of the kitchen, but through its diverse flavors of beers, with a primary focus on lagers. Tepey's is now a staple in the San Marco neighborhood and hosts many community events from pop up markets, live music, trivia, and so much more! It's no wonder they will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary this upcoming weekend and I, for one, am greatly looking forward to it. I hope that you'll come out and support this wonderful locally owned business and help them celebrate on this milestone anniversary.

I ordered the Wet California burrito with steak, and it was mostly rice and beans with very little steak. The "wet" was just queso poured over the top and onto the plate. Some bites tasted decent, others were inconsistent. The steak that was there was okay. The margarita was also a letdown -- more sour than expected and likely house tequila, with very little ice. Chips were unsalted (which I didn't mind), and the salsa had a bit of a pinch to it. Unfortunately, I woke up the next morning with a bad stomach ache and didn't feel great while eating the food. I probably should have said something to management at the time. Our waitress was friendly, but couldn't really elaborate when we asked about the menu. My biggest complaint, is that for being a taco centric spot and having about 15 different tacos, zero of these are vegetarian options. Even things that are called the potato taco for instance have chorizo in them, and the shrooms taco has meat in it as well. I just think it's a really big mess on their part and I think that they should reconsider adding a couple of vegetarian options to their menu. I'm sure if you ask, they will modify. But that's not the point. Sincerely, someone who is tired of getting just a quesadilla at a Mexican restaurant that has so many different options .

My friend suggested Taqueria Cinco - Five Points We were just here a couple weeks ago, but my buddies enjoyed it so much, they were ready to come back sooner rather than later. Tonight my husband got the Suadero Taco as well as a Campechano Taco. He says on the suadero the meat was well cooked and and decently flavorful, he felt something was missing from it, but couldn't pinpoint what it could use. The campechano was all around delicious. The sauce that came on the campechano added a nice level of spice to it. And we caught him scraping every last bit from his plate. I got the Enchiladas Verde today because that's just what I was in the mood for and I had never had theirs before. The waitress asked "Chicken or Brisket" so of course, I went with brisket and i am so glad I did, because they were incredibly tasty. Had just the perfect level of spice and bite to it. The enchiladas were served with rice and refried black beans. The beans were very flavorful and delicious, however I just wasn't a fan of the rice. I think, for me, it could have just used a pinch of salt more to it. I am a big fan of their jalapeno margarita, and it's even better with the tajin rim! Highly recommend! Taqueria Cinco continues to be one of my favorite places to go with friends for some great tasting food.
