    Yuzu Signature Ramen

Yuzu is one of the best ramen in Beaverton! I love how unassuming the outside is which makes you feel like you've stumbled across gatekept gem. The chicken karaage is incredibly delicious with a crispy coating and tender inside. Their ramen broths are also very rich and smooth, but not heavy which I greatly enjoy.

You gotta come to Yuzu, in Beaverton, OR, for authentic Japanese classic food! Visiting from Vancouver, BC we have a lot of exceptional Japanese ramen restaurants and if Yuzu opened in Vancouver, they would do amazing! You might walk past Yuzu as there is no large sign on the exterior. Once you enter, the interior is so cozy and inviting. We shared Agedashi Tofu and we all ordered ramen. Hubby likes his spicy (Kokuni Ramen) and rest of us ordered mild Miso Ramen. I did ask for soba noodles (buckwheat) instead of egg noodles as it is good for my dietary restriction. Delicious and satisfying. We came the day before to make a reservation for next day (dinner). I believe it was the owner we talked to and we weren't sure if she remember us as as it didn't write it down. We were pleasant to see our table had a 'reserve' sign when were seated. Wonderful service!

Yuzu is one of beaverton institutions, a hidden gem. In fact, it could be challenging to find their shop as it simply marked "YUZU" on their entrance. It's been a while since I was there, so I was pleasantly surprised nothing really has changed. Knowing there were limited seatings , we called ahead to make a reservation and we were glad we did. Many drop in customers had to wait for 30 minutes or turned away, which could be a bummer. The food here is Japanese beer house style. You'll find some rice balls, grilled meat, and other common Japanese dishes such as Katsu and ramen here. We ordered some sake, grilled shishito peppers, the house ramen and katsu curry rice, and liked all of what we ordered. The ramen was rich and savory, with fall apart pork belly chunks. My boyfriend really enjoyed the smooth curry and crunchy pork katsu as well. It was fun to see what the chef was doing thru the open kitchen, and our servers were very friendly and attentive, which made our dining experience very enjoyable. Overall, we like this little gem in beaverton and will come back again.

Flavors were so rich and restaurant was very homey. I loved the ambiance of the place and customer service was excellent. Definitely will be a go to spot for me when I need to hit that ramen craving. Don't skip out on their pork belly. Absolutely mind blowing.

Hole in the wall restaurant that's worth the try! Long wait though so make sure you arrive early! Flavor was really good but they don't give much noodles.

This place was recommended by a friend and since we were in the area, we decided to give it a try. It was small but cozy place and the staff were very nice. This ramen broth was very flavorful and light. It was delicious but not oily, or overly rich to the point of overpowering the dish. It was beautifully balanced and the pork was very tender. I would definitely come here again.

Very cute place nestled in a small shopping center. The restaraunt gave family owned vibes and was very chill and homey. The ramen was so great. Not too heavy and refreshing yet filling. Had a lot of great flavor. Service was quick tooo! Will come here again

Everything here is really delicious! The ramen is the best in town. The ambiance is cozy and comforting. All the dishes were very high quality as well. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are a bit small. It takes multiple dishes to get full.

Great food as usual and authentic Japanese cuisine . Traditional Japanese menus are available here. Price is reasonable and great tasty Japanese food will be serve.

I've been eating here for years now & it's literally my favorite ramen place ever. Here are some of the pictures of the dishes we ate last night (Agedashi Tofu, Vegetable Ramen, Kakuni Ramen) & pictures of the menu!

Best ramen and best service. I have tried many ramen dishes in Portland, Tigard and Beaverton but nothing can beat Yuzu.

I never thought I would get good ramen outside of Japan. Service is usual for a Japanese restaurant. It's just so polite and friendly. On a crowded day for lunch, we sat down to see how Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya fared on this legendary Japanese dish. Though tempted by several options on the menu, we could not resist the calling of the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, which seemed to be the house favorite. Service was prompt and efficient, and they dished up a pair of bowls for us in hardly any time at all. Our assessment? Noodles. I've had ramen all over the place, and Kizuki wins top marks for its overall texture and consistency. If there's a better noodle in the world, I have yet to find it. It's got that perfect chew. Broth. The garlic tonkotsu broth is a winner. Obviously, you need to like garlic if you're going to like this broth, but it's a feature of the broth, and I didn't find it overwhelming. I didn't leave a single drop of it when I was done, which is all you need to know. Goodies. Kizuki includes high-quality ingredients that included a full soft-boiled egg, onions, bamboo shoots, pork chashu, seaweed (nori), and sprouts. I've been to some ramen shops that may have had more, and certainly some who have had less, but this is probably the best quality/quantity blend I've experienced. I might recommend splurging for the extra pork-belly, for those who are protein inclined, but still, top grades for the goodies. Kizuki is an expanding chain, and if other branches have the same formula, then they've done a great job preserving quality with a winning formula. While I only had the one menu item, it feels like the core principles wouldn't change much, so I'm pretty confident in a five-star for this place. Service was just as good as the food, despite it being a packed house. Well done, Kizuki! Arigato gozaimasu! いただきます!

I went a few months ago with my siblings on a late Saturday and have been back a few times since for late night Friday grub with my friend. Not only are their prices reasonable, but the staff (I've had the same server every time) is so nice, attentive, and helpful. To top it off, the food is great. I love carpaccio everything and I love their entire carpaccio offering (minus the tuna cause I haven't tried it yet). But the yellowtail, salmon, and beef? EVERY TIME. Their chu-toro is also really fresh and buttery. I love medium fatty tuna more than I like the extra fatty one. But if you prefer the latter, try the otoro. Also, there scallops skewers?! A MUST. A favorite late night cap spot for sure.

The ambiance is very much a bar/street food stall kind of place. Loved the hustle and bustle and style of these kinds of places. Don't expect a quiet night out! It gets decently loud, especially when business is booming. Weekends are open late until 2am! Make a reservation if you can!!! We even called on a Friday night an hour before coming and we were still able to land a reservation! It gets very busy on the weekends! Service on the Friday night was a 10/10, our server was actually being trained but he came to check on us frequently! Service on the Thursday was a little less enthused, our server only came to check on us maybe once towards the end. Now for the food and drinks! Drinks -Yuzu nade: yuzu lemonade w/ red wine. 10/10, I love anything yuzu, and it was so pretty! -Whiskey high ball. Comes in two sizes, 16 & 32oz, my friend got the double double and it was so strong! Will likely give you a nice buzz if you get the 32oz, haha! -Peach/Mango/Lemon Freezing Chu-Hais (can be non-alcoholic if you want!). Basically shochu (which is an alcohol similar to vodka or sake) with flavored carbonated water and lots of fresh fruit pieces. -(not pictured): house sake - not too strong, super simple taste Foods -Jalapeno Yellowtail Carpaccio. 10/10 with the yuzu ponzu sauce, definitely my top item! -Yakitori. We got multiple! Shishito peppers, grilled scallops, chicken thigh, pork belly, wagyu. The wagyu just meltsssss in your mouth! Worth it being $8.50 for the wagyu itself. All of the yakitori had great flavor! All differently priced, but worth trying them all! -Bluefin tuna roll. 8pcs for ~$8.50 is an absolute steal! Just melts in your mouth! -Bluefin Chutoro Sashimi (5pcs). Again, it melts in your mouth! Must try! They were out of the Otoro the day we got this but the Chutoro was still so yummy! -Ikayaki (grilled squid). Comes with a small side of spicy mago and pureed/minced ginger. Only thing is that the spicy mayo amount on the plate is so tiny so we had to get an extra side of it for $0.50. It was grilled and cooked to perfection, not too chewy or tough. -Takoyaki. Good ol fried octopus balls, can't go wrong with this guy. -Karaage (Japanese fried chicken). Comes in 2, 5, or 8 pcs. So juicy! -Citrus YTJ roll. Basically if the yellowtail carpaccio was a roll, without the yuzu sauce. This roll only has the ponzu sauce. Still so good!! My favorite roll, I highly recommend. -March 2026 special, Southwest Rainbow. Your classic rainbow roll except with spicy tuna, cucumber and cilantro in the middle. Topped with multiple sashimi fish types and cilantro. I've never had a sushi roll with cilantro but it was good! Had a little kick from the spicy tuna, I loved it! -Honey toast. Probably my least favorite thing because the inside was soft and dryyyyyy, also not a big honey fan. We had to get a side of honey for my friend so he could moisten up the middle a bit and eat it all. They're very generous with the ice cream scoops! Overall, 9/10 place for food and drinks! I'm recommending this place to all my friends and coworkers!!!!
